Music turns upbeat and whimsical. Cut to a tight shot of a custodian in the public gardens, bent over away from camera. She notices the camera and stands up, wiping her cheek with a glove and smudging it with dirt. She smiles.

“I use mine outdoors. It’s perfect for getting dirty in the garden with a friend.”

An assistant hustles past with an armful of papers, and the camera follows. They walk and talk.

“I keep mine in my bag. The boss really likes to ride me hard at the drop of a hat, so I try to stay prepared.”

They enter a coffeeshop as a barista exits. The camera follows while he erects a sidewalk sign - it reads “Piltover’s favorite hole-in-the-wall! Come on in.”

“I get mine out in the morning. My partner is an early riser, so we always start our day with a hot, fresh grind.”

Sunlight flares off the shop window and the shot transitions to an even brighter hexgate thrumming fast and humming in warning.

Slow zoom in through an open door of the lab, Viktor working at a desk facing away. He notices the crew and turns, goggles still on, perplexed.

“What is this? Who let you in here, I told them absolutely no filming in the—“

Diligently pounding away at the Next. Big. Thing.

Cut to the forge kiln blazing away around a thick rod of steel, turning white hot. Tongs pull it out a little, then back in, then full out. Sensual jazz music backs the steady hammering sound of steel on steel. Slo-mo pan over sweating abs. Flexing back. Fist gripping a thick-handled hammer. 2/3 shot of Jayce sitting, shirtless, hammer in hand, full spread, swiping sweat off his brow and neck.

“Innovation has always been a give and take. You gave me a hard thrust into the spotlight, and I took it in stride…but Hextech has always been about the people of this city first and never the glory, whole stop. Councilwoman Medarda enters from the right and tucks his hair into a more perfect swoop. She rests her arm on his shoulder and looks at the camera.

Tight push in on just her. She raises a finger to her lips in a hushing motion.

Watching The Fox and the Hound as an adult is truly wild. As a kid, it's all like, "Oh, sad and beautiful friendship between a dog and a fox! Talking animals! Hooray!" But as an adult, there's a few things that are kinda hard to ignore....

The forest animals are all racially coded, except for Tod (who was raised in captivity) and Vixey (because we can't win 'em all)

The younger of the hunting dogs is named "Copper" while the older one is named "Chief."

Tod is repeatedly threatened with death by the person in charge of the Copper and the Chief for something that's not really a punishable-by-death offense

Copper goes off to police academy hunting season training and comes back very accomplished in hunting other animals the same species as his childhood best friend. So accomplished, in fact, that Chief is jealous. But their boss is VERY proud of him.

Chief is eventually injured not by Tod, but because of his own rigid nature plus bad luck. This is what gets Tod the actual death sentence, even though we're later shown that Cheif's injury isn't as severe as he's making it out to be and he's trying to milk it for sympathy. His boss is aware of this attempt at deception, but still declares the need to kill Tod.

The hunting dogs' boss breaks the law to enter a jurisdiction he has no right to be in to pursue Tod.

While it's clear that, on some level, adult Tod and Copper still care about each other, even if it's only for the sake of the friendship they once had, the story ends on a melancholy note where their friendship is effectively over.

But I'm sure that's all coincidence and nothing at all should be read into it.

How about RED are the clones?

A lot of SFMs and fan content make BLU a lot calmer or more methodical, melancholy, the like. In other words, ascribing more complex emotions to BLU than to RED. So, what if…

What if BLU were the originals, and the clones were made for RED? That’s why RED team is more chaotic and why they tend more towards violence. It’s because they’re copies.

Of course, it’s been years of the Gravel Wars, and so many times sent through respawn that the minds of all the mercs have deteriorated, so it would be hard to say if any of the mercs have their original personalities anymore.
