been interesting to see a good few big japanese game dev studios go on record about internal preservation efforts (iirc at least in capcom's case it's usually due to younger staff coming in and finding older materials...?) and then seeing that internal preservation start making rounds outside of the studio (in this case why you've been seeing some collections of older stuff from companies) in the form of those pop-up museums in japan and it's not sjust like art and shit on display we're talking design documents, behind the scenes footage, art bibles etc

So there’s a trend going round where you draw Miku inspired by your own culture and normally I just sit those out bc i’m from England but then the image of her covered in fake tan with the full chav makeup and sloppily bleached blue pigtails popped into my head and i almost threw up laughing.
