О выпуске электрических автомобилей начинают задумываться не только крупные зарубежные концерны, но и российские производители. Камаз вовсю тестирует электробусы и зарядные станции, концерн КРЭТ уже наладил выпуск собственных станций быстрой зарядки, а компания VolgaBus создала беспилотные шаттлы на электродвигателях. В прошлом году был показан и тестовый образец электрической Lada Vesta, а сейчас пришёл черёд и российской «Группа ГАЗ», которая продемонстрировала электро-газель на открытии выставки Comtrans 2017.

Автомобиль «ГАЗель Next» оснащена электроприводом мощностью 90 кВт (122 л.с.), благодаря которому запас хода нового автомобиля составляет около 120 километров на одном заряде. Заряжаться его батареи могут от сети с напряжением в 220 и 380 вольт. Для полного заряда аккумуляторов автомобилю необходимо около трёх часов, — сообщает сайт evmode.

Как и в предыдущих демонстрационных версиях электрических ГАЗелей, в «ГАЗель Next» практически вся электрическая начинка импортная. На автомобили этой марки в прошлом устанавливали движки от американского электрокара Dodge EV, выпущенного в 2009 году, позднее использовались комплексные решения других производителей. В частности, применялись батареи американской компании EnerDel. Тем не менее, компоненты, закупленные для создания электрической «ГАЗель Next» уже к концу года планируют начать заменять российскими аналогами. ГАЗ совместно со своими партнёрами до конца 2017 года планирует приступить к разработке собственных батарей. Но пока не уточняется, из чьих базовых элемен��ов питания они будут собираться. Есть вероятность, что всё-таки из импортных.

Представители компании отметили, что характеристики электрических автомобилей этой марки существенно улучшают характеристики машин, а в будущем электрическая силовая установка может быть использована и для серийного производства «ГАЗель Next», но называть конкретные сроки отказались. Вероятно, на первых порах производитель будет ориентироваться на определённых заказчиков, поставляя электрические ГАЗели компаниям-перевозчикам и предприятиям.
