Okay…this is something I know we’ve talked about many times in our deep discussions but now that I think about the other boys I’m like “…oh shit” so here we GO LOL

Javi P: a type of were-creature, I love the idea of Javi having the ties to a Texas and Latino based monster and as someone who’s great tia swore she saw the chupacabra and then knowing there’s a monster/beast I’ve heard legend about living in the hill country, theres something familiar and close knit tradition about were-creatures based in local and cultural urban legends that fits Javi’s vibes about being so connected to his home

Pero T: yes he is a peak werewolf but I will say this until I write the fic but he is a lake monster, creature from the black lagoon style, he lurks likes his isolation and is aware to his surroundings. He would do perfect as a lake monster simply surviving as a grumpy hiding monster under the waves

Marcus Pike: DRAGON!!! Grand beautiful majestic creatures that hoard precious things? Marcus is all about the arts and seeing the beauty in everything, those vibes just make me think of him as this beautiful grand dragon that hoards art until he finds you his most precious treasure

Dave York: something demonic, he always reminds me of the Lucifer figure - this perfect soldier who followed orders until he questioned his existence and is now disillusioned and corrupt living on his own terms now

Frankie: my sweet werewolf boy, loyal big and forever protective and will bare his fangs whenever he feels threatens and has a bit of a temper, also can you imagine how COZY HE WOULD BE??

Din: ghost, he’s a ghost that’s simply living in this strange beskar armor but his spirit is so strong and righteous that it stays alive and haunts his armor. But he is tender and speaks with the softest whispers in the wind, like a echo you wonder if you even heard in the first place

Joel: a ghost like Din but a much scarier version, like a spirit of vengeance that is violent and fierce, powerful in its rage but a known protector that watches over anyone who walks home alone at night, he sits in the trees with eyes that are so dark they blend with the night

Jack: Vampire, suave a bit extravagant and luxurious and I only am doing this cause I want him to make all the stupid vampire puns and even has fake vampire plastic teeth he playfully uses from time to time, also can you imagine him slick gelled hair back super classic Dracula style?? 😮‍💨

Dieter: shapeshifter, he’s a man of many faces and many roles that you wonder if he even knows what his true self looks like anymore, goes into how he’s an actor and I think there’s so many layers to dieter that he keeps up to make sure no one truly knows him

Ezra: eldritch space creature, has many eyes speaks in many voices that seem out of this realm but he is kind and moves very gently. He is wise beyond his years and is interested in all things human, but like any eldritch creature it can be tricky and turn on a whim when need be

Javi G: Mothman!! Super sweet and chattery and is kind of an odd ball but simply wants to be left alone in the woods but remains curious about the world around him, holds a certain charm to him but is still a dangerous creature underneath it all

Eri…if I could go back in time and tell last month me you would be sending me this ask I would’ve thought I was sent into another dimension but I AM SO GLAD WE ARE HERE OMFG!!!!!!!

Girl Dad Gojo… goodness the two of them would be thick as thieves until she is older and utterly unimpressed by her father, the greatest sorcerer of all time, because to baby girl he is simply papa or aka the loser who cried when she learned how to ride a bike

The first time she get sick he is a total wreck. He just wants to keep her safe but her fever has her in tears and all he can do is hold his whimpering sick baby. He’s reminded of how human and small he actually is because of this tiny babe wrecking his heart. He stays up the entire night to make sure she sleeps good (he of course gets sick the next week and he’s even worse at being a baby about it than she is)

Anytime she tries to crawl he is lying on the floor right there besides her yelling outloud play by commentary of her movements like she’s a sports athlete and he’s the excited announcer cheering her on

The first time she takes her first steps, he’s away on a mission. Of course he’s so proud but he’s angry and hurt he missed one of the biggest moments of his baby’s life… but the minute he warps home and the second he sees her waddling to him with the biggest gummy smile all that anger and frustration just melts away, especially when you gasp seeing her walk more than four steps without falling, and of course it is to him. He doesn’t shut up about it for MONTHS!

When she’s a little bigger and has playtime Satoru is right there with her and taking every one of her ideas very seriously! If she tells him he is a pink feathery dragon that shoots out glitter then you bet your cute ass he’s going to be the best pink feathery glitter shooting dragon ever!

He loves tea time with her and has a secret stash of cookies for them that you don’t know about cause it’s just for them!

When she learns how to make friendship bracelets the first one she makes is for him and Gojo cries when she hands him the mismatched colored beaded bracelet. He wears it EVERYWHERE! He about beats the ever living shit out of a curse user for making fun of the colorful bracelet when they see it

They for sure tag team against you because as much as she is half yours, she is still a Gojo and learns from the Gojo considered to be the best

However, when you have to leave for a trip and leave the two of them alone they are having the biggest ball for the first hour. Until they both crack and are FaceTiming you crying about how much they miss you

He dramatically sings all her favorite nursery rhyme songs to make her giggle, he also does funny voices for all her stuffed animals

He doesn’t let her win at ANYTHING video game wise because as he tells you “it’s keeping her humble”

When she tugs at his pant legs he doesn’t hesitate to kneel down to her level to speak to her eye to eye or let her whisper into his ear because they are both AWFUL gossips and noisy as hell!!! They also argue about the DUMBEST things like which digimon is best and because they’re both stubborn and ridiculous they make you pick sides!

The first time she sees a curse and cries clutching him so terrified is when Gojo swears he understands all over again why he was born to be a sorcerer, born to be the strongest. Yes it’s to protect the world but he was born to protect his world, this little stinker who sticks her tongue out at him when he eats the last bite of cake and happily grins when she gets to cuddle you and he doesn’t

Because yes you are his gravity keeping him stable and so strong, but she is his universe

You laugh and in your heart thank his coworker. So I’ve been holding onto this ask because the perfect timing of you asking about husband Javi P even before I event sent you my one shot that includes husband Javi P??? Like?? We are on an IMMACULATE WAVELENGTH I SWEAR!!!

Also because I feel so dang serious about this I am going to full depth like it’s one of my dissertation papers and I apologize SO MUCH for how long this got lmaooo so…let’s get into it lol

In Defense of Husband Javier Peña

When that lovely poll was making its rounds around on which Pedro boy has the biggest want for a housewife I had to vote for him… I just had to. And yeah it might be because I’m a Javi Girl at heart but it really is because I feel Javi would just be the most lovesick man in the world knowing he’s married, knowing he’s someone’s husband. He would treasure and cherish his spouse with his very last breath.

I imagine the possible base of how he views marriage comes from seeing his parents. Knowing how much love he witnessed built between them I feel is what Javi strives to have. But, he possibly just believes he doesn’t deserve that because he views himself as this unworthy corrupt guy who’s done bad things.

And while yes he’s made mistakes that doesn’t make him bad or evil or even a bad husband!!

When he rescues Helena the first thing he does is take off his vest to cover her. He’s tender and speaks to her with such compassion. Then later when they rescue Christina, there’s this moment when he touches her arm and then pulls her closer in the helicopter to almost protect her that just says so much!

He’s comforting and tender, probably even more than he lets on! Heck there’s even that small moment during that tense scene at the checkpoint with los pepes when he fondly pats Hugo Jr’s cheek in a reassuring manner. There’s just so many moments we see how soft he is!

So when you apply to the idea of him as a husband, can you imagine just how generous and wonderfully tender he’d be?

He probably couldn’t keep his hands off you!!! From playful winks (which we see him do so many times and they make my heart flutter every damn time) to simply wanting you in his arms, he’s a physical touch as a love language husband for sure.

Yeah he might miss a few anniversary dates or might forget to pick up a some items from the grocery store but he would extraordinarily caring and tender. And he’d be your rock in the storm and I stand by this.

(And yes I’m going to put this under a read more because I just…I have so many thoughts on this)

He’s seen so much, yet stays so kind. He would be by your side through thick and thin because that’s the type of man he is.

Alongside that, i feel having that unwavering loyal love again comes from his parents. I sadly imagine his mom passed away from an illness. And with that in mind, for Javi to see his dad stay by his mama’s side even if it got bad…I believe that became the cornerstone of how he views not just a marriage but a true deep kind of love.

He would be the exact same way with his spouse.

For better or for worse just as those vows say. And even if they didn’t Javi would just be there for you because that’s love, that’s what it is at its purest form for him.

Then I think about this one line Murphy says when Javi is about to leave back to the states. I can’t quote it exactly but it’s along the lines of “no American had given more” than Javi. He was there from the start, stayed in when it got bad and even showed how much he was willing to give of himself to fight. I know this can be argued of him being a possible workaholic but instead I think it goes back to my theory that he’s just truly so loyal.

He’s unwavering and sticks with it because that’s the type of man he is, that’s the type of husband he would be. He’s the type of husband who holds you as long as you need to when you cry, who would probably move heaven and hell for you because you’re it for him.

Javi was almost someone’s husband (which is a whole other tangent I could get on) and he probably might think maybe that time for him has passed. Or maybe he thinks because he’s done so much shit, seen so much, Javier again views himself as damaged goods who just isn’t husband material.

There’s that moment when he looks at Lorraine and her family that he pauses. He stares at them for just a second but it’s enough that we see him take this moment. I know it can be argued that it’s him just taking in the path Lorraine’s life has taken, but to me the look in his eyes is one of longing. Like he’s staring at something just out of his reach or that he’s not meant to have.

With that yearning, Javi seems like the type longing to be with someone who says yes Javier I pick you every time, I will stand by your side and be with you through it all the same way you would be for me, I see you, your scars, the darkness you hold onto, and your pure golden heart that means well and I will love you…

So when he finds you, realizes he’s gets to have that, gets to be your husband - he’s yours for life!!!! He would just get so overwhelmed at finally having that true companionship.

Yeah he would be grumpy and maybe tease you from time to time but he would be the husband who drives at midnight to go pick you up fries and a shake because you mentioned you had the munchies. He would face any of your demons with you by your side.

He’s the man who wears his wedding ring proud and probably sees you as his best friend. He’s loyal, kind, bit grumpy but tender with the biggest heart and he would hold your hand even when the sky is falling.

He knows the baby bag inside and OUT and has three back up bags already prepared just in case anything happens, and he carries every type of snack on hand

Sadly can only do one type of braid style but it’s always done so perfectly neat that his little girl loves it every time!

He talks to all her stuffed animals like they’re people and knows all the funny dynamics she has for them

Dad Daichi is a bit of a stick in the mud and will lay down the law when he needs to even when she bats her large sad puppy dog eyes at him because he just wants what is best for her ): by that doesn’t mean he’s a strict or hard dad!

If anything he’s the dad that tries to schedule a sweet lunch just with him and his baby girl when he can and it’s just the two of them and he listens to all the silly stories she comes up with when she’s little and then when she’s older he patiently hears out all her gossip

Even in the middle of autumn, on the day many believe ghost bring a chill in the air, Austin still simmers with soft heat. As you walk across the street to your neighbor’s home, the clutter and collection of Halloween decorations on the front lawn warm your heart in the best way. The skeleton you walk by playfully laughs as if to give you a reassuring cheer.

Pumpkin lights hang all over the front door. And when Joel opens the door, the autumn tones bathe him so beautifully. Joel is the most gorgeous man you’ve ever seen. Now under the amber light he is almost ethereal, like a rugged angel dressed in a black shirt. It highlights his broad shoulders and toned arms that you can't believe how one man can be this handsome.

“Hey pumpkin. You ready for tonight?” he greets with the sweetest crooked smile you want to kiss so badly.

“You bet… Nice shirt.” You grin.

In bold white horror style font his shirt reads You Can’t Scare Me, I’m a Dad.

“Oh yeah,” Joel chuckles a bit bashfully as he rubs the back of his neck. “The girls picked it out for me.”

At just the mention of his daughters, one of them screams out to him.

“Duty calls.” He sighs. “Come on in.”

Following him in, the sound of the Monster Mash fills the house. When you and Joel reach the kitchen you’re greeted by the warmest welcome. Already in their costumes, Ellie and Sarah smile excitedly at your entrance.

“You both look so good!” You genuinely mean your compliment.

Sarah looks adorable dressed as witch. You knew how hard she had been working on the costume, wanting to personalize it with her own DIY touch. She proudly shows you her witch hat and how she added the shimmery spiderwebs and cool spiders.

Then Ellie bounces in beside her sister to proudly exclaim- “Look! Sarah even did my makeup!”

Ellie’s face did indeed have touches of makeup but it made her look like a classic zombie. Splotches of green and splatters of fake blood color her face along with her costume… which is an astronaut outfit.

“Uh Ellie? Wanna explain your costume?” You ask a bit confused.

“Oh here we go.” Joel sighs rolling his eyes as he starts opening candy bags.

“I’m an Astro-zombie!” Ellie declares like it’s the most obvious thing. “I’m an astronaut that went to the moon, saw some freaky shit, and came back wrong!”

“It doesn’t make any sense but we’re humoring her.” Sarah says deadpan with a teasing grin. Ellie cries in annoyance.

The sisters quickly bickering makes you snicker as fondness burst in your chest. You’re grateful, even honored, you get to enjoy these moments with the Miller family. You happily start to help Joel unload more of the bags and tease him if five bags of candy are enough.

“You joke but this is gonna be gone in a hour!” Joel playfully argues back. As if to prove him right Sarah sneakily grabs a handful of candy from behind Joel and scurries off.

“Case in point.” He dryly comments not even having to turn around.

The door to the living room squeaks open and the voice of Tommy floats in the air. He enters into the kitchen in his regular clothes while wearing a clown nose.

“You seriously can’t be wearing that.” Joel coughs through a laugh.

“Hell yeah I am! It’s my costume!” Tommy puffs his chest out proudly.

“It’s genius.” Ellie grins proud while Sarah rolls her eyes and you try not to giggle.

“Alright you lil’ ghouls, let’s head out.” Tommy pats the backs of his nieces. His words however confuse both you and Joel.

“Wait, head out? Where? I thought we were gonna stay here and pass out candy?” Joel asks.

“Uh…yeah…about that.” Sarah begins cautiously.

“We wanna go to the Halloween dance at the school!” Her sister eagerly and readily blurts out the truth.

“We already have everything planned out.” Tommy quickly swoops in with an eased patience. He explains the plan to take the girls, stay and chaperone, then bring them home.

“And y’all waited to spring this on me tonight?” Joel sighs a bit exasperated and now you want to shrink along the walls to escape. You’ve been in the Miller house many times when arguments have sparked. But now you wonder if you should leave.

“We’ll be fine dad.” Sarah promises. “You’ll get to stay here, rest, maybe passing out candy and just…chill.” She says with an eased shrug and sleepy grin.

“Please!” Ellie drags out the ‘e’ with an exaggerated high pitch tone that Tommy joins in on. You can’t help but press your lips tight not to laugh.

Joel sighs again and waves his hand fine. “Fine fine, y’all go. More candy for us then.”

You don’t miss the way he says ‘us,’ how he includes you, how he doesn’t want you to leave even if it might just be you and him. But now as the girls and Tommy head out to leave, you start thinking maybe this was their plan all along. Especially when Ellie and Sarah both hug you tight.

“Don’t let him scare you away, okay?” Sarah reassures.

“I heard that!” Joel yells as he eats through a candy piece.

In the Texan autumn air, you watch as the collective heart of the Miller family drives off while their sturdy patriarch stands by your side. Something close to longing clogs your throat. The taste is slightly bitter and you know why. It’s because you want to experience this every year. You want be apart of them as long as you can.

“Those little troublemakers think they’re so clever.” Joel snorts and it pulls you out of your thoughts. “Leavin’ us alone together.”

“Yeah,” you laugh wearily not knowing what else’s to say. Especially when his large warm calloused hand goes to softly rest against your back. It galanzives your heart, a true exhilarating type of fright. When you turn to Joel, he’s already staring at you with the softest molten eyes. Then your eye can’t help but flicker to his lips.

Under the pale evening sky, Joel leans down and kisses you sweet, hesitant, and tender like you might melt away from him. You even taste the hint of the candy he ate. It’s pure, wonderful, and you sigh leaning into him. Joel doesn’t hesitate to pull you tighter into his arms, kissing you firmer.

“Hey Mr. Miller!” A sudden voice screams.

“Are you gonna pass out trick or treat candy or just make-out in front of your garage all night?!” A kid yells out and the words almost make you scream as you scramble away from Joel. He doesn’t let you move too far and instead keeps an arm around you.

“Just for that, I ain’t giving you any Travis!” Joel yells back fierce and you now laugh leaning against him.

“Fuckin’ ungrateful little shits.” Joel growls under his breath as he kisses your head. All you can do is grin, embarrassed but still blissfully as you enjoy this wonderful treat.

First off the color compliments his skin tone and undertones so beautifully? Like Javi needs to be in more pinks/magentas cause he looks so romantic and also damn gorgeous

And okay…I’m exposing my ass but that shirt is what I picture when I think of how of our first time you run into him at a Laredo festival or even a farmers market?

He’s just sweaty and even sort of casual in his shirt that it feels so Texas I can’t explain it but it is.

This is the shirt he wears when offering you his sunglasses because it’s hot as hell and our Javi is a Texas gentleman! He jokes how his eyes are already shot to hell so he’d rather you to wear them.

He’d be sweaty and a little self conscious but endearing about it and make jokes the entire time like-

“Shit with this heat, I’m gonna be turning into Texas BBQ out here!”

He’d split an agua fresca with you and guess your favorite flavor the entire time. He even manages to steal some ice cold watermelon for you and you joke he’s your sweaty knight in shining armor.

And when the warm sunset has melted into a warm night sky, you have to bid him goodbye. You decide to hug him and yeah he’s self conscious cause he’s thinking he’s maybe not at his best but it’s a memory you’ll always remember because it is his best.

Because yeah he is sweaty but he smells like a man. He smells like pure Javi and it’s attractive as hell to see a man not hidden behind his cologne and simply existing in the Texas heat. It’s raw and beautiful in its own way you never thought you’d appreciate.

And when he kisses you a soft sweet goodbye? That taste of him, pure salty and pure Javi goodness lingers on your lips for days and you never want it to leave..

Like it really does depend on the fic’s vibes!

I think of baseball Gojo and how all the titles of the snippets and even the big fic I have in mind are all based on baseball terms and plays! They’re simple but I love how they tie into the theme and actual core of the story!!

Then there’s other fics that are simply titled after song titles because I’m boring and basic lol 🤡

Oh Mothman Gojo 🥺 I truly mean it when I say he wouldn’t be here without you because you let me scream about it so much and workshopped it with me so much so I’ll always be grateful!!

There was a scene I wanted to add actually! After you and Gojo become intimate, he tries following you into the bathroom but is too big to fit in the shower so you have to kick him out and he makes a full fuss about it where you eventually lock him outside the bathroom only for him to paw at the door like some sad cat lol

I loved the idea to show how silly he still is but I just felt like it dragged on the time together when I wanted to jump into the danger that immediately came with becoming so close to Gojo 🌩️

So what inspired me to write him oh man lol …I guess it was the whole “cryptid boyfriend” talk that comes and thinking of how that so greatly applies to Gojo, yeah he’s gorgeous and powerful and suave in his own way but he’s also a terrifying force and kind of a freak LOL

And mothman honestly is my favorite cryptid so it worked out ☺️
