Keefe + pet names

okay but imagine, keefe finds out about human terms of endedearment Ex: My love, Darlin’, sweetheart And he LOVES them. he become determinded to find all of the human pet names every and call sophie every. single. one. at least once.  

 Can you just imagine keefe calling sophie surgar-plum and then asking her what a sugar-plum is. because he could not for the life of him figure that one out. The closest thing he got was a plum, which do not at all look or taste like sugar!!

I’m going to be completely honest I didn’t even realize that there was a romance plot line until the book Fitz and Sophie got together. (I started reading them when you could build up a romance plot excellently and I still wouldn’t realize it was happening until they kissed)

It’s that time of year again where I read one book from the KOTL series.

the level difference between Sophie's feelings for Fitz and her feelings for Keefe. When Fitz tells Sophie he wants to kiss her during their sessions, Sophie's mind fills with searing heat and freezing cold. The scorching heat represents Sophie's love for Fitz and the coldness represents disgust (we can see the disgust she has because she feels like she would vomit on him). When Fitz says Keefe's name, Sophie's warmth (love) is so strong that it burns out Fitz's neurons. She is like a sun. I think it shows who Sophie loves the most.

I happen to be a die-hard Keeper of the Lost Cities fan, it was my favorite series when I was younger and I still love it. Right now, I’m rereading Neverseen, and god I’m more conflicted than ever on what the op ship is. I used to be team fitzphie,  but that was before Legacy and Unlocked, whereas I am now on team fosterkeefe.

Sophie woke up to a scream. She couldn't tell who it was, but she didn't like it. She quickly sat up, to realize the screams were her own. Grady, Edaline, and Sandor, her goblin bodyguard, rushed in.

"Are you okay? Where's the threat?" asked Sandor in his high, squeaky voice. He pointed his spear frantically all around him. Sophie could see the worry on her parents' faces.

"It's okay Sandor, the only threat around here are my nightmares," she replied reluctantly. The second those words came out of her mouth, her parents ran over and crushed her with a bear hug. Sandor quietly exited the room.

"Would you... like to talk about it?" asked Edaline, after a while of just sitting there and crushing her. Sophie looked at both of her parents. She could see that they didn't really want to talk about it. She's been having nightmares pretty frequently, ever since her first year here in the Elven World. She didn't want to worry her parents even more, so she simply replied, "No." She noticed that they let out a breath of relief.

"Well," said Grady, while giving Sophie one last squeeze before he got off her bed. "Breakfast is ready when you are, kiddo. Come down as soon as you're ready."

"Or, you could eat here if you like," said Edaline, giving her daughter a kiss on her head as she got up. Sophie really didn't want to get up, but she knew she had to.

"No, it's okay. I'll come to eat with you guys downstairs. I'll just be a few minutes." she replied.

"Of course," Grady and Edaline chimed. They all shared a look and started laughing. Before both of her parents left her room, Grady said to hurry up because he didn't want to eat a cold breakfast.

Sophie smiled while she watched her parents walked down the stairs, laughing. It made her feel good inside. Yes, it took a long time for Havenfield to finally feel like home, but it was worth it.

When her parents reached the bottom, she closed the door and practically dashed to her imparter. Even though it was just a dream or a nightmare, in this case, she had to be sure. She could not lose him again. Not this time, she told herself.
