The Shangri-Las - Remember (Walking in the Sand) Original footage
The Shangri-Las were an all female group that performed for television and were produced by a man named George Morton.  Morton had no prior experience with music performance, but would go on to become nearly infamous for his usage of various sounds in the final productions of his songs.  At approximately 1:10, the sounds of seagulls can be heard on “Walkin in the Sand.”
