🔼 Lifts, as in elevators No idea why this is a repeated thing in my writing, but it is. Maybe something to do with my liminal spaces obsession?
🔀 Non-linear narrative structure I could just tell a story from beginning to end, but I don't. Ever. Again, no idea why. It's just how they come out. I like reading stories with unconventional structures though, so I guess that filters through into my own writing.
⬛ Electrochromic glass You know the kind where you can turn it transparent or opaque with an electrical current? That's cool as fuck. I've been low-key obsessed with it since I saw it on a design show years ago. I want it in my house but I can't afford it, so my characters get it instead. Also something about concealing, revealing, and things not being how they first appear.
💪🏻 Cracking joints Pretty much everything I write has at least one person in it who cracks their neck, shoulders or knuckles on the regular. I do the neck-cracky-head-tilt thing and all my joints like to sing the song of their people when I move, so I guess I've dumped symptomatic hypermobility onto a whole bunch of my characters by default.
🧥 Comfort clothing Usually, but not always, a trademark coat. Sometimes it's literal comfort clothing, like Brett's vicuña wool socks with the unobtrusive seams, and sometimes it's "I've worn this so much it's basically part of my body now" clothing like Rafe's knackered old t-shirts with holes under the arms.

Some-times, we face glare due to too much daylight which makes it difficult to perform tasks such as reading and typing on screens, which reduces productivity.Another important feature of this technique is that it uses only 20nm of metal for getting complete opacity.
Such windows will filter out all wavelengths equally and will provide the uniform colour of daylight.The presently available smart window solution employs electrochromic technology that provides dynamic tinting of glass by either automatic or manual control. Natural light impacts the visual quality of a space and also thermal needs of occupants. The lab prototype of this window contains a Cu-Ag gel electrolyte instead of liquid because it is less prone to leaks, has easier fabrication process and keeps the electrolyte confined in case of any accident.
