Myself Arun Kashyap from Mangan, Sikkim. I would like to share my experience with Rohini college, Nagercoil.

I choose to become an IT engineer. I studied at Rohini College of Engineering and Technology, the top 10 engineering colleges in Nagercoil . The faculty ratio was about 20:1 may be. All the faculty have either done their PG or PhD. The teaching was good. The exam was placed every month once a module is done and it was easier to answer and get passed.  

RCET stands among the top 10 engineering colleges in Nagercoil due to its strong course work and extremely well research programs, faculties are highly experienced and serious about their work. Placement in RCET is getting better day by day. RCET campus is next level in infrastructure. Many internships were given based on merit. I did not opt for any internship programs as I got other plans after graduation but students are getting internships even from 5th semester onwards. From the 6th semester onwards, students were given opportunities to attend placements. There are many companies like Infosys and hp. And also, many other big companies visit the campus to hire students. The fees’ structure was on the higher side as it was a private college but the opportunities are vast. Many get internships and the companies visit the campus yearly to recruit a mass of students.

During my program, I was mentored by senior professors and industry experts which was a great experience, and which made me more confident. I must say, Rohini College has best faculties who are always ready to help you to come out from any problem. Almost all the faculty members are holds immense experience in the industry. Rohini College of Engineering - Technical talk on BUSINESS ANALYTICS

Department of Computer Science and Engineering has organized a technical talk on ‘Business Analytics” at the Opulent Hall for its students to empower engineers with business. The function was presided by the Board of directors, Chief Guest Mr. Anoop, Technical Lead, Network Systems. The function started with invocation song followed by lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. Students, presented welcome address. 

Principal Dr. R.Rajesh addressed the audience and appreciated the department for conducting activities under department association. He advised the students to make use of this technical talk by learning new technology beyond the curriculum. He gave some brief idea about today’s topic with examples of implementation. Mr. Anoop, Technical Lead, Network Systems addressed the gathering by congratulating the department for conducting various events, he advised the students to build some projects on new technology in coordination with other departments. Program was ended with presentation of memento to the resource person by Dr.R.Rajesh, Principal, Prof. Sahila Devi Head of the Department CSE and vote of thanks by delivered by the student of 3rd Year CSE. The anchoring for the function was done by Ms.Hema B.Krishnana, Student of 3rd Year CSE.
