so let me get this straight
says she has dreams face reveal and he's only face revealing so she doesn't leak it first, then doesn't show the pictures, aka the one thing that couldn't be faked. she says they talked very briefly, give or take a month or 2. why would he face reveal to her, yet not friends of what would be 5-8 years at the time. he was so scared of his face being leaked he went out of state just to go to the dentist or to eat with his mom, so why would he face reveal to a girl he only knew for a month or 2?
the contact name on the text messages is either blocked out or cropped out. her only proof that this is him is that he "shows up in her TikTok contacts." now we know that since 2020 dream has been doxxed and his number has been leaked and changed AT LEAST once since then. this is common knowledge in the fandom but he even confirms it himself in his face reveal video. so how would she have his current number if this happened in 2020? the only way that would make sense is if he never updated his contact information on TikTok, which can't be true as he just restored his TikTok account last week and would need updated contact info or if she got his new current number from a doxx. or the video is fake.
she says "it crosses the line when he's sending me his huge house/inviting me." at that time dream lived in an apartment, there were even times when he said he was struggling to pay rent, what "huge house" is she referring to because he didn't move in with sapnap until 2021 and the huge house they live in now, they just moved into give or take 2 weeks before the meetup/face reveal
for the Snapchat thing there's really no way to prove that's even his snap profile unless dream leaks his private snap, and if it is his there's conveniently not a single saved message except for the "huh" so there's no way of knowing what was said in these chats
her boyfriend is an anti and the one driving this whole thing. she said they talked, nothing bad happened and they stopped talking because she got bored/he wasn't interesting NOT because she was manipulated. but the bf claims dream groomed her (we'll get into that in a moment). this bf is a full believer of the whole sex mod scandal and believes he's a pedo.
the twitter DMs. while these can easily be faked, I don't think they are. I think this is a case of "I had something real for credibility sake but added fake shit to make it worse". the reason I think the DMs are real is because why would she include messages of him saying "how old are you? 18 nvm" if she was trying to "expose him." it's likely she had 18 in her bio because it's clear Dream thought he was talking to someone who was 18. there's nothing damning in these DMs. it's literally just 2 people talking about school.
goes private as soon as it gets attention and doesn't elaborate on any of these claims. this is a serious situation and you're playing with someone's career, give context and elaborate.
and finally even if all of this is real, it's not grooming and it's not sexual assault. they never even met in person, they talked for like 2 months and there was no evidence of coercion in the messages shown. the only crime here is cringey ass flirting between a 20 year old and a believed 18 year old that made me want to bleach my eyes. people bring up power imbalance as well. her bf says she was never a fan of him. at this time dream smp hadn't even started, he had just blown up (2M subs), and again in the dms shown there is no evidence of this dynamic in play. if she was a fan, is it weird? yeah. is it grooming or sa? NO!
TLDR: there's a lot of holes in the story that just don't make sense and even if it is real it's not grooming or SA

Speaking of Twitter/X, Eric Seufert, writing on Threads:
Twitter has seen a dramatic decrease in its Top Downloaded chart position across both platforms since the app was renamed to X. Why? The situation presents a fascinating case study at the intersection of brand equity and mobile platform dynamics.
The case is somewhat unprecedented: Twitter built a ubiquitous, household-name brand over the course of nearly 2 decades and then simply abandoned it, leaving it to be exploited by competitors, unopposed, through the mobile platforms’ branded search ads. [...]
My hypothesis is that, while the terminally-online are entirely aware of Twitter’s rebrand to X, most consumers aren’t, and their searches for “Twitter” on platform stores surface ads and genuine search results that are in no way redolent of Twitter.
So if you don’t know that Twitter changed its name to X, and search for “Twitter”, the top result is a paid ad from a competitor (Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram, etc.), and the result for X doesn’t look anything like Twitter. It doesn’t have the name, doesn’t say “formerly Twitter”, and isn’t even blue. It’s just the ugly X icon and the insipid slogan “Blaze your glory!”
At this moment, Threads is #2 on the App Store’s top free downloads list, and X is #51. On the Play Store, Threads is #6 and X is (scroll, scroll, scroll...) #66. This rebranding would be a firing offense if the mastermind behind it didn’t own the company. (So much for Threads being the one that’s supposedly gasping for air.)

Countless familiar faces passed her as Emery leaned against the white stone wall, and while she saw them, she wasn’t in much of a mood to chit-chat.
No, instead, Emery found herself mulling over an idea- debating on if it was stupid or if it would work out.
The past few weeks, when she wasn’t dealing with Elite stuff, Emery had been keeping an eye on other matches. The matches of her friends—like Orange and the Best Friends, Darby and Jungle Boy even, all the way to Adam and Britt.
Things between most of them had soothed over—with the exception of Jungle Boy. She hadn’t really spoken to him much in the last two years, ever since Elite had turned heel. Still yet, just as Emery had with Hangman, she kept a watchful eye on everyone’s matches and what they had going on. When titles were won, she was ecstatic; when they were lost, she was saddened; when betrayals happened, she was pissed.
Here recently, though, there was one person in particular, she had been watching closely. He seemed to be getting a raw deal on things—despite the distance he had come.
The relationship between Emery and Wardlow was… different. Not very many people even knew it existed, hell she could count the number of people that knew on her two hands and still have fingers left.
When he had started, Wardlow was this powerhouse, a force to be reckoned with, that MJF had bought for protection. That had actually done him well if she had to be honest. Wardlow had strength and skill- there was no denying it. Over the years, Emery had watched as he grew into a whole new person and eventually was able to get free of Friedman’s grasp and wallet.
She was happy for him, beyond happy actually, but then she had to watch as months ticked by, and it was one thing after another. Handcuffs, matches to get matches, going through the wringer—much like MJF had done to Cody Rhodes years prior.
Eventually, Wardlow had come out of the whole ordeal rather unscathed, got some closure on MJF, put the Pinnacle days behind him, and received his own All Elite contract. That was the day that Emery should have approached him—but she hadn’t.
Not for lack of trying, though; she had waited backstage near the room that he had changed in earlier. However, when he was down the hallway from her, Emery froze.
What could she have even said to him?
They had never been super close. Small talk backstage had led to clandestine meetings far from prying ears and eyes. Conversations that would last maybe five or ten minutes before someone needed to leave. The bulk of their back and forth had been over text or Snapchat, an easy way for it to slide under MJF’s radar- and, if she was being honest with herself, Kenny’s radar as well.
It wasn’t that she was afraid of how Kenny would react, not really; Emery just thought he had enough on his own plate, and it had been about the time of their turning heel. There just was never the right moment for her to approach the topic of a new friend that she had found in Wardlow.
When they’d talk, Emery felt abundantly safe and like she could talk to him about anything. Even things that dealt with Kenny, the Bucks, Hangman, her mental health, her struggles as a professional—anything. He never once made her feel judged—not that anyone had, but it was refreshing to have a new perspective on everything. Wardlow was one of those guys that were secretly funny and very charming, even when he wasn’t trying to be. Overall, it was refreshing, and keeping it quiet was difficult the longer it went on.
However, here recently, with everything going on—Emery could care less about hiding any form of relationship. She desperately wanted her cowboy back but knew that would probably never happen. Kyle was out with an injury with an unknown return time, Adam was still out from the concussion he got last year.
A part of her just felt like it was time for everything to be out in the open when it concerned her. Everything that had happened last night and tonight? Cinched that idea and brought her to where she was now.
Just down the hall from medical. Where Wardlow was being looked at after his match against Hobbs.
Last night, a video surfaced that showed Wardlow finding his vehicle had been broken into. His wrestling gear was gone. His title was gone.
The TNT title that he had worked his ass off to get. The one he had fought tooth and nail for with Samoa Joe over.
To top it all off, tonight had to wrestle a match against Hobbs where that very same TNT title was on the line—and he had to wrestle it in street clothes. That was never easy to do; jeans don’t move the same as wrestling attire—and for someone the size of Wardlow? It was even more difficult to move around in.
Emery had no doubt in her mind that Wardlow would have won—if it hadn’t been for Q.T Marshall.
Sighing in irritation, a scowl on her face as she crossed her arms at the thought, Emery recalled back to years back with the realization she never liked Marshall. He had turned his back on Cody and the Nightmare family. Betrayed them.
Despite any issues Kenny and Cody had back in New Japan, they had mended that bridge, and in her opinion, Cody was a pretty good guy.
And he had one of the cutest dogs.
Ever since then, though, Emery had a sour taste in her mouth when it came to Q.T. Marshall- and after what she saw transpire tonight? Against Wardlow? She was done standing to the side and not doing anything.
Taking a deep breath and squaring her shoulders, Emery pushed herself up off the wall and walked towards the room twenty feet away.
It was now or never—either he’d accept her help or laugh and turn her away—but at least she could say she tried. The door came quicker than she would have liked it, but Emery persisted, peering around the open door and seeing the guy she was looking for.
He was sat on one of the tables, hunched over a little bit, an ice pack on his knee and one covering the back of his neck. Before making her presence known, she took in his new haircut at a closer distance; it looked good on him, sure, but she missed the long hair he had.
Damn Samoa Joe.
 Holding her breath, Emery reached up and gently rapped on the frame, catching Wardlow’s attention. His head popped up, straightening slightly when he saw her standing there. No expression could be found on his face except that of tiredness.
“Shouldn’t you be with the rest of the Elite?” he asked her, his voice low and slightly raspy.
“Perhaps…” Emery hesitated before taking a step into the room, her arms crossing in front of her, “But I wanted to check on you… after everything that’s happened.”
“Don’t worry ‘bout none of that,” Wardlow frowned, waving it off before reaching back and taking the ice pack off his neck. He sat there, rolling his neck a few times, grimacing as the pain rocketed through his body, “Besides. You’ve got bigger problems to focus on.”
“Ken, Nick, and Matt got everything under control… I’m not really—…”
“I meant your number one contenders tournament.”
Oh.
“That… I uh, I actually had to drop out…” Emery frowned, looking away from him.
“How come? You were kicking ass out there,” Wardlow asked her, eyes furrowed.
“My shoulder’s been getting pretty banged up in matches lately… and after last week’s match against Nyla…” she trailed off, her mind running back to the pain she had been in halfway through her match, “…Doc gave the Ref the signal, the match was ended about seven minutes in. My arm felt like it was on fire… I couldn’t move it without a sharp jolt going through my body… Small fracture, apparently… I’ll be out for a few months at the very least.”
Wardlow was silent for a moment, processing the information, before he muttered, “Sorry to hear that…I was sure you were gonna win.”
Emery gave him a small smile of appreciation, before responding, “As I was sure you would have won tonight—if not for Marshall.”
Agitation crossed Wardlow’s face once more, his jaw clenching.
“Don’t remind me.”
“Sorry… I just—with being out now for who knows how long… I just wanted to let you know that I was here. If you wanted some backup…. Someone to watch your back, chase off Marshall and all that.”
“I appreciate it, but no. Every time I join up with someone, they stab me in the back—” Wardlow shook his head, tossing the ice pack onto the table before gently stepping down from it.
“You think that little of me?”
Wardlow looked at her confused, an eyebrow raised, “What? No—I’m just saying that, if you haven’t noticed, my solo streak is all that has done me any good.”
“Oh, a lot of good being Solo tonight done you. Yeah, sure,” Emery frowned, huffing out a breath.
“Look at my history Emery. Max? Joe?”
“Look at them, Michael. Am I anything—anything at ALL—like them? All I’m saying is that I’ll be by your side if you want me to be. I’m not gonna beg or grovel, I’m not gonna promise anything from it. But I can help you—I can help you get even. Get YOUR title back. The choice is yours.”
Wardlow stood there, his mind racing as he considered every possible outcome. He thought back to his days with the Pinnacle; back then, he had thought he had it all. There would never be anything he wanted more. Then, this short little brunette crashed into his life, and suddenly Wardlow would find himself seeking her out to have a brief five-minute conversation, hidden away from other people. He’d smirk more often, usually looking forward to whatever silly meme she’d send him or stupid photo on Snapchat.
She had made his life better—and while it was true that over the past year or so, they hadn’t spoken much, Wardlow still valued her friendship. Her mind. Her knowledge. He valued her. Running his tongue on the outside of his lips for a brief second, Wardlow gave a chuckle as he looked up from the floor. His brown eyes stared into her own, and he gave her a smirk before rolling his neck slightly to loosen the muscles.
“Alright, Puppy. What you got in mind?”

it was a dumb situation, not an interesting one, but he decided to become friend with a big stan who made nsfw jokes about him. even if she's an adult it's weird af. he literally got in contact with her after meeting her on omegle and then added her everywhere
i just hope he starts being more like sap and george. the space was very cute but they weren't acting like they were the fans' friends and that was nice

It’s so sad to me that Snapchat pioneered the story format and dynamic filters and continues to be one of the few social media that’s friendly to SW and yet it’s basically unusable at this point due to it being bloated with ads, “tiles” for sensationalist journalism, annoying notifications every time they get a new filter, and all kinds of bugs and glitches that serves to drain your battery. Maybe it’s the nostalgia goggles but it was nice to see an outsider disrupt big tech and it sucks to see it sinking.
