we have a rather quirky way of seeing the world, it seems watermelon = fruit that has a little bit of the sky in it banana = fruit the lice-eater (monkey) eats milkshake = milk that has been through a struggle cranberry = it says "duks!" (onomatopoeia) (describing the noise cranberries make when boiled) pickle = salty gourd cake = bread that has sugariness in it; sweet bread egg = egg but also a man's testicle star = star but also a bellybutton dick = a man's "big part" vagina = a woman's "ember" or "spark" monkey = lice-eater giraffe = it is voiceless goose = it has teeth fox = its hide is bad cardinal = it causes blood (color) to appear swan = it has big teeth coyote = wild dog donkey = it has long ears sheep = its fur is bad goat = its smells bad blue = color of the sky yellow = color of bile red = color of blood green = color of grass gray = color of ash orange = "it has yellow" pink = "it used to be red" deaf = someone's entire two ears are full/affected blind = someone's entire two eyes are full/affected flu = big cold toothache = biting at the tooth the stairs = log with holes bathroom = place where they pee post office = place where one sends paper things dentist's office = place where he (the dentist) pulls out teeth the beach = where the light shimmers on the water "on the board/platform" = on the floor "on the dirt" = on the ground "bud" (ie. plant bud) = baby "fresh" = young woman "pet" = someone's romantic partner movie = bodies moving along computer = it makes for matters telephone = one uses it to strike the wire motorcycle = two wheels that work all over radio = it carries noise it is exhausting = it causes one's strength to die it is worrisome = it causes the mind to rock back and forth it is boring = it causes the day to be long to be divorced = to have one's marriage smashed up/shattered Native people = "genuine people" Tuscarora people = "we gather hemp" white people = "they gather cotton" to read = to make the matter for oneself to teach = to make the matter for another to draw = to drag a mark to have time = to have room he woke me up = he stirred me from dreams he "sold" me = he betrayed me I "put it down" = I failed I "stood up" the lights = I turned the lights on I "stood up" a blanket = I went sailing "I issued forth blood" = I bled my mind/consciousness vanished/disappeared = I fainted George Washington = the town destroyer Washington DC = the place of the town destroyer President = he devastates nations New York = in the water America = place of the Bostonians How old are you? = How many years have you crossed?
