sorry i'm being emo i just think a lot about how dr thompkins apologized to bruce when she found out bane wasn't his brother and how bane wanted to stay and fight batman after saving him because he doesn't know any other way to be a part of his life and he wants to be a part of his life but nobody else wants him in bruce's life and he doesn't know if bruce even wants him there but being his brother would have made it an obligation to them both because they don't have any other living relatives and I just think about how they both found comfort in the idea that they could have each other for family but neither of them knew how to deal with that without the obligation because that's insane bane's done so much harm but hey he can be a rehabilitation project so bats offered him help and bane is so proud but he took it because he WANTS to be better he just genuinely does not know HOW but he waNTS TO trY and I JUST LOVE THEM YOUR HONOR
