Rohini College of Engineering - Technical talk on BUSINESS ANALYTICS

Department of Computer Science and Engineering has organized a technical talk on ‘Business Analytics” at the Opulent Hall for its students to empower engineers with business. The function was presided by the Board of directors, Chief Guest Mr. Anoop, Technical Lead, Network Systems. The function started with invocation song followed by lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. Students, presented welcome address. 

Principal Dr. R.Rajesh addressed the audience and appreciated the department for conducting activities under department association. He advised the students to make use of this technical talk by learning new technology beyond the curriculum. He gave some brief idea about today’s topic with examples of implementation. Mr. Anoop, Technical Lead, Network Systems addressed the gathering by congratulating the department for conducting various events, he advised the students to build some projects on new technology in coordination with other departments. Program was ended with presentation of memento to the resource person by Dr.R.Rajesh, Principal, Prof. Sahila Devi Head of the Department CSE and vote of thanks by delivered by the student of 3rd Year CSE. What will be your inputs for an engineering aspirant to choose Rohini College of engineering as their choice?

Rohini College has been instrumental in fulfilling my dream of being with Best Engineering College and transforming my life with the right set of industry required skills. I spent valuable time in selecting the right Engineering College and Rohini College was Just Right for me as it is the only institute to offer Industry Aligned courses. During my program, I was mentored by senior professors and industry experts which was a great experience, and which made me more confident. I also had great experience during my internship which was offered by institute. I am proud and thankful to Rohini College for the support and guidance offered. I must say, Rohini College has best faculties who are always ready to help you to come out from any problem. Almost all the faculty members are holds immense experience in the industry. So, they always map the subject to the industry. It was all practical study. They were very supportive and kind.

What was your experience with Rohini College of engineering?

My experience with Rohini College is a bag full of fond memories. It certainly is one of the best years of my academic life. When I look back I see those years, where I developed a lot as an individual and discovered new horizons of my capabilities. I found a new level of self-belief and motivation. All these were a result of the continuous encouragement and support shown by the faculty members. There was always a very honesty and warm feeling at Rohini College like a very closely-knit family. I would like to thank my batch mates and faculty for giving me a very memorable experience which I will cherish always.

How do you feel being an alumnus of such a prestigious institution?

I‘m very fortunate to be an alumnus of Rohini College of Engineering & Technology that has provided me the immense growth opportunity to excel in my professional life. Rohini College has played a vital role in churning out professionals from aspirants. Hello friends, I’m krishna satish. I’m here to share my experience with Rohini college of Engineering and Technology, the top engineering college in Kanyakumari 2022.

RCET, the top 10 Engineering college in Kanyakumari 2022 is like a second home for me. I’m Proud to be part of an established institute in engineering and management studies which provides quality education and skill enrichment through systematic strategies, well qualified and approachable faculty. On entering thecampus, the beauty of the campus with lush greenery envelops me with a warm hug. The most awesome department in RCET, one of the top 10 Engineering colleges in Kanyakumari 2022 is Mechanical Engineering. Simply the best in the college.

I honestly don't know what some other 'anonymous' reviewers were complaining about, I graduated in 2012 and had the best time of my life at this place. Faculty is great and facilities are always improving every year. Student community is vibrant and brags of innumerable accolades across all walks of life. There is a large and well-knit group of alumni who are accomplished and always willing to mentor current students to achieve greatness.

We had an opportunity to talk with Revathi and understand how Rohini College of Engineering and Technology has helped her in transforming her life. Rohini College is a place of divine mystery of thoughts is what Revathi from Padmanbhapuram, Kanyakumari district, an alumnus of Rohini College thinks.

What motivated you to go to college every day?

She mentioned that she didn't realize what it was that she didn't know. In fact, the Dunning-Kruger effect states that those who are just beginning to learn a new skill may believe they're more skilled than they indeed are until they've increased their skill level and become more competent. This is what exactly started happening throughout my engineering. There was new learning every day and I started realizing how much I didn’t knew and took my professors guidance in everything. “Better than a thousand days of diligent study is one day with a great teacher”, came true here at Rohini College.

How did Rohini College help you with the transformation?

College is the place where the mystic effect of knowledge and fun meets. And Rohini College has set the standards high for this as well. The cultural festival that happens annually and all the other initiatives that are taken by the college departments to give the exposure to the students on technical end is the exact balance I am talking about. I have got international exposure studying in the southern part of India. The international conferences, symposiums, and paper presentations and all other initiatives that are taken by the departments of the college get the attention of students not only on studies but also on applying the knowledge of what we have gained here. I can confidently say that Rohini College is the reason for me being here at this stage.
