Alexander Akhigbe, is the Founder/CEO of African Clean Up Initiative (ACI); a not-for-profit organisation poised towards raising Environmentally Responsible Citizens across Africa. He also holds an Honorary Doctorate Degree from London Bridge Business School. Akhigbe’s passion for the Peace movement in the nation led him to serve as the Country Coordinator (Nigeria) for Africa Peace Festival that was held in Ghana where he led 10 delegates from Nigeria to attend the Africa Peace Festival in Ghana in 2012. He also led delegates from Nigeria to attend the Let’s Do It West Africa Clean-Up Conference, in Ghana in 2011 and the West Africa Regional Clean-up Conference in Cotonou, Benin Republic in 2012. ALEXGREAT has been honoured with the following awards/recognition amongst others for his contributions to Community Development, Nation Building and Environmental Sustainability: • Award of Recognition for humanitarian responsibility and immense contributions to humanity 2013 by Life Changers Foundation • Africa Peace Prize Award held in Ghana – 2015 • Mindset Media Award on the Most Enterprising Environmentalist of the year 2017 • Service to Humanity Award at the Connect conference in 2018 • Rotaract Club of Ikoyi Award of Excellence 2018 • Certificate of Service Award for Contribution to National Development through Service - 2019 • Humanity Champion Award by GAJ in 2021.   Akhigbe is blessed with an exceptional and amazing wife and they are both blessed with lovely children.
