We all have that "something" we miss...

So, I was sitting in my room on a Sunday night when it hit me. I realized there is a dense void in my life because something is missing. Thankfully, I know exactly what that "something" is. 

You see, when I had this "something," I felt like I could do anything, go anywhere, and jump any obstacle. When I would be out driving, this "something" would come into my life when I least expected it. I was always so ecstatic. When I had this "something," I always appreciated it, and never took it for granted. I always used it at the perfect moment, so I would come out on top. I experienced many, many victories because of this "something." When this "something" was no more, I was forced to create new strategies, new ways to use what I was already given, and new ways to leap over obstacles in my path. When I used this "something," my peers would get so frustrated with me because I outsmarted them. Without this "something," the race of life has been a difficult one. Bananas, mushrooms, and shells can only do so much. 

What is this "something" that I speak of?
