at the point in allergy season where i used a sick day today because i can’t stop sneezing and i don’t feel like having to hide it from the general public or my coworkers…do i feel ridiculous taking a sick day for hayfever? yes. is it the biggest relief not having to hold back or stifle at all and just sneeze as much as i want (and NEED) for the day? also yes.

Now it makes me kind of sad that I probably won't make much art (if any) because my self-insert lore for this was really funny

#💬 rory rambles #at least to me #you see. since I whacked myself because of THIS GOOBER in real life #I'd decided that my S/I happened to be able to encounter him solely because of a head injury #she's a dimension hopper (fictional worlds). I don't know how strict or lax the lore is around that stuff in Doctor Who but regardless #she was trying to travel but got hit real hard on the head during the process and it got messed up #since to reach a certain destination she has to think about the exact piece of fiction and her concentration was disturbed so uh #she does not know where the fuck she is or how she got there #and also she immediately lost her amulet #which is what helps her travel between worlds. so she's stranded concussed and VERY distressed #originally I was gonna have her break into the theater for shelter but since they locked it so tight... and I never saw windows...#idk how realistically that could happen #if it did she would've been clueless and easier to manipulate into trust than The Doctor. plus she's confused anyway #failing that. it would've been post-episode's events and he notices her in his omnipresent light form and decides to appear to her #because how could the magical beaming event of an interdimensional hop NOT catch the eye of the god of light #she's a little bit interesting for that #and then things develop from there. also he would've been a little shit probably knowing EXACTLY where her amulet is #since he sees all that the light touches #but he would keep this information from her because if she found it she would leave and he's not done playing around yet #helping her search with tips that keep her off-course and acting like he's oh so invested and helpful #that feels like him alright

Hey so I'm not really gonna answer this beyond 1) I don't really use Tumblr for debates/arguments about inflammatory topics and 2) I'm purposely ignorant to the entire outrage surrounding AI art because there are too many things demanding "action" and "engagement" from the general public on any given day at this point that I literally have zero left in the tank.

I'm not defending AI art but I'm literally just saying it's not one of the things that "enrage" me as of late. I'm more worried about things going on in my personal life and the current political climate of the US rn tbh and I come here to Tumblr to be horny about fictional characters because that's a better coping mechanism than drinking myself into a stupor or taking bong rip after bong rip to the face.

That being said I subscribe to artists on patreon that create their own art and will always 100% support artists who draw for a living.

finally got a real laptop!! I can type on documents now without everything stopping

#whatever new policies the district has been trying the past few weeks have made the school “laptops” completely fucking unusable #they banned every extension including the offline document editor and adblock #allowed them again by the end of the day #banned them again #and now one in every 5 google searches gets blocked because it flagged something somewhere #and it didn’t allow you to add a different google account. so no way to ever actually get the information from the search #did i mention. that. what i had been working with the whole year was #it takes 10x longer to type because it’s so slow and every time i switch tabs there’s a 5% chance it messes up and loses everything #that was still within the range of what i considered usable #my best friend saw me trying to work on the Assignment once and he was like what didn’t you used to have two windows open at once #with a ton of tabs in each one a couple years ago?? how much worse did the school laptops get?? you should consider getting a real laptop??#anyway it’s so refreshing being able to. do basic computer things without difficulty #only issue was that i had to fix the fucked up trackpad settings. but it works fine now #my posts

Fun fact for those of you who might not know, if you have windows 10 and you hate that Search shows search results from the Internet instead of just whats on your computer, you can turn that setting off

Its through the registry keys, so if you can't or don't wanna touch that, this wont work for you lol

i also cannot guarantee this is *safe* exactly

im a chronic messer arounder, and ill dick around with shit on my computer frequently, but i have 0 actual computer knowledge ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

all i can say is that it works and so far ive noticed nothing bad
