Any of your guys have a Flickchart?
I’ve recently started playing with it again. Really makes you think about how you actually feel about movies vs. other movies.
My rankings are far from perfect but the overall gist is there. I feel like the lower quarter needs work. Too many meh movies ranked too low in with the truly awful films. And there are some movies ranked too high.
One problem I have is that there’s just too many movies I haven’t rewatched in the last decade. So my list of movies can’t really match the huge amount of movies I’ve seen. And most of the worst movies I’ve watched weren’t memorable so I... didn’t bother remembering them.
And there’s stuff in a series (like 3 Ninjas) where I definitely watched them as a kid but now they all just blend together because I haven’t seen them since the 90s.
Anyhow, if you have a flickchart feel free to friend me there... if you want.

As usual I'm already pregaming my annual Halloween movie marathon. So far I've watched The Craft (1996) for the first time. I give it an 8 out of 10. And Attack the Block (2011) also for the first time. Really fucking good! 10 out of 10!

Flickchart Road Trip: Bernie | Flickchart: The Blog
Welcome back to the Flickchart Texas BBQ Road Trip! This time we’re headed to a small, idyllic East Texas town to cover a local favorite and one whose reputation has placed it in the Texas Top 50. We also mark the half-way point (technically over halfway now, as not all 50 spots are still open) of our journey. We’re off to Jefferson and Joseph’s Riverport Bar-B-Que! Just like nearby Tyler,…

If I had the know-how I’d make a flickchart for Magic cards
flickchart is a site that lets you rank movies by showing you two (like movie posters) and then you pick your favorite of those. the winner gets ranked above the loser (or retains its current rank if the loser is lower or unranked for you)
eventually you’ve got a ranked list of all your favorite movies and the site can compile a bunch of individual user lists to determine global rankings, as well as then break those down by genre or year or whatever

Episode 149: Robots Wearing Fish Floaties
Episode 149: Robots Wearing Fish Floaties
Welcome back to Podvocacy!
This week, we’re back with a regular episode…sort of.
With Jason having been on vacation, he gives us a run down of his trip to the outer banks of North Carolina. David didn’t do anything, really. The guys have a brief discussion about the Kelly Marie Tran situation, and plug the latest episode of Yakko Yaks, from friend of the show Jeremy Dennis.
There is no TV…

Episode #29 - But The Handcraftedness
Feeling walked all over by The Walking Dead, Mitch needs his traumatic TV deaths to be real and permanent - he definitely should not attempt to watch Supernatural any time soon.
Speaking of SPN, Natalie is feeling some frustration with storytelling in general - or rather, the growing lack of trust that audiences seem to have in the structure of serialized work - you’ve gotta be willing to wait for it! Especially, it seems, when one Jeffrey Dean Morgan plays and integral role.
And we’re back on Broadway once again, bemoaning the limitations of live theater and the pros and cons of the filmed productions.
But right now, ‘tis the season to watch Hallmark, in all its snowy, sexless, save-the-business small town glory. Brittany is on a Christmas movie bender, and we discuss the safety net that this kind of programming provides. It’s delicious comfort food, as is this year’s new release of Queer Eye. While we still remember the original series, we are so grateful that the new Fab Five are here to save us all.
And the precious artform of 2D animation, particularly in the style of Studio Ghibli, leads to another conversation about the shifting scope of television and what that means for content creators.

I'm looking over my movie rankings on Flickchart and I have come to a conclusion:
More people need to see One Cut of the Dead! Seriously, if you can handle some blood & gore, don't find out anything about this movie, just go watch it. It's so good!
