Scored an unused gen 4 MOS slide and decided to make this my main Glock dot gov for the gov classes. I use an eps carry on my Staccato so I wanted to keep it the same and the size for the G19 is perfect for concealment.

I used a plate and screws from @chpws which I would highly recommend for any MOS slide to optic mounting.

1&2) plate with posts that hold RDS to plate (right) and correct length screws that hold plate to slide

3&4) I red loctite the screws that hold the plate to the slide and blue loctite the screws that hold the RDS to the plate. Either can be loosened easily by holding a soldering iron to the screw or a quality heat gun.

5) replaced front sight and blue loctite

6) replaced rear sight …….I’m not sure the Ameriglo sight numbers but these are POA/POI at 25 and are just tall enough to see through the window.

I’ll be using this for multiple gov jobs for the next few months as well as any OE classes and I’ll post the performance.

The Guns of John Wick Made the Rounds in Indy (PHOTOS)

Lots of guns seen in the upcoming John Wick installment were in attendance at the NRA Annual Meetings last week in Indianapolis.

Glock‘s booth featured several firearms seen in John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, on loan from Xtreme Props & Weapons Rentals in Simi Valley, California.

Other guns included Halle Berry’s Glock G19 Taran Tactical Innovations Combat Master.

Berry plays Sofia, an assassin and a close friend of John Wick who has become “Management.”

Also on hand was a more or less stock G19X used by Wick and a G34 MOS with RMR carried by Berry in the film.

Going further back in the series, Wick’s G34 Taran Tactical Combat Master from JW2 was in the same case

Meanwhile, over at the Safariland booth, they were showing off a Vault III package, one of just 10 in existence. Each contains an STI 2011 Combat Master, a TTI Glock 34 Combat Master, a TTI Ultimate MPX, and a TTI Ultimate Benelli 3-Gun– as well as a “used” No. 2 pencil.

How much for just the pencil?

JW3 is set to release May 17 but to help fill in the time until then, the Guns.com crew visited with Taran Tactical to get the scoop on the long-slide worthy of Mr. Wick, below.
