Immunity #5: Third Party Uno
It’s time for a Coast to Coast classic! It’s an Uno knockoff created by Board Game Arena called Solo! The general rules are similar to uno, which you can refresh up on here: https://www.ultraboardgames.com/uno/game-rules.php
However, it is considerably different from Uno in a number of ways. Firstly, it contains card-swapping hands that allow you to either switch hands with another player, or rotate the hands of the entire table. You must hit the button for solo in order to say you have one card left, and you may play cards out of order if they are matching cards.
Secondly, the game takes place over 4 rounds, and the winner in the end is determined by how many points you have left out of 500. You lose points based on the cards you have left in your hand when the round ends (which is determined by someone playing their final card). Number cards are worth less points than special cards like a Draw Four. Based on this system, you could never win a round and still win the game.
Thirdly, you must click the button that says ‘call “Solo”’ when it is your turn and you have two cards left in your hand. This button is below the game window. If you fail to press this button before you play your second to last card, the game will force you to draw two additional cards. Don’t forget!
Lastly, you can play identical cards directly after each other without it being your turn. For example if the order was John - Morgan - Zoe - Caryn, and John played a yellow three, I could play a yellow three on top of that even though it’s not my turn. This card works on literally any card in the game.
You will need an account on the website boardgamearena.com to play. It is free to have an account. We encourage you to practice the game before we play officially tomorrow night.
Here is the link to the game’s page: https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=solo. We will not be doing a practice round, so if you feel uncertain make sure to practice on your own time.
Both tribes will be playing for individual immunity.
Please pick a time to play.

Individual Immunity #10: Solo

In honor of a chaotic season, let’s play a chaotic game.
For your next challenge, you will be playing an Uno knockoff created by Board Game Arena: Solo. The general rules are similar to Uno, which you can refresh on here: https://www.ultraboardgames.com/uno/game-rules.php
However, it is considerably different from Uno in a number of ways. First, it contains card-swapping hands that allow you to either switch hands with another player or rotate the hands of the entire table.
Second, the game takes place over 4 rounds, and the winner in the end is determined by how many points you have left out of 500. You lose points based on the cards you have left in your hand when the round ends (which is determined by someone playing their final card). Number cards are worth less points than special cards like a Draw Four, so you want to have more number cards than special cards left at the end of a round. Based on this system, you could never win a round and still win the game.
Third, you must click the button that says ‘call “Solo”’ when it is your turn and you have two cards left in your hand. This button is below the game window. If you fail to press this button before you play your second to last card, the game will force you to draw two additional cards. Don’t forget!
Finally, you can play identical cards directly after each other without it being your turn. For example if the order was Trinica - AJ - Jay, and Trinica played a yellow three, Jay could play a yellow three on top of that even though it’s not their turn. This function works with literally any card in the game.
You will need to create a free account on the website https://boardgamearena.com/ to play. We encourage you to practice the game before we play.
Here is the link to the game’s page: https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=solo
We will not be doing a practice round, so if you feel uncertain make sure to practice on your own time.
We will set a time to play in the tribe chat. This challenge must be begun by 10pm EST tomorrow.
Good luck!

Any version of Logitech Options distributed on Uptodown is completely virus-free and free to download at no cost. Download rollbacks of Logitech Options for Mac. Also, even though not always necessary, it is best to take into account a system restart as well. It includes all the file versions available to download off Uptodown for that app. However, bear in mind that other platforms might be compatible as well, but we do not recommend applying any release on operating systems other than the highlighted ones. Afterwards, run the available setup, and follow the on-screen instructions for a complete and successful installation. In case you want to apply this software, all you have to do is to make sure all computer characteristics are compatible (such as operating system and bit architecture), get the package, and extract it if necessary. Gamepad companion hatswitch

#GAMEPAD COMPANION HATSWITCH HOW TO#
#GAMEPAD COMPANION HATSWITCH DRIVER#
#GAMEPAD COMPANION HATSWITCH WINDOWS 10#
That may be great for Windows users, but it makes it a pain to use it on a Mac.Play PC games wirelessly with your Android gamepad! One app on your Android connects to another app on your PC, so you can play PC games with Android gamepads, or the touchscreen gamepad. I am assuming the F310 would be the same way since all of these Logitech controllers have the XInput and DirectInput modes built into one gamepad. I have a feeling that's what I'll use in the future since that will be a lot simpler. I ordered a Cordless RumblePad 2 from a retailer that still had it in stock. It won't matter if you leave the F710 in 'D' mode. Unfortunately, the default mode on the F710 is the XInput mode which doesn't work on the Mac. Unfortunately, if you shut your Mac down at night like I do, you'll have to go through the same steps to reattach the F710 to the Mac. If your game doesn't support HID Manager, then you'll need a program like Carvware's Gamepad Companion or USB Overdrive in order to map the buttons, hatswitch, or analog sticks to keystrokes. If your game uses HID Manager, then you won't need to do anything else in order for your gamepad to work. Re-insert the battery into the F710 When you look at System Information now, the device should be shown as 'Logitech Cordless RumblePad 2'. Re-insert the nano USB receiver into the iMac 5. Remove the nano USB receiver from my iMac 3. Change the F710 to 'D' (DirectInput) mode 2. To do this, I had to do the following things in this order: 1. I was finally able to get this to work without starting up Windows. Initially, I had to start up Fusion and switch the F710 under Windows in order for the change to be reflected on the Mac. Otherwise, Fusion was intercepting the change in USB device ID and wasn't passing it along to the Mac. In my case, I needed to disable USB 2 support in VMWare Fusion. System Information needs to show it as a 'Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2' in order for it to work on the Mac.
#GAMEPAD COMPANION HATSWITCH DRIVER#
That won't work since there isn't an XInput driver for the Mac that works with the F710 as far as I know. When I looked at System Information, it still said it was a Logitech F710 gamepad. First of all, simple changing the switch to 'D' wasn't enough. Darwinmac 6:45 PM Re: Using a Logitech Game Controller F310 in response to trickytye In case anyone stumbles upon this thread, I did get my Logitech F710 to work on my iMac. FYI Mangolassi needs some sort of quoting feature.
#GAMEPAD COMPANION HATSWITCH HOW TO#
Here is a guy who's found out how to get the F710 to work on MAc. I wanted to use my F510 gamepad with a game.
#GAMEPAD COMPANION HATSWITCH WINDOWS 10#
I have a Windows 10 virtual machine (using Parallels Desktop v11) on my Mac (OS X Yosemite). Win 7 wireless bit utility mouse windows 7 windows vista win logitech gaming optical 1.1 ray edge gamepad QuickCam 6.15.25 3.04 logitech setpoint 6.20.64 4.80 5.10.127 setpoint Rumble trackball 7500 f310 gamepanel utility 80 for t r0001 f510 g110 gamepanel g u0001 diNovo 4.8 logitech setpoint driver g u0002 m570 m bu115 setpoint driver rx300. When it is in XInput mode the Tattiebogle driver is used. When it is in DirectInput mode the system provided driver is used. I am on a MacBookPro (Mid 2009) using a Logitech F510 gamepad, that can be switched between DirectInput and XInput. So I did these things: Installed the Logitech Gaming Soft.

Note
As someone with a G510s, have you ever herd of someone trying to run doom on one of those shitty screens in keyboards? I see the 48x48 doom played on keys, but for a gamer on a budget with a need to play doom on his keyboard, any suggestions?
I haven’t seen anything. A Logitech Gamepanel or whatever extension for a source port would be pretty cute, even if only like two people on Earth would end up using it.
