This video from Charlie Nebe (YT: CharlieNebe & GetTheeToTheStitchery, IG: GetTheeToTheStitchery) almost perfectly describes the way my autistic brain functions.

I wish everyone would stop “hoping I feel better.” or saying “I want you to get better.” .
Yes. The sentiment is kind & well intended.
No. It does not help me.
After over 2 years of chronic pain & continually having new symptoms come up that hold me back..better isn’t an option for me right now.
Finding the right Dr.’s & the right diagnosis’s.
That is the only thing that’s going to help me & get me “better”
&& even that isn’t a guarantee when it comes to chronic illnesses.
Explaining this over, & over, & over again.. is just as exhausting as the chronic fatigue I endure..
Anyway.
That’s all. Thank you for listening.

Although very true, this excludes those of us that just aren’t able bodied & lack the privilege to exert or expend the energy to exercise.
Though because my disability is dynamic, not static, I try to make this a priority when I can.
Remember though..
Not every body is an able body!!!
#mytruth #dynamicdisability #endogirlie
“A life that lacks physical exercise and activity leads to lethargy and promotes sickness of both body and mind. Exercise is important because it helps the heart, lungs, muscles and brain to be more efficient in their use of oxygen. Take personal responsibility over what you can control – it’s your life.”
— Archibald Marwizi, Making Success Deliberate

Posted @withregram • @chronicallycandidmemes And none for Gretchen Weiners, bye • • ID: a sepia-toned photograph of two women (Tatiana Romanov and her mother, Alexandra) seated facing each other in a carriage but both looking at the camera which is positioned slightly behind and to the side of Tatiana, who is turning around to look at it. Both women have furrowed brows and look skeptical. Tatiana (the woman on the left) has a quote bubble that says “Wait, if you use a wheelchair, why can you walk?” And Alexandra (the woman on the right) has a quote bubble that says “oh my god, Karen, you can’t just ask people why they can walk”. #ChronicIllness #ChronicallyIll #ChronicIllnessMemes #ChronicIllnessMeme #Spoonie #ChronicIllnessHumor #Humor #SpoonieHumor #SpoonieMemes #VintageMemes #VintagePhotos #Lol #LaughterIsTheBestMedicine #SpoonieStrong #DisabilityMemes #ChronicallyCandidMemes #MeanGirlsMemes #MeanGirls #DynamicDisability #AmbulatoryWheelchairUsersExist #Ableism #BabeWithAMobilityAid #WheelchairMemes #Wheelchair #WheelchairUser https://www.instagram.com/p/CYfE4FHP_g6Urci0sPzh5nNNA6SJg5omkyhhyQ0/?utm_medium=tumblr
