Groundhog Day: A Slippery Spiral
Around this time, we eagerly anticipate the best day of the year! Nope, we’re not talking about birthdays, anniversaries, and for you shopaholics, Black Friday.
We're talking about the day where a fine, furry young gentleman, who also happens to be a groundhog, and very famous meteorologist, Punxsutawney Phil, gives us the most critical information of the year -- six more weeks of a blustery cold Winter OR an earlier springing into Spring!
It’s undoubtedly the most important day of the year, and on this Groundhog Day there’s something you can do to commemorate this momentous occasion: Get your home ready for either verdict, “shadow” or “no shadow!”
We leave Phil to Phil’s predictive expert weather analysis. R+CO’s Home Health Advisory team channels Phil’s Phantastic spirit in diagnosing damage to your home, especially water damage due to the copious rains and flooding.
With a keen eye, if we see “a shadow” we do not run away and hide in a groundhog hole. A team compiles a comprehensive diagnostic report on all findings; consulting with you on solutions, and a path to fix the damage. At the end, your home will be sealed, safe, and nicely protected from future elemental onslaughts.
If we see “no shadow,” let’s get started on preventative maintenance. The prescription is a diagnostic and wash. Your home will be brightly cleaned, and we will have a game plan to prepare your house for the year to follow – especially the harsh winter and hot summer.
Our mission is to bring homeowners peace of mind. Proactivity versus reactivity is R+CO’s prescription for you and your home.
Unlike Bill Murray’s famous movie, we don’t want you to wake up on Groundhog Day each year, regretting not having taken proper precautions and then suffering home repair headaches over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over… forever, and ever, and ever, and ever, in perpetuity!
We will joyously pattern-interrupt the deja-vu and get you building momentum for home health and longevity!

Small Dry Rot job in Sheffield, when dealing with dry rot you follow a system, identify, cause, extent, strip out, treat, install, preserve. This is very specialised work and if not done correctly it will return. We expect lots of outbreaks due to the summer we have just had. If you need our help reach out to [email protected] #dryrot #decay #timber #fungus #serpulalacrymans (at All Dry Damp Proofing Ltd) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cj5g7FtLWP1/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Something that I hadn't really registered at first but apparently used to give me a little extra joy in this activity, is whenever I opened the window, usually Lilith would get very excited and want to sit in front of it. Of course she lost a lot of that sort of enthusiasm towards the end; plus it was often too warm at that time of year to open them, anyways... Idk. It's weird. I like having the window open, anyways, bc I don't often get to go outside- it's either too hot or too cool and I don't have very many outfits that are suitable, plus there's not usually any reason to. Even when I leave the house I'm not spending much of that time outdoors. So I genuinely enjoy open windows on nice days. But something was lost when somebody who seemed to love it even more than I did, was no longer around to enjoy it with me.
