From Pluralpedia Terms
************************************************
FavouritePersontive or FPtive is an introject of a BPD favorite person. The FavouritePersontive may be part of a BPD system, or a BPDbasedsystem. They may be considered factives.
FavouritePersontive was coined to be exclusive to systems/individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder.
************************************************
Splitorma is a term for a headmate who originated from a borderline personality disorder (BPD) splitting episode, where the emotional turmoil causes a headmate to form.
Due to the nature of its formation, this term is exclusive to those who experience BPD splits.
************************************************
BPDform refers to a thoughtform that began as a BPD persona and/or part; an adaptive non-permanent thoughtform caused by borderline personality disorder (BPD).
Typically characterized by a sense of disconnection from self that is more extreme than typical personas or parts, as well as having re-occurring and distinct identities from the original.
************************************************
Nebugenic is a term that describes the origin of median systems, sisasystems, or headmatesthat formed due to identity disturbance. A lack of a stable identity caused the formation of facets/medianmates. It could be considered a subtype of neurogenic.[1]
Identity disturbance is common in Borderline Personality Disorder. A median BPD system who formed due to identity disturbance could consider themselves to be nebugenic.
************************************************ BPDplex is a plurplex term that means that Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) effects the entire system (or subsystem, layer, etc.). It doesn’t have to be in the same way, it just has to affect everyone[1].
************************************************
A BPDbased system is heavily influenced by having Borderline Personality Disorder, with it possibly affecting the innerworld, headmateroles, or the headmates themselves, but isn't a system origin. For BPDbased systems, this can mean that the system has a very low stress tolerance leading to more splits in general, more persecutors, more sexual headmates, more headmates who struggle with self harm, more fragments, and BPDforms.
************************************************
A BPD system is one whose creation is influenced by Borderline Personality Disorder.A BPD system may, but not always, present as a mediansystem.[1]

Why do factive introject in DID subtypes need to have pseudomemories and fake having the life of someone else or celebrity for example, why it happens in my brain I want to understand why, do you know about it? /genq
That actually is a very weird question! (The last one.) LOL!
You know, for the first question, you might want to check out my old theory about where I believe headmates come from.
The basics is that I believe many people naturally have the ability to create mental simulations of other people. These simulations, when coupled with repeated interaction and dissociation, can break off and become autonomous headmates.
I think this is why pseudomemories exist. If you want to predict what a person will do, you need a simulation that's as smart as a person. You also need it somewhat autonomous to be able to work subconsciously. I think most people have the capacity to create these sorts of simulations. But in the case of introjects, I believe those simulations have become self-aware.
That's my own theory anyway. That most introjects are predictive algorithms gone rogue. Like rogue AI, but because it's in the human brain, it's not artificial. It's just an intelligent agent.
So if your brain made a predictive simulation of a serial killer, it makes sense that simulation would have pseudomemories to match. It needs those to be able to predict the source.
But then the simulation becomes intelligent and more autonomous and the memories remain. This could also explain developing paraphilias if the source had one. It would be your brain trying to create something to simulate someone with a certain paraphilia. And then when the simulation becomes self-aware, it retains those qualities. And they can even influence you through passive influence.
Does that make sense?
That's my theory at least. There's not much research at all into the formation of introjects that I've been able to find. They're acknowledged to exist in academic sources, but not enough questions are asked about why they exist.

Valid Systems
There’s a few types of systems that are deemed “invalid” or “fake” by a certain crowd. We’re here to tell you that they’re all real, important and valid.
Endogenic (and all subtypes). Endogenic systems are completely real, as are similar origins and subtypes of endogenic systems. Endogenic systems, contrary to popular belief, aren’t “systems without trauma”, either--they’re systems where the cause wasn’t trauma. Stop claiming they don’t have trauma. While we’re at it, they’re not all systems who don’t remember their trauma, either. Stop trying to force trauma memories onto people, that causes a lot of issues such as remembering trauma too early, or false memories.
Large or polyfragmented systems. I don’t get why this one is fakeclaimed, especially for traumagenic systems with high member counts. Polyfragmented traumagenic systems have been documented to exist, and with created systems, you can make as many headmates as you’d like. Sometimes, people just end up with a lot of headmates, one way or another, and that’s fine.
Systems under the age of 18. Sometimes people have awareness of their systems before the age of 18 and that’s okay. That said, older systems who discovered themselves much later in life are also real and important.
Gateway and other spiritual systems. Spirituality is a personal experience and if someone’s system is spiritual, that’s perfectly fine. The DSM even mentions that there are systems that don’t qualify for DID because they’re based on religion or cultural practices: “The disturbance is not a normal part of a broadly accepted cultural or religious practice.” Sure, that means they don’t have DID, but it still acknowledges plurality outside of DID.
Fictive/factive heavy systems, even from recent media. For traumagenic systems, when your brain finds comfort in something, you tend to get them as a headmate because a system for those people is a coping mechanism. Even recent media fictives/factives are valid, because you can split again after you split in the first place.
Systems with members that have typing quirks. Sometimes it’s just a comfort thing, sometimes it’s a thing from source, sometimes it’s just the way they type. For some, it’s as involuntary as having an accent. Leave people with typing quirks alone, it literally doesn’t harm anyone.
Systems with members that use neopronouns. There’s nothing wrong with neopronouns, literally. Like with the last point, they’re not hurting anyone, leave them alone.
Neurodivergent systems. I’m sorry but if you’re using someone’s neurodivergency as a reason for why they’re “fake”, that’s just ableism.
Systems that talk about their experiences. Sometimes, people want to stand up for themselves, Karen.
Systems that don’t talk about their experiences. Sometimes peoples experiences are personal, and none of your business. It’s that simple.
Systems who have a positive relationship with the fact they’re a system. Being a system can be a pain, but it can also be very rewarding. There’s nothing wrong with enjoying being a system or having support from your headmates.
Systems who have communication with their headmates. Even in DID systems you can sometimes work on the barriers between headmates to enable better communication. Healthy multiplicity is definitely a thing.
Basically, anyone that says they’re a system. You don’t get to decide who is real and who isn’t. It’s none of your business and you’re not the person’s psychologist.
No matter what other people say about you, you know your experiences better than them. You’re real. You’re not faking unless you’re consciously doing it, no matter what anyone says about you. No one online is qualified to tell you what you are or aren’t.

whats an introject?
An introject is an alter that takes the form of something that already exists, to put it as simply as I can! The type of introject most talked about online is a fictive, which is an alter that takes the form of a fictional character An introject is not always a 1:1 replica of their source! Sometimes they will not identify with it at all, in my case I only somewhat do I don't remember all of the other introject subtypes but I also know of factives (taking the form of a real person) and fucktives (an introject who's source's fiction vs reality is blurry. ex: many mcyt introjects!)
I take the form of Wally Darling, which makes me a fictive ! I am still my own being rather than a character, but I feel connected enough to that source that I consider my identity as a fictive significant
I hope this helped !!

Terminology
Here is a bit of a list of general terms used in the plural community. Some of these terms are more flexible than I’ve written here, and I am not an expert.
PTSD - Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
cPTSD - Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, although not technically yet recognized as a separate diagnosis from PTSD, the symptoms do differ and it is generally used to describe prolonged instances of trauma experiences.
Depersonalization - Feeling detached or distant from the self, can sometimes be described as an out of body experience and may include identity confusion.
Derealization - Feeling detached or distant from reality, feeling confused or uncertain about what is real.
Dissociation - An overall feeling of detachment or absence mentally and/or emotionally. This can often come with depersonalization and/or derealization, and the experience of dissociation can differ between people and between experience within a person.
Dissociative Amnesia - can also be referred to as losing time, it is generally a period of time during which a person may have difficulty recalling information about themself, and event, or a certain period of time that has passed, beyond general forgetfulness and where it cannot be explained by alcohol or drug use.
DID - Dissociative Identity Disorder (Previously known as Multiple Personality Disorder, but that has been out of professional usage for a few decades now) is a trauma-based disorder, heavily tied with PTSD and cPTSD. Symptoms include dissociation, different internal identities, identity confusion, and dissociative amnesia. How people experience these symptoms will differ from person to person.
OSDD - Other Specified Dissociative Disorder, generally a diagnosis made when a person presents with some but not all the requirements of DID. This diagnosis comes with several subtypes. Often this means that there are separate identities without dissociative amnesia, or there is dissociation/dissociative amnesia without separate identities.
DDNOS - Dissociative Disorder Not Otherwise Specified, a diagnosis that may be used when a person presents with a dissociative disorder that does not meet the requirements to be categorized into another specific subtype.
System - Often people who experience plurality will describe themselves as a system, as a group of people within a physical body that do their best to coexist together.
Alter - Short for alternate personality, it is a general way of describing different internal members of a system.
Headmate/System Member - An alternative way of referring to alters, as not all systems prefer to use the word alter. There may be several variations of this type of term.
Introject - Generally meaning to replicate behaviors, attitudes, attributes, and so on in the surrounding world. Within the context of plurality, an introject is formed when these introjection behaviors heavily or completely form the identity of an alter.
Fictive - Fictional introject, usually taken from media the person with DID consumed such as a book, movie, tv, etc.
Factive - Non-fictional introject, an introjection of a person who exists in real life. This term is often used to describe non-fictional introjects of famous or well-known individuals.
Fictionkin - A person or alter feeling a strong connection and identity kinship with a fictional character. This term is similar to fictive, and so within plural communities they may be used with some fluidity. This term is not specific to the plural community.
Inner World - May also be referred to as the headspace or some other variation. It is a visualization of the internal world in which the alters reside, particularly when they are not fronting. Inner worlds can be fluid and can change. Not all systems or plurals have an inner world.
Switch - An alter taking over control of the physical body from another alter.
Trigger - Generally used to describe something that can set of a PTSD reaction and/or potential switch within the system. There is also the possibility of positive triggers, in which an alter is triggered to come out through something they have positive associations with rather than traumatic or negative associations.
Cofront - When two or more alters are able to be conscious, aware of what is happening, and in control of the physical body.
Coconscious - Also referred to as co-con. When two or more alters are able to be conscious and aware of what is happening in the physical body, but not necessarily be in control of the body.
Blending/Blurring - Being uncertain of who is around, who is conscious, who is fronting, and who is providing passive influence. This can vary in degree and often comes with feelings of dissociation.
Split - A new alter or part forming, often due to extreme stress or a traumatic event/events, though it can also seem as though splits occur without prompt also.
Fusion/Integration - Two or more alters coming together and forming a new alter. Full integration/fusion would be the system forming one cohesive person with no barriers or separate parts. This is often stated as the end goal of healing, but is not the only option.
Functional Multiplicity - The concept of a multiple system existing as a cohesive unit having been healed from the suffering of PTSD/cPTSD and trauma. This is often stated as an alternative end goal for healing compared to fusion/integration.
Endogenic - Also may refer to natural systems, these are plurals or systems who believe they were not formed due to trauma or that plurality is their natural state. For further thoughts on endogenic systems, see here.
Singlet/Singleton - A person who does not experience plurality.
Let me know if I need to correct or add anything!
Much love

Hello Can i Ask you some neopronoms for hoodie (creepypasta) and laughing jack (creepypasta)?
we are still looking for what we are so Can i ask you what introject' mean if it's okay ?
Very sorry, but I do not do multiple characters at once! Please send in separate asks.
For your question, an Introject is a subtype of alter that can be formed by people with OSDD/DID! they are alters that resemble things outside the system.
These can be anything; animals, objects, even real people or fictional characters (which are known as factives and fictives respectively)
Some systems have none, others are filled entirely with them.
Like any other alter, they can't control what or who they are, they are their own people who deserve respect no matter what.
Note that as these are types of alters, you can not be an introject without being part of a system.
If you want more information on systems and introjects, you should check out this and this!
