I've not posted about Dodderganger before? Well here she is.

Dodderganger is my own interpretation of a Hunter Gardener. Out of some far-fetched idea that does NOT mirror her Survivor abilities, Dodderganger is a glorified Mimikyu who can swap bodies with other survivors.

Anyway, when I say she can swap bodies, she gets rid of her fear radius and can use the survivor's item with minimal efficiency, or none if the item only has once use and no recharges. She can also perform fake actions, appearing to be decoding/entering password/opening chests but grants zero progress, as well as vault.

In return, the victim of the swappening has to chase down the hunter in order to regain their body. The victim can still choose to decode, but their fear radius would confuse other survivors, and neither the victim nor hunter can escape when swapped.

Oh yeah, the name is a combination of dodder, a type of leafless parasitic plant that twirls around plants and suck off their nutrients, and doppelganger. A legit Pokémon name

Oh did I mention that the Survivor-like appearance is an actual sac she made to look like a person? Because underneath is just a skull and lots and lots of hideous tendrils?

This version mainly caught my attention because aesthetically she looks similar to mine. But I know their backstories are completely different, haha.

At least their version is way scarier.

How could I go on about Dodderganger without mentioning her dad?

Introducing Leo Beck Edwin Walker, the Toymaker! He carries two puppets with in (can be found in chests), which when throw at one thing will complete a task relevant to said thing! From decoding to healing to stunning, the puppets can do it all!

Edwin came to the Manor for the priced money, of course, but he was also promised to see his dearest family member...

*notices the vines* so you can grow vines on your body like me? *he seems nervous of her stance and the way she looks at him* I am a hunter as well. well, used to be a killer, named Battousai the Man Slayer, anyway, its nice to meet you!

You hear rattling noises, like strong wind blowing towards leaves. Dodderganger stares at you, unblinking. She raised her left arm, and suddenly, a mass of tendrils erupted from the wrist, and the left hand goes limp.

They're waving at you.

Out of the survivors > hunters I've made:

- Mind's Eye (well... Mind's Eye)

- Mechanic (Mangled Mechanic)

- Dancer (Distressed Dancer)

- Mercenary (no name yet)

- Gardener (Dodderganger)

- Seer (Fate Sealer)

...only Seer can speak properly.

This is why I cannot run an ask blog for my swapped hunters

- Mind's Eye and Mechanic SCREECHES

- Dancer can only make noises with a music box

- Mercenary is literally just floating fabrics

- Gardener can only speak properly when taking over a survivor

- Seer can speak but chose not to speak any more than necessary

...Not the greatest for interactions...
