Hi....If you don't mind, can I ask, what are your top 10 (or top 7) favorite media (can be books/ manga/ anime/movies/tv series)? Why do you love them? Sorry if you've answered this question before......Thanks....

Thanks for asking! I have a lot of favorites but narrowing them down to ten will be a challenge. I will try though!

Number one may be of shock but it was the first movie I remember loving as a kid, and even now, I can watch it in different languages and STILL understand what is going on purely from memory! Now I also didn't include My Hero Academia in this, although I have been obsessed with it lately, and that is purely because I actually have not read or watched it yet! I have gotten my knowledge and love for it through osmosis and fervent research!

Gundam Wing was the first anime that I fell in love with, and Endless Waltz was the first anime movie I watched and bought. Naruto/Shippuden was my first obsession, and the source material for my first fanon Yaoi ship.

The Hobbit was my first full-length novel. I read it in the 4th grade, and after taking a test on it, I got 17/20 questions right, which was a surprise for my teachers!

MDZS and TGCF are the first Danmei/Donghua I got into, and that was literally about 6 months ago!

There are plenty of other media I like. The Magic School Bus was my favorite cartoon growing up. Then there is Emergency (circa 1970's). I like the Alien franchise a lot. Mobile Suit Gundam SEED is another anime I love. I am also a big fan of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives from the Food Network. Card Captor Sakura is good to watch. There are countless others, the ones I listed are simply the most influential ones to the person I am now.

Remember in episode 47, when Duo is looking for Heero and Relena, and walks into a room where it looks like two people are having sex. He's shocked at what he found but it turns out the reason he is shocked is not that he walked in on Heero and Relena but because he found the scientists, case solved right?

Well, this is official art for episode 47.

This artwork is from the "Gundam Wing Encyclopedia" which is also where "Chronicle of the After Colony Era" comes from, so it's very official. It has a summary of every episode and an official art piece to reflect what happens. This is the artwork for Episode 47.

There's a scene afterwards where Heero is redressing and it's even framed in a way that makes it seem they're both putting clothes back on. It turns out they're changing into astro suits but the way it's done right after the "Duo walking in on them jumpscare" makes it imply something really did happen, or at least the writers want us to think something did. Even if it wasn't what Duo walked in on, there was something going on elsewhere on Libra.

Duo and Quatre even joke before this episode, that there's no point going with Heero to rescue Relena because "they'd only get in the way".

The lyrics to Just Communication even have the theme of spending the night together in a true moment of peace amongst the chaos of war.

The song literally describes the picture above with them "gazing painfully, intensely"

"Rythym Emotion", the second opening song, also has "Lithely accepting the moment with my bare skin, I want to find more gentleness".

"White Reflection" is the theme song for the "Endless Waltz" OVAs, but still has the subject matter.

Hikaru Midorikawa (voice of Heero) even did a cover of this song 💖.

There's also a scene in the Preventers 5 radio drama where the other pilots are asking Heero just how far he's gotten with Relena to which Heero uses spy vs spy tactics to avoid the question, even getting flustered when asked XD. It's crack and definitely not a real scenario for the boys lol but it's still considered canon character interpretations as it was written by the anime writers, includes the voice actors and is included in the Japanese Blu-ray Collection.

So, I'm not saying something definately happened between Heero and Relena in episode 47, but something went down and it wasn't Libra.

I came across this Gundam Wing scan and the content in the pink boxes was so cute I couldn’t pass up on translating them. I’m not sure where this is from but it’s advertising the HD remaster Memorial Box version of GW, specifically Part 3 which contained Endless Waltz. I originally planned to scanlate it but it was too much work and I’m lazy.

Essentially they introduce the boys, what’s usually on their minds, and also has a tip on how to pursue them/win them over/get their attention??? Which I found SUPER amusing because even the magazine is like “uh, good luck lmao”

For example this is Heero’s:

Case: Heero There’s nothing in his head other than missions, and once he starts working, there is no room for other people. However, he’s become much softer than when he did nothing but fight and follow orders, and can be seen smiling more than before.

Brain analysis: 100% MISSIONS.

How to win him over: It’ll be a difficult time with a tough opponent in Relena. But just keep applying pressure like she does!

Case: Duo The type of person who prioritises his private life over missions, but he gets the job done. One of his strongest points is his ability to always face forward and take on any foe, like the time he forced his way through the Mariemaia army with only his own body, even without a Gundam.

Brain analysis: 30% missions, 70% private

How to win him over: First, it’s important to get his attention by being friendly. After you get to know each other to some extent, pursue forcefully aggressively! ⭐️

Case: Trowa After the war, he returned to the circus and lives a peaceful life. He’s taciturn, but gentle, and he specialises in infiltrating the enemy to strike from within rather than from the front.

Brain analysis: 70% the circus, 30% training

How to win him over: He enjoys his work as a clown, so you should get close to him through his workplace.

Case: Quatre Because of his kind nature, which makes him put others before himself, people naturally follow him. However, he also has a stubborn side, and despite other’s objections, he single-handedly carried out the dangerous task of retrieving the Gundam he had sent into the sun.

Brain analysis: 33.3% work, 33.3% friends, 33.3% peace

How to win him over: He often stands above overs in a leadership position, so you’ll be sure to get him if you can talk to him from the same perspective.

Case: Wufei Wufei always analyses himself to determine what is right in the world. His thoughts are preoccupied by himself and his beloved machine, Nataku. His love for his Gundam is so deep that he is the only one among the five who did not give it up.

Brain analysis: 50% training, 25% self-discipline, 25% Nataku

How to win him over: If you treat him seriously and start conversations by talking about Nataku, you’ll have a winning hand.

With the exception of Quatre, the others just have this “they’re so weird but I mean, they’re getting better/nice/passionate--oh, you’re interested??? uh, okay... good luck i guess...” vibe LMAO I wonder what the ‘private’ section of Duo’s brain includes.... honestly could be anything.

Hi I'm actually looking for a series, I think it was posted on gw addiction but I'm having trouble finding it. It starts with wufei being in love with duo but also sleeping with heero, then after the war heero and duo get together. They have wufei join their relationship after endless waltz. Eventually they meet heero's mother and it turns out she did experiments on their mothers. She finds a way for men to get pregnant and wufei, duo and trowa all have babies. Quatre and trowa's son Tristan married heero's and wufei's daughter who was named for his wife. By the end of the series all the pilots and zechs are together. There is also a family of spies who work for lady une and the pilots. Also une ends up with Sally and relena ends up with Dorothy.

I'm sorry, I don't know this story. Hopefully someone else will recognize it

HAPPY BELATED 26th ANNIVERSARY, GW ENDLESS WALTZ!!!!

Good morning to my fellow Gundam Pilots & Happy Sunday!!!! I know it’s 4 days late, but been dying to post this one too (Crazy rough week, long story lol), but Special huge Happy Belated 26th Anniversary to “Gundam Wing Endless Waltz” this 2023 with my NEW “G Team” 2023 11x17” in Glass Painting from the “Endless Waltz” movie!!!!

OMG, this is literally my 1st ever large Glass Painting made for the “Gundam Wing” brand and it was A LOT OF WORK!!!! This glass painting features the 5 main Gundam Pilots of “Gundam Wing”, The G Team, together side by side inspired by the original artwork of Endless Waltz as it’s made in really nice High-Quality Blu-Ray Color Styles from the anime movie complete with my customized outer space color silhouette background image inspired by EP 44 of the GW anime series!!!!! I had so much fun with Trowa & Heavyarms Glass Paintings last time, I really want to go big for Endless Waltz and I LOVE HOW THEY CAME OUT AWESOME!!!!! It was a lot of work getting everyone’s details down (Especially Duo most of all again), but I really enjoyed painting their colors in and making them look so good!!!! The background image still needs to be fixed up as my image may be off, but I’ll work on fixing it up so it can fit each pilot with their respective colors (I really want to post this painting so much, I couldn’t wait any longer!!!!), stay tuned for updates!!!! Overall, I’m very proud of this masterpiece- Endless Waltz, thank you for always being the greatest #1 Gundam movie of Gundam Wing to us with your power of awesomeness & badass Gundam supremacy!!!! May you forever & always be legendary across the universe- HAPPY BELATED 26TH ANNIVERSARY!!!!

GW Women’s Day Event 2023!

This event will be going from March 5th until March 11th!

This is a free for all really. You can pick any lady from Gundam Wing to write about: Gundam Wing, Endless Waltz, Episode Zero… even Frozen Teardrop *shudders*. You can pick multiples, you can do only one work for the whole week or as many as you please!

There will be three different prompts each day of the week to help get those creative juices flowing!

I'm familiarizing myself with ChatGPT since I have to be able to discern if students use it, and I'm both impressed and howling with laughter at how good and utterly off it can be.

I'm gonna take this opportunity to drop a few gems in the Gundam Wing tag and I'm probably also gonna end up throwing hands with the AI because you can tell it ripped some stuff from early 2000s geocities GW shrines. And maybe Youtube comments.

Look forward to AI trying to explain why Duo is the best character in the series, why Relena was hated or why Wufei sided with Mariemaia in Endless Waltz. While always pontificating at the end as though it's an episode of He-Man.

So... even though I grew up watching Captain Tsubasa and the Dragon Ball and Sailor Moon franchises (just to name a few)...

I think Gundam Wing is my first anime as a teenager. And, even though I’ve seen Endless Waltz several times, I don’t think I’ve actually seen GW since the late 90s.

So the nostalgia is through the roof rn.

Predictions:

- I’ll still love Duo, possibly even more. - I am curious about Heero and Relena as individuals - Surprisingly, Quatre caught my attention for several reasons. I had forgotten that he’s basically on a “break the cutie” character arc, so that’s a big plus in my book, but I also adore the dichotomy between his soft and kind personality compared to this very, very masculine killing machine that he pilots. I can’t think of the word in English to describe how “tosco” the Gundam is. lol, maybe my English skills will return eventually... - I am trying to go into GW without shipping glasses on? But I can’t make any promises. GW popped my Fujoshi cherry after all. Like just imagine this 14-15 year old girl accidentally running into yaoi drawings of Heero and Duo and realizing she liked them... like A LOT loooool. But I have the feeling this time around it’s going to be all about 3x4
