But also an actual answer I'm way way way way more of a "toon, typically bipdal children's media idea of a dragon, as this sort of brightly coloured dinosaur with stubby limbs, horns, and a big dumb nose" dragon. I have an early childhood exposure to Eligecos' art, Dragon Tales, and the guy above, Dragon by Dav Pilkey, to thank for the particular Way a dragon manifests in my brain. As these sort of fantastical creatures of childlike imagination, whimsy, and innocence.

A second actual answer is I've been working on a final fursona for a long time that approximates all the ways "dragon" as self-image manifests in my brain. I keep getting warmer then colder.

First ever commission I got from Gulf! This one was done by @Eligecos! I remember I had to do a lot of scrambling to set up Paypal and get one of his slots, which definitely got me giddy and excited to see the final result in the end <3 To this day, it inspired a lot of the changes his design had had, like the round triangular shape of the snout and the added fat on his buff body. This is my massive love letter to some of my favorite dragon characters online. This year I really got in touch with my interest in dragons so I really wanted to make this a special illustration to show that. My little Dragon Glimmer is at the bottom hosting a little tea party. And there’s a hidden Sword in the Stone reference no one has pointed out yet.
