She's my best friend and I'll forever love her with everything I have

We often messed around and we were always together, no 9ne ever saw us apart. We did everything together, like shopping, going to the park and amusement parks together just for her to be terrified of going on my favorite rollercoasters. It was like a perfect friendship.

We were like midnight and sunshine, she listened to me rant on about my day, she would be the only person to run after me when I mentioned doing something stupid. She was my grounding and I was her escape for her same day life. It was perfect.

At least it was, now I stand behind her, holding back tears as she is stuck in shock. The cold metal of my gun against the back of her head.

Is all I said, I had to do this. I didn't want to but fate was the same in every universe. I had been in this position multiple times in different universes.... Why ? Why did it have to be us to suffer this fate? Why must we indure this, why can we not be together without it ending the same?

“kids spend too much time on their devices” well what else are they supposed to do? there’s no corner shops with pinball machines in them on every corner anymore. there’s no malls or stores in small towns for teens to hang out in without being suspected of shoplifting or kicked out for loitering. sidewalks are too broken for them to ride their bikes and there’s no bike lane in the street to make it safe for them. i just don’t understand where they expect these kids to go when they keep taking places away from them. and yes having no safe public places for them is what leads a lot of teens into addiction if they end up at a place where people aren’t truly looking out for them.
