My goals for this week

This is my final week for developing before i move into my presentation week, ill need to finish off a few things before i am able to present my work

Things i need to develop - Minimal, possibly with enemies or without. this wont take long so i will create this quickly tomorrow.

Ill also need to look at some other UI things, such as a start screen. Ill use an AI tool to create the logo for the game and ill present that also.

Other things i need to do - Finish off some Blog work, Making sure all of my posts are tagged correctly and all of that. Ill then post some playtesting work soon because i have done some playtesting, but i haven't posted it yet.

This is my final week and ill need to focus on completing all of the tasks i have set for myself this week.

Hardly gonna be much of a break when I'm churning Afterburn 8.1 out best I can 💀 It's like a bomb exploded in one of the scenes and I have to re-write something otherwise it won't be as impactful.

Speaking of which, I was asking for Funko scenes again (I have an upcoming Wenovan set) and the AI gave me reality

This is pretty damn close to the big scene in 8.3 (which is still a little ways off but once 8.1 is out it should start rolling faster). Maybe if I can get the AI to listen to my commands better I can do even more with the multimedia that goes along with Afterburn.

forever is a long time

for a very long time i just never knew what i was going to do

for as long as i can remember, i was going to be independent and take nothing from no one

for way too long i always fought with people with things that i wanted and if i didn't get it, i shut down but accepted

for me personally, i wish i was able to block people out and continue with life as if nothing bothered me, because then it wouldn't bother me

for me to say that i am able to cut someone off and have it mean nothing is a lie

for i am the type of person who feels conflicted when someone is crossing the line and uncomfortable telling them that

for too long i have let my thoughts fester and boil and overshadow everything that matters...

Goals for the next 2 weeks

Looking at the final weeks of my project, i need to change around how i present my project, starting with the outcome. I am going to present my game as a showcase, ready for someone to use the drone and the guns in their own game, as a showcase project.

Some things i will need to add for this to work

start screen and explanation

arena decorations, like a tutorial explaining what the drone is doing

These are both pretty simple to implement into the game, i should be able to complete this over the next week, starting with the arena decorations tomorrow and possibly the start screens and over the next week i can start to finish off the project

Ill need to do some more research that i planned on doing over easter, i will do these in the evenings of college days and the weekends too.
