So I went and downloaded 144 sims by other people for this challenge I’m doing. I then mixed them up using a random number generator to decide which Zodiac they would embody. I tried to keep them as close to the originals as possible, I didn’t touch any of their facial features. All I did was Berryify them to fit the story.

Gerbit: [Stomping into the water and grumbling] We're never gonna get to Dad's party!

Rosebud: [Squeals] SPARKLES!!!

Belo: LET'S. GO. SWIMMING!!!

Jak: [Sudden, short whistle] Hey, you folks shouldn't swim in here when it's a full moon. Not if you weren't wolf-kind.

Gerbit: Huh? Well— my Dad's a werewolf. [Forced confidence] Who are you, anyway?

Jak: My name is Jak. J-A-K, Jak. Is Brick your Dad? Gerbit: Yeah... You know him? Jak: [Casually] He's in my pack.

Gerbit: He's in my family. Families are kinda like a pack. Jak: Your name is Gerbit, right? Gerbit: Hey! How did you know my name?! [Laughs]

Jak: Do you think of your mom as part of your pack Gerbit?

Gerbit: Yeah... why...?

Jak: There's a lady running around the woods looking for you folk... You. Rosebud. Belo? She seems pretty worried. I think it's your mom.

Gerbit: [Panting, out of breath] ...Everyone okay?

Belo: [Catching breath, between pants] Too… mush… wunning…

Gerbit: I know Belo, but we couldn’t let anyone see us sneaking out of that truck. And besides, you didn’t even have to carry a little sister like I did! Now let’s go, we should be there soon if we hurry.

[Cars and trucks whooshing by]

Gerbit: EW! The woods are stinky! Wait a second, did one of you— Belo: Uh… Guh-bit?

Gerbit: What is it?

Belo: … What happen if we foget to pack a dipey? Foh Wosie.

Rosebud: 😒

Gerbit: For Rosie? Belo: [Nods head sheepishly] Gerbit: Well that would be a big problem b'cause she's 'posed to be potty training so she'd need to take a bath. Rosebud furrows her brow at the unfolding accusations, and points to Belo.

Gerbit: [Facepalm] Don't tell me I have to give you kids a bath. Belo: [Whispers] Foh Wosie...

Gerbit: [Furious sigh] Come on. Dad's party'll have to wait. I guess we have to go find the nearest ocean so you two can take a bath.

Sawyer: [Fumbling to adjust belt] Could you kids please quit jumping on my bed?

[Squealing and energetic laughter]

Gerbit: [Giggles] Why? Your bed's already on the floor! If we fall, it won't even barely hurt!

Sawyer pauses to contemplate a stern response, but instead concedes with a shrug. Belo: [Whispers] Guw-bit, ask huwh! Gerbit: Stop! I will, okay?

Sawyer: Ask me what? Gerbit: We... wanted to just go to Dad's cool werewoof party tonight! He said we was invited still.

Sawyer: Well... Dad didn't clear that with Mom, and it's a big fat NO from me, bud. Sorry. It's not safe, especially with the full moon out tonight. Something could— and likely will— go wrong... and I wouldn't be able to get to you right away if I'm at work. But, if you behave for Ms. Eleanor, and I know you will... I'll do everything I can to get off early and meet you for trick-or-treating. Knox even said he'll join us, too. [Smiles] Gerbit: But trick-or-treating is no fun! We do it every time when Spooky Day comes around!

Sawyer: Well, that's kinda how that works, pumpkin. K, babysitter's here. [Plucks fuzz off shirt and scurries to kiss each baby goodbye] I love you all very much! Be good!

Meanwhile, in Moonwood Mill

Trucker 1: That's a pretty sweet gig you got there— 250 simoleons a night, just to haul a truck load of sharp and dangerous tools from gas station to gas station. Little strange though, I reckon. Where ya headin' next?

Trucker 2: Yeah, well, I sure ain't complainin'. Headin' on down to Moonwood Mill next.

Trucker 1: [Shudders] Shoot, that place gives me the dang creeps.

Gerbit: [Whispers] Did you hear that? I think we seriously just found our ticket to Moonwood Mill. That truckin' dude is going to the gas station in Dad's town. Now's our chance! Follow me. Come on Rosie, you first, we have to get into the back of their truck without being seen. Belo: Y-you mean... sneak in the twuck? Gerbit: YES BELO SNEAK IN THE TWUCK. We can't just ask them for a ride. They'll tell mom! We'll just get out when he gets to the next stop. It's our only way! Now stay down, and BE VERY QUIET.

As months pass, Montgomery's agreement to allow Brick to venture to Brindleton Bay to reunite with his family proves beneficial. While Brick prefers to keep his distance from Montgomery, Montgomery continues communication with Donna and Yellow. Brick maintains a stable manual labor job and is hired by Aunts Clementine and Salem to build a home on his parents' property. While Sawyer now permits contact with the kids, given her focus on work and new dating endeavors, she decides it's best to limit contact with Brick.

Normally accepting assistance from a stranger from a nearby town offering to come over and stay with you for a few days and help take care of your children because "infants can be a handful" (even though all 3 of your kids are well past the infant stage now) may be a bit unconventional, but Sawyer knows good and well if she were to ask any of the Darlings for babysitting help while she goes on a date with someone who is not Brick Darling, it would be a matter of time before said news reaches Brick Darling. And Sawyer just doesn't have time for Brick's temper, especially now that it's heightened by wolfiness. So, make yourself at home, Ms. Eleanor Sullivan :)

Minnow has recently discovered that she has her first wiggly tooth, and she is OBSESSING. Donna: You hear that, Grandpa? Looks like the tooth fairy may very well be paying us a visit rather soon!

Later that day, Gerbit joins comes over to join in on the summer break fun, and he and Grandpa Yellow sit in the treehouse and talk about general life things, like how much he loves having a little sister, how he's happy that he's starting to see his dad more, and that his mom has a job interview today 🥰 Fingers crossed for Sawyer!

Meanwhile, back down on earth, Little Nym teaches even littler Rosebud how to play with imagination, and Button daydreams about raspberries.

Yellow: Ahem, well... while I am beyond disappointed that my son is handling this so poorly, you seem to be doing a great job with the kids. I can't imagine how you'll manage to explain this to them.

Sawyer: Oh they have lots of questions, and I do my best to answer them as honestly as I can. We go on long walks around the neighborhood and I explain to them that Daddy lied down with too many dogs, so it's going to take a little while for him to get rid of the fleas.

So Rosie is a toddler now in the story, but I did test out infants with her as soon as I updated my game, so I wanted to share a few gameplay photos of her infant days with Sawyer and the boys before she aged up ❤

"Glamma" Meadow came to help out for a few days. Sawyer was pretty stressed plus Meadow and Don Lothario had just broken up. They're back together now though.

Celebrating her birthday at the Darling home 🥳

Sawyer: It was a while back. just before Rosie's first birthday. I had been taking care of her for a while, and Brick was keeping in touch with the kids through screens. He assured me that he had enough training and he was safe enough to finally meet her and the boys in person. I was hesitant at first. I know he has a short fuse and I don't know how dangerous werewolves can be. Yellow: Of course.

Sawyer: We met up at the community center. When I first saw his face I felt so pissed off. He looked pretty much exactly the same and all the memories -good and bad- came flooding back to me, and I felt sick.

But... when I saw the boys rush up to hug him, and how happy they were, and when I finally introduced Rosie to him, and how gentle he was with her... I... I melted, Yellow. Yellow: Oh boy.

Sawyer: Everything went really well. The boys played, and got into trouble. Brick and I caught up. I told him all about Rosie, and he told us about his werewolf lifestyle. He said he missed his family, but he felt like he belonged. He started really bonding with Rosie. Then he was all like:

Brick: You know she reminds me of you, ma. Perfect. You did a real good job raising her. We're all lucky as hell to have you. I miss you babe.

I giggled like an idiot. I didn't really say anything back right away, but we started talking about getting together more often. Truth is, I missed him too.

Brick: Yo, what if we changed her name? Sawyer: WHAT? Change her name?! Brick: Yeah. Nothin' too different. We can still call her Rosie, but I want to give her a name that comes from us, not her old life. Ya know? Sawyer: Like what? Brick: I don't know. I was thinking bein' blessed with her is even better than a simoleon cheat or somethin'. How 'bout Rosebud? Sawyer: Rosebud. [Soft laughter] Ha, I actually really like it. I think it fits her.

Brick gazed at her lovingly as she fell asleep in his massive arms.

Brick: [Whimpers] Awoh Sawyer, Look at her! She's asleep! I think she likes me. Sawyer: She trusts you, Brick. Brick: I love her. I want to take her to the lake this summer, and teach her how to howl at the moon. -If that's okay with you. And the boys.. and you...you could come too! I'd love for you to meet the pack. Sawyer: [Sighs] Maybe. We already have a pack. The Darlings. Us.

Brick: I know. Just think about it? It'll be fun. Think about it. Sawyer: [Chuckles] Okay. I'll think about it.

Brick: [A little too loud] YES!! Oh shit, sorry, she's waking up. Sawyer: It's okay. Don't wanna nap too long, or she won't get to bed at a normal hour. Here, I'll put her in back in her carrier. Say bye to Daddy, sweetie.

Brick: Bye-bye little angel. I promise I'll see you again soon. Let me help Mommy get you buckled into your carrier. Sawyer: Oh that's okay, I'm good at doing this by myself now, ha. Brick: It's fine, really. Brick gently set Rosie in her carrier, and fastened the buckles securely.

Brick: There you go...All set... [Grins] Sawyer: [Playfully] Stop it! Brick: Oh now you're all shy? Sawyer: NO. I just-

Sawyer: Wait- what is that?? Brick: Huh? What is what?

Sawyer: THAT.

They are all so cute and I'd love to know more like their likes/dislikes, fave parent, fave foods, what they like to play/do in their free time - and any other lil' details you'd like to share. I know they're young, but I'd love to know more of them .. They are ALL so cute and man, Brick's genes run strong! LOL

A little info on each of Brick and Sawyer's kiddos:

Gerbit Darling

For those who don't know, Gerbit seems to mean "llama" in simlish. He's pretty much named after this cheer, which is incredibly near and dear to my heart 🥺 I wanted all of Brick and Sawyer's kids to have very classic sims names!

Gerbit is the first Gen 5 Darling, Brick and Sawyer's oldest child, and was born pretty early into Brick and Sawyer's relationship, when the two were very young and hadn't been dating long. Sawyer just left university early, and Brick just got out of jail and cancelled on the internet, losing his celebrity status as an influencer. Despite life being up in the air for the couple, Brick and Sawyer were hopeful when Gerbit was born, he was their little beacon of light ❤

Just like Brick, Gerbit isn't very gifted intellectually. However, he makes up for this with his heart of gold. He's a very sweet boy and enjoys visiting his grandparents more than anywhere else. His relatives think he'll become a family sim for sure. He's not great at making friends quite yet, but his closest friends are his cousin Minnow, and distant cousin Budgie Sparrow. (Birdie's youngest)

When it comes to Gerbit's interests, he enjoys watching heavy machinery, such as planes, trains, cranes, bulldozers, and excavators. He looooves to eat and has the glutton trait. His favorite thing to eat is Taco Casserole, but only if it's made by Grandma Donna! Like his other siblings, he loves his dad but doesn't see him much so he's a lot closer to Mom.

Belo Darling

Belo, the middle child, is named after the Belomisia Jungle in Selvadorada, to honor Sawyer's heritage.

Out of the three kids, Belo takes the most after his mom in personality, although he seems to have inherited his father's lack of intelligence, similar Gerbit. He has the angelic trait but does seem to have a short temper like Dad. However, he displays his attitude in mannerisms similar to Sawyer, with sassy eyerolls and pursing his lips in disapproval.

Belo looks up to his big brother and usually tries to emulate his behavior. If Gerbit misbehaves, Belo will too. But if Gerbit is a good boy, which is usually the case, Belo follows his lead. Belo didn't grow his first tooth or say his first word until after 18 months old. He still isn't very advanced at speaking, and the speech he does use has an impediment, he's unable to pronounce his "R"s.

He loves singing, most sports, especially baseball and football (both Simerican and real), and experimenting with Mom's makeup, which can usually be found scattered on the bathroom, livingroom, or bedroom floor. He often consumes and prefers processed foods such as microwaved chicken nuggets, microwaved breakfast burritos, and animal crackers.

Rosebud Darling

Baby Rosie, or Rosebud, is Brick and Sawyer's youngest and only daughter. She is biologically Brick's, conceived from Zoe Flores's and Brick's scandalous and juiced session that they shared in a hot tub at a party in Del Sol Valley. Most of us know the dramatic story, but basically, Zoe and her boyfriend Drew's relationship could not withstand the burden of raising another man's child, and Zoe forfeited her rights to Brick's side, and Sawyer ended up adopting her for full custody.

Despite being thrown into quite the chaotic storyline, she's always been such a happy and social baby, who just goes with the flow. She also has the angelic trait, and loves to cuddle and be carried. Being a Darling and being surrounded by the hustle and bustle of Evergreen Harbor, she's constantly surrounded by loud sounds, which she has fully embraced, and always can be kept content by playing sound for her. Like Belo, she also loves singing! When she was a baby, Sawyer's Dad and Stepmom brought fresh avocado and papaya grown from their property in Selvadorada for her to try, and she's been hooked ever since.

Gerbit: Dad! Dad! Are there lots of werewolfs in that town? Brick: Yeah buddy, there's a lot. Gerbit: Are they scary? Belo: ...

Brick: Nah, they're cool. Gerbit: Is there playgrounds? And swimmin' pools? And...[eyes widen] kids werewolfs?

Brick: [Hearty laughs] Well I don't know about swimmin' pools but we got a lake out here. And not a lot of kids but some. There's a kid living here a few years older than you, Jak. He's pretty cool. Look kiddo, it's getting late, let me talk to your mom. Gerbit and Belo look around the room for Sawyer, their eyes wander back to Brick. Gerbit: She's too busy. She said she doesn't want to talk to you.

Brick took a deep breath in frustration, and wrapped up the call with his sons, making sure to spend extra time telling them he misses them, he loves them, and that he'll see them again when it's safe to do so.

Sandra: She's taking care of Zoe's baby now. Your baby.

Brick: Who, Sawyer? No, there's no way she'd do that. I begged her to give me another kid and she shut me down everytime. Sandra: Well, she's doing it now. Clementine and Donna both offered, but Sawyer took it upon herself to take care of her, I guess. All your kids are with her. As an attorney, Brick, I have the expertise to say; your life is a complete mess. Brick: Yeah? [Approaches Sandra slowly] Sandra: Uh-huh.

Brick: Well lucky for me I got a cute vampire attorney to help me straighten it all out. Sandra: [Rolls eyes] Just for now. Until you get your ducks in a row. Brick: Well now I get to talk to my family when I want, and I have clothes.

Sandra: ...Yet you still don't wear them...

Brick: Let me thank you... rightly...

Sandra: [Hesitates, sighs] Fine. But make it quick. The nanny needs to leave by midnight.

Clementine: Is that-

Donna: OH NO! It's Brick! I'm not ready to tell him now!

Clementine: [Gasp] Oh my- Okay... you go stall him as long as you can, I'll go handle Rosie.

Donna: But Clem, I- Clementine: I got this, okay? Don't worry. Just go!

Mimsy: [Yapping]

Donna: Brickie, sweetie! What are you doing here? You didn't tell me you'd be over. Are you hungry, darling? Why don't you come inside and I'll make you something. Brick: Nah, I'm good, mama. Where's Clementine? Donna: Oh! Clementine? She's uh-

Minnow: Aunt Clem? Why did you hide Rosie behind Mr. Bigfeet? Clementine: I'm glad you asked honey, listen here... We're going to play a game okay? We're going to pretend that Gerbit and Belo's dad is the Big Bad Wolf! ...And he uh- he likes to eat babies. Mr. Bigfeet is going to keep her safe for now, but it's our job to keep her a secret okay? No matter what, we absolutely cannot let the Big Bad Wolf know there's a baby here... [clears throat] Uh...Especially Rosie. The Darling children spiral into a fit of excited screams and high pitched giggles, as they take their place in preparation for the Big Bad Wolf.

Donna: [scurrying quickly to keep up with Brick's swift stride] Wait! Honey- The kids are playing camping time... and they're taking it very seriously. Brick: [Deep, baritone laugh] Dude, Mom... chill. I'll be quick.

Brick entered the makeshift tent and the children watched his every move intently. Rosie happily gnawed on her fingertips, as her father who she has yet to meet, towered over everyone in the tent. If Rosie made a sound or if Brick happened to look in the wrong direction, the secret would be revealed. Clementine's entire body slightly buckled as one of Brick's trunk-like arms wrapped around her shoulders for a brief side hug. Brick: Hey Aunt Clem. You look pretty today. Clementine: [Nervously] Heyyy sweetie... heh, thanks! Brick: So what's going on in here?

Clementine: Oh nothing... We're just playing "Hiding from the Big Bad Wolf!" Belo: Da-da... you bad a big wolf... Brick: Oh I'm the wolf? GRRRRRRRR!!!

Brick growled playfully and the children erupted into laughter. The kids were used to Brick's playing, but the sound was abrasive enough to potentially upset Rosie, who was unfamiliar with Brick's rowdy play style. Donna and Clem froze, slowly looked at each other. No crying. That was close.

Clementine: So... what's up? Brick: [Laughter subsides] Not shit. I was just lookin' for Cat. I'm gonna make him come work out with me. D'ya see what he posted in the chat? Pfft- he said he hasn't worked out in a while and so he's gonna do yoga with Grandma. Dude needs my help.

Clementine: Oh... yeah um... He's in the garage with Kirsten. I think they've already started... [Practically pushing Brick away] You better hurry!

Coni: Well... We're up next. Ready to escort the Sim of Honor down the aisle?

Sunglo wraps his arm around Coni's waist and pulls her in closer. Sunglo: I'm ready to escort the heck out of you, anywhere you want, Ms. Concept. Coni giggles.

Yellow: [Loud and exaggerated throat clear] AHEM... pretend like you didn't hear that, kids.

Minnow: Like we're supposed to pretend we don't know Gerbit has a new baby sister? Gerbit: From a different Mommy, right Grandpa? Yellow: [Nervous laugh] Heheh, yep yep! Just like that.
