I’ve always wondered,

How do you plan your ocs designs :o??

Do they randomly pop up in your head or inspiration?

Oy, character designs?

Well, I do have more than just one way.

First is, of course, the idea that just suddenly pops up in my head and I like it so much that I make a character out of it.

Second is inspiration from other artists around me. Sometimes I find such amazing ocs that I can't but make something similar.

Third is more for game projects or in cases I help someone with it. Then all I need it just to know the personality and well.. Vibes?.. Of the character and sketching a few to make a final one is way easier like that. Even fun actually.

And four is that sometimes I use real people I know as a small reference. And not only people, but even objects or clothes that I find can give me that kind of ideas.

And last one, five, is pretty much pony/dergun town. It has so many accessories and all that! It's perfect for character design! x)

That's also how my dear Forlood was made up. He actually had a beta version that was green and well.. Weird. So after I was told that as a demon he should be darker and all that I just went up there and made him just fine. 👌

It's very interesting and I honestly love designing characters. That's also why I have so many ocs. I literally can't stop myself from creating new ones, aaaa help xd

Which also reminds me some old ocs where finally given proper designs, so I might share those later if anyone is interested ^^
