Halloween Costumes (HC)

Pairing: Team K x Reader, Team W x Reader, Team B x Reader

Warning: Suggestive.

Prompt: Reader to picks out a “couple costume” for Halloween.

Prologue

Starless was hosting an invitation exclusive Halloween party. When you read the invitation, you noticed a line in bold letter: Must wear a costume.

You wanted to costume shop together with your boyfriend, but as usual, he was too busy. So, you decide to take the matter into your own hands. Without asking him, you pick out a costume for him (and you), but unbeknownst to him, you decide to go with a couple's costume.

Team K

Kei

You wanted to see Kei as a vampire again, but when you reached for the costume, you noticed the costume beside it.

‘A devil?’ You smirked. ‘A sexy devil.’

Kei raises his eyebrow when he sees his devil costume.

“Devil? Is that how you see me?” He asks with a smirk.

“N-No. I just thought it would look good on you.”

Kei can’t help but smile when he sees your costume. He thinks it suits you well.

“My dear angel, you couldn’t look any more heavenly.”

Kei takes a hold of your hand and pulls you close to him, pressing his lips on yours.

“K-Kei?”

“You made me a devil, so don’t expect me to be an angel.” Kei leans in close to your ear, “The devil will show you later tonight what he can do.”

Sotetsu

Since last Halloween, you had dreamt of seeing Sotetsu as a vampire.

When you show him the costume, he laughs, “Be prepared to see the world’s sexiest vampire.”

Sotetsu is in surprised to see you in your costume.

“Such a beautiful vampiress,” he walks up to you and nuzzles your neck, “you smell nice.”

He presses the tip of his fake fangs into your neck.

“Let me drink your blood.”

“Sotetsu!?”

He chuckles and presses his lips on your neck, “I am joking, babe...kinda.”

Ginsei

Ginsei has always been your prince charming, so you couldn’t think of a more befitting costume for him.

“A p-prince?” He is shocked to see his outfit.

Ginsei looks like a prince straight out of a disney movie. Perfect.

“Princess, you look stunning.” He kisses the back of your hand, “But, princess, why choose this outfit?”

“Ginsei, you are my prince charming.”

His cheeks turn red but he smiles widely, “I am honored to be your prince charming. I l-love you, my princess.”

Gui

Gui is confused when you hand him his ninja costume.

“Ninja?” He blinks.

“Gui, you would be a great ninja. A badass ninja that can do parkour.”

He still doesn’t understand but willingly wears his costume.

“Wow, you look better than I imagined.”

“Are you happy seeing me wear this?” Gui asked, tilting his head a bit.

“Yes!”

“Then I am happy.” He gave an innocent, child-like smile.

Yoshino

You couldn’t decide which costume to pick out until you saw a poster of Mickey and Minnie. ‘Perfect.’

Yoshino stares at the costume with wide eyes and mouth open, his face matching the color of your costume.

“Uh, I...”

“Yoshino, please! You will look great as Mickey.” You batted your eyes lashes and pouted.

“A-alright.”

Yoshino looked beyond adorable in his outfit. So cute that you were tempted to tease him.

To his dismay, the cast members teased him non-stop at the party.

“Don’t you look adorable.”, “The hell ya wearing?”, “Hey Mickey, your face matches Minnie’s dress.”, “Your height is perfect for the costume.”

Yoshino went through a lot that night but he didn’t mind because your happiness mattered to him more than anything.

Team W

Kokuyou

Kokuyou smirks after seeing his costume, “Big Bad Wolf?”

“Suits you perfectly.”

“Is that so?” He chuckles and gets dressed.

“Oh, Kokuyou what big arms you have.” You place your hands on your cheeks, acting surprised, “Oh, Kokuyou what big eyes you have.”

Kokuyou chuckles and steps close to you, looking you straight in the eyes, “Hey, Red Riding Hood, this Big Bad Wolf is hungry.”

“What do you want to eat?”

He steps closer to you with an alluring smile, “You.”

Akira

Akira is excited to see his pirate costume, “Reminds me of my Seaside costume.”

He covers his mouth and shakes his head, “Forget I said anything.”

“Wait, Team W will be pirates in Seaside?”

“You didn’t hear it from me.” He quickly runs to the changing room and gets ready.

“Akira, you look hot.”

“Don’t I always? But princess, you look-,” he scans you up and down, “-sexy.”

“Hey captain, my eyes are up here.” You chuckle and lift his chin up with one finger.

“It’s not my fault that you look smokin’.”

Sin

Sin wasn’t expecting you to pick out a Batman costume for him, but he didn’t complain.

“Sin, please say “I am Batman” in a deep voice.” You giggle and clasp your hand together, waiting to hear your superhero sounding like the Gotham Knight.

He clears his throat and copies the cape crusader, “I am Batman.”

“Hm...brooding man, mature, rarely smiles, serious...? Sin! They should cast you as the next Batman.” You laugh.

While you’re laughing, Sin takes the liberty to study your outfit.

Though he won’t say it out loud, Sin is glad that you chose this costume. How else would he get to see you in a tight spandex jumpsuit.

Taiga

Taiga wasn’t ecstatic to dress up and go to the party. He wanted to spend the night playing video games, but he couldn’t say no to you.

“So what am I dress up as?” He asks in a dreary tone.

“Here.” You hand him the costume and wait patiently for his reaction.

“This is? Master Chief?” Taiga’s eyes sparkle with excitement, “This is...perfect!”

He throws his arms around you, “Thank you! I will be right back.”

You laugh and get ready. ‘He’s so cute.’

“How do I lo-” Taiga stares at you, wordless.

“What’s wrong?”

“You look a-amazing. I think I am in love with you all over again.”

Takami

Most people in Starless think that Takami is shady, so you chose a costume to match that description.

“A gangster?” Takami chuckles, cooly.

“I think you will look really cool as a gangster!”

Takami didn’t mind the costume, especially considering that his daily wear looks quite similar to the gangster outfit. Coincidence? I think not.

When he sees your costume though, he is left breathless.

“My, don’t you look sensuous. I am almost tempted to not go to the party.”

“Why? I worked so hard picking out these costumes.”

Takami chuckles at your cluelessness, “You are adorable.”

Team B

Kongou

“We are a married couple?” Kongou blushes and rubs the back of his neck.

“Yeah! The costume is called “Till Death Do Us Apart”, but I think the costume should be called, “Not Even Death Can Do Us Apart”.” You laugh.

“That’s clever. Excuse me.”

Kongou smiles when he sees you in your costume, “You look beautiful, even as a ghost bride. I wonder what you would look like as a real bride.”

You smile, “We will find out as soon as you propose to me.”

Kongou’s jaw drops as he stares at you with wide eyes.

You giggle at your boyfriend and walk out of the room.

“Soon, love.” Kongou whispers and fishes out a small blue velvet box from his pocket.

Ran

“SO COOL!” Ran is beyond exhilarated to see his costume.

“I knew you would like it! Let’s get ready and put on our makeup.”

You finish your makeup and help Ran apply blood to his face.

“More blood!”

“Ran? Are you sure?”

“Yes! I want it to be scary, so more blood.”

When the two of you arrive at the party, Ran plays a prank and suddenly appears on stage, scaring quite a few of the cast members.

Mizuki runs on stage and kicks Ran. Sinju, Yoshino, Mokuren, and Maica avoids the two of you. Qu compliments your makeup skills.

Though it was fun for the night, Ran got punished the next day for scaring everyone.

You felt bad, but it was worth it.

Mizuki

Mizuki is a fan of the Joker, so he’s thrilled to see his costume.

You help him with his tattoos before changing into your outfit.

Your boyfriend is busy checking out his costume in the mirror, but when he sees your reflection, he nearly falls backwards.

“So, how do I look?”

“Hm..fine, I guess.”

Mizuki’s cheeks are bright red, and he avoids looks at you.

“Only fine?”

“Nah, ya look great.” He grinned.

Mizuki felt an unknown feeling seeing you in Harley Quinn’s outfit. He couldn’t describe the feeling, but for some reason his pants felt tighter.

Heath

After seeing the costume, Heath isn’t sure what to say.

He’s not scared of clown, but he also doesn’t want to dress like one.

“Do you like clowns?”

“Not really, but since Team B likes unusual concepts, I thought IT would be a good choice. Why, you don’t like it?’

“No, no. I will wear it.”

When Heath sees your outfit, he blushes, “Are you sure you want to wear that outfit?”

“Hm? What’s wrong with it?”

“Nothing.” Heath said, averting his eyes.

When the two of you arrive at Starless, many of the cast members are stunned.

Mizuki likes your costume so much that he disappears for a little while and comes back dressed in a jeans, yellow raincoat, and green rainboots.

“Heath?” You tap his shoulder and whisper, “Why did you ask if I’m okay wearing this outfit?”

“Oh...I didn’t want the men here to see you wearing such a short skirt.”

Rico

Rico frowns when he sees his costume.

“Why would you choose a costume that covers my handsome face?”

“It’s your punishment for not helping me pick out our costume.” You handed him his outfit.

Rico begrudgingly gets ready, but he freezes when he sees you in your outfit.

“Little bird, if the grim reaper looks like you, then I wouldn’t mind dying.”

You chuckle, “Is that so?”

At the party, you got a lot of compliments, much to Rico’s dismay.

He wasn’t fond of the cast members being around you but seeing them flock around you, made him angry.

How he wishes his costume had the power of the grim reaper. He would start by using that power on a certain leader.

На Reddit уже с месяц есть интересный пост со списком возможных релизов на Nintendo Switch на ближайшие два года. Данные, по словам автора, взяты не с горы, а прямиком из упомянутой консоли. Информация о списке найденных игр почти не появлялась в СМИ и пабликах. Я бы и сам прошел мимо, если бы игры из списка постепенно не начали анонсировать сами издатели. После такого хочется вновь взглянуть на старый список и поразмышлять, что из упомянутого стоит ждать, а что не очень.

Откуда вообще взялся этот список? Анонимный датамайнер порылся в коде свича, видимо, после обновления системы, и обнаружил там «ячейки» для готовящемся к релизу играм. Записаны они были в качестве двоичного кода. После расшифровки и появился список игр.

Я пишу этот материал 25-го марта. Уже вышедшие на Nintendo Switch игры из списка я рассматривать не буду и по возможности удалю их из списка. А для начала, остановлю внимание на проектах, что анонсировали недавно. В период с 25-го февраля и до 25 марта, то есть с момента публикации списка и по текущий день.

Josh came down today - he made it here shortly after 11:30, and proceeded to serve me breakfast! He’s become quite knowledgeable on healthy eating, and whipped up some protein-powered pancakes, complete with yogurt, brownie, chocolate sauce, and Oreos. The pancakes themselves were pretty dry, but full marks for presentation and effort!

Josh had come armed with his golf bats on the off-chance the weather became less arctic; it didn’t, so we agreed to try some indoor activities instead, i.e. bowling and pool. We headed to a garage first, as he’d noted a drop-off in pressure from one of his rear tyres; we pumped it full of air, and when it was still hissing like a cornered cobra, we had a closer look and discovered a thick piece of metal sticking out of the tyre in question! How on earth it got in there (given its blunt profile) and for how long we will never know, but Josh called his cover service - who were pretty rapid in responding - and they sort-of-not-really helped us to a nearby garage, where Josh had to suck up the expense of new rubber.

After our less-than-ideal start to the day, we eventually headed into Gunwharf; my hope had been to try the crazy pirate golf down by Clarence Pier, but most of the facilities there were shut. I wasn’t sure why this was, but with a deserted funfair and arcades, it did feel a little ‘ghost town’. We went back to the shopping centre, and up to where the bowling is, along with an arcade that was open. Josh found his Achilles heel/speciality, Crossy Road, and we whiled away some time on that, earning ourselves a heck of a lotta tokens!

We eventually made it to bowling, where we were put in the ‘VIP’ section, which is a bit corny, but we enjoyed having the curtains and cordoned off area to ourselves (how at home does he look?)! Josh has had a lot to celebrate recently - it was his birthday yesterday, he is expecting his first child early next year, and he got engaged in the last few days for good measure too! I paid for the bowling as a birthday/baby/engagement gift, but quickly wished I had made him stump up the cash, as he started off quickly, and rarely slowed down! Even when I found a groove with a double-strike in game 2, he decided to upstage me with a turkey! He won both games, which were fairly competitive, so don’t let me catch certain people accusing me of only showing the scoreboard when I win!

A few more goes at Crossy Road - Josh was a few steps from beating the challenge total and receiving a shed-load of tokens - and I rang to see if Ranchos had room for us. They did, and we had plenty of room for them, as we’d hardly eaten since breakfast. I was far better prepared than last time, and put away 5 ribs, which I consider to be a jolly good innings! However, not for the first time tonight, Josh decided to go one better, putting away 7. He may now be nearly half his old weight, but his appetite clearly hasn’t diminished! We staggered back to mine, and had time for some typically-frustrating FIFA online matches. Note to self: don’t use Palermo in future.

Oh, and Josh asked me to be his best man! That was a very pleasant surprise, and of course I accepted the honour! I promptly realised that meant a speech is required, but it sounds like I will have plenty of time to get some material together. One advantage I have is the years of practice I’ve spent taking the mickey out of him, so that should certainly be of use. I suppose I’d better actually meet his missus too...

Grim Grinning GHOSTs come out to trick or treat. It's Halloween month on MyVMK! We have lots of creepy things to come your way. So relax and sit back, there's not a moment to delay. Ever wanted to be the person to make the creepiest house on the block? Well now is your chance to try and scare up some fun with our Haunted House Competition. This is an individual one room competition. You must submit your registration following our guidelines below:

1. The Haunted Houses MUST be named in the following way: “Haunted House [Username]”

2. When you register, ONLY PROVIDE your name, room name, and the email address connected to your in-game account.

a. Please note, if your name does not fit in the required room name please set it to just be “Haunted House”

3. The Haunted Houses will be judged in the following categories: Most Creative, Best Theme, and Best Overall.

4. There will be several First Prize winners and 1 Grand Prize winner from each category. The judges will decide what category your room falls under.

Registration is open and will end on October 22nd. You can enter by clicking here! If you do not register in time your room will not be judged! Rooms must be completed before judging begins on October 23rd. Winners on October 31st.

When you register please make sure that you enter valid information. This contest is one entry per person and entering multiple accounts or “clones” into the competition will lead to immediate disqualification for any accounts entered. What is your favorite thing to do around the Kingdom?

My favorite thing to do is walk down the middle of Main Street both during the holidays to see the beautiful decorations and just normally. It makes me feel like I am actually there!

What is the best item for building your rooms?

This is tricky. Am I allowed to say glitched pixels? I use those a lot. I keep like, one-hundred of them in my inventory at all times so I don't run out, and I do run out of them rather quickly.

What has been your favorite game to host thus far?

Oh gosh. I think my favorite would have to be Dreams Month. It was so much fun when all the HOSTs and Moderators went around spreading joy to the MyVMK Community while somehow in the process bringing us all together.

What is your favorite mini-game in MyVMK?

Haunted Mansion. Who doesn't like catching some ghosts while pretending to be a ghost buster?

What is your favorite type of Guest Room?

The Beauty and the Beast Ballroom! It's so pretty and the music that plays when you enter it is just so perfect! <3

Favorite MyVMK memory?

The first time I met Amy! It was during dreams month. She literally trolled me in front of some people in the Esplanade. It was absolutely hilarious and I will never forget it. I still laugh at it now!

What is your favorite Public Room in the Kingdom?

This is a tough question because I have so many. Sci-Fi Dine-In, Castle Forecourt, Fantasyland In The Sky; it's just so hard to choose!

What is your favorite theme on VMK?

Anything Christmas related. I just love Christmas so much. It's the time of the year that brings family and friends together and I think that's a magical thing.

What is your favorite Disney park?

The Magic Kingdom! It's so magical just walking around the park and seeing all of Walt Disney's creations.

Who is your favorite Disney Character?

I have like, three. That would be Lucky from 101 Dalmatians, Stitch from Lilo and Stitch, and Vanellope Von Schweetz for obvious reasons! Lucky was my first ever favorite Disney character and will always have a special place in my heart.

Is there any advice you would give to players?

Be respectful to others and treat people the way you would want to be treated. You never know what could be happening in another person's life behind that screen.

On September 15th Halloween Time will begin at the Disneyland Resort. Visit the parks and see that orange decorations coming up throughout the Disneyland Resort. Soon a big Jack-O-Lantern will be on Main Street, the Haunted Mansion will be taken over by Jack Skellington, and Cars Land will have new decor!

Mickey’s Halloween Party

This year Mickey’s Halloween Party will be taking place on 14 nights. They include: Wednesday, Sept. 20; Friday, Sept. 22, Monday, Sept. 25; Wednesday, Sept. 27; Friday, Sept. 29; Tuesday, Oct. 3; Friday, Oct. 6; Tuesday, Oct. 10; Friday, Oct. 13; Tuesday, Oct. 17; Friday, Oct. 20; Tuesday, Oct. 24; Friday, Oct. 27; and Tuesday, Oct. 31, Halloween night. Each party will include the Halloween Screams (weather permitting) and the Frightfully Fun Parade. The Frightfully Fun Parade will again be led by the Headless Horseman. All of these events are weather permitting.

This year, with the purchase of tickets to Mickey’s Halloween Party guests will also get unlimited PhotoPass for the day of the event. Guests are encouraged to dress up for the event in their favorite costume. Then they can also go trick or treating to get candy or healthy treats during the party.

Tickets purchased in advance to Mickey’s Halloween Party are now available at a discount on select nights. All tickets purchased on the day of the event through Tuesday, Oct. 17 are $105 each. All tickets to Mickey’s Halloween Party on Friday, Oct. 20, Friday, Oct 27 and Tuesday, Oct. 31, are $120 each. Mickey’s Halloween Party is a non-smoking event. Tickets may be purchased at http://Disneyland.com/party, as well as at the Disneyland Resort main gate, or by phone at 714-781-4400.

Disneyland

Disneyland will be ready for the most haunted time of year with multiple spooky offerings. Jack Skellington will continue his tradition of taking over the Haunted Mansion. This year, he’ll be bringing a very special gingerbread house to the attraction. It will feature Oogie Boogie in the form of a 7-foot tall gingerbread cookie. He’ll be peeling back the roof of a gingerbread Haunted Mansion and revealing gummy worms and bugs.

Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy will be returning again this year as well. Guests will hurtle through space as they are chased by the spooks of Tomorrowland.

In Frontierland, the Diá de los Muertos skeleton display will be returning and hold over past Halloween until November 2nd.

Disney California Adventure

Halloween is returning to Disney California Adventure this year. Cars Land will be getting decorated for this season as part of its Haul-O-Ween celebration. Lightning McQueen, Mater, Cruz, Red and DJ will all be dressed for Halloween. They will be a super hero, a “van-pire,” a pirate, a clown and a punk rocker. Attractions will be getting Halloween makeovers as well. Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree will become the Graveyard JamBOOree and Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters will become Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween. Over on Route 66, Scary the Scarecar will guard the entrance to the land which will be completely themed for the season.

Disney California Adventure will also be featuring Oogie Boogie for the first time. Silhouettes of Oogie Boogie will be found throughout the main entrance to the park and he will be bringing to life a swarm of bats around the Carthay Circle Restaurant and Lounge.

Guests of Mickey’s Halloween Party will also be able to visit Disney California Adventure this year as well. For the three hours before the party, guests are invited to dress in costume and go to Disney California Adventure for a spooky pre-party experience.

A Father's Day at the Field of Dreams

Music, Movies & Moods is a regular free-form column in which Matt Melis explores the cracks between where art and daily life meet. This time, a father and son go the distance to a ballpark in the cornfields of Dyersville, Iowa.

“You want to have a catch?”

It's a question my father and I have asked each other thousands of times. Many, many times when I was very young and less often as I left boyhood and quickly grew to be my father's height and taller. For a few years there, I'm sure it must have been one of the furthest questions from my mind, our ball gloves tucked away in the garage somewhere, dusty and out of sight. But leave it to life – and the little bits of wisdom we happen to grab hold of along the way – to send us back to the good, simple things. Out of college, in love, in debt, and trying to figure out what the hell to do with my life, I started asking that question again. As did my father. The best part about this particular question is that both of us know what the answer from the other will be: yes, always yes.

“You want to have a catch?” comes from Field of Dreams, of course, though fathers and sons have been saying it, or something similar, long before Kevin Costner ever started hearing voices, plowed over his corn crop, and turned the clearing into a ball field. Usually, when we ask this question, it means a trip out to the backyard or a local park. This time, though, it meant a trip to Dyersville, Iowa. That's about three and a half hours from my Milwaukee home. Add to my father's trip – at the wheel beside me – eight and a half hours from our family home in Pittsburgh. But that's him: have son, will travel.

Dad had asked the question this time. He's been a retired chemical engineer for a few years now and has started to figure out who he is without a full house and a daily commute. He chairs a local charitable foundation, jogs with a club twice a week, goes to movies, and give tours of PNC Park, where the Pittsburgh Pirates call home. (He can tell you things like where the park's reddish warning track dirt comes from. Incidentally, dyed volcanic rock from Utah.) When he visits me in Milwaukee, he's started taking extra time to travel along the coast of Lake Michigan, visiting decommissioned lighthouses. I bought him a certified U.S. Lighthouse Society membership – like a passport book – that can be stamped at each site he visits. “You're official now, sailor,” I told him. I'm a smart-ass.

The free time has also allowed Dad to add to his bucket list – some of which inevitably involves my mother, sister, or me. One evening last winter, we were on the phone together, and I could tell that he was nervous about something. Finally, he asked me if I'd go to the Field of Dreams with him, hedging against disappointment by saying it was only an idea and not a big deal. Clearly, he had forgotten that the answer to the “catch” question is always yes. I agreed immediately and teased him for being nervous. “I thought you were going to ask me to the prom,” I ribbed. Like I said, a smart-ass.

The night before we drove to Dyersville, we watched clips of Field of Dreams on YouTube. If you haven't seen the film, its lone intent, I'm convinced, is to make grown men cry. (I feel the score sneaking up on me as I type.) Costner's protagonist, Ray Kinsella - a cash-strapped rookie farmer with a hippy wife, tomboy daughter, and crippling regrets - receives a second chance to get things right with his deceased father. To make that happen, dead ballplayers walk, time unravels, and the universe, for once, connects all the dots. As, say, a 24-year-old, I scoffed at the solipsism and supernatural bent of the film. At 34, I know that more miraculous things happen each and every day for less meaningful reasons.

The road that leads to the Field of Dreams has been paved to accommodate “people coming.” The back road we took after making a wrong turn - a beaten path topped with crushed limestone that serpentines through cornfields and dairy country - somehow felt more appropriate. As I fumbled to hit play on the video on my phone queued up to say, “If you build it, he will come,” we saw the farm step out of the distance. The light poles, the cornstalks, the ball field, the lean right up to the Kinsella farmhouse that looks no different than it did nearly 30 years ago. To drive up to the ball field feels like stepping out of the corn in the film – to all of a sudden find yourself in a very different place, a place that feels magical if only for being so very out of place. He had come to this country illegally to escape starvation in Greece and become a citizen after serving in the military. He fell in love with baseball in 1960, the year Bill Mazeroski and the Pittsburgh Pirates shocked the Goliathan New York Yankees led by Mickey Mantle. Dad had taken him to Pirates spring training years ago and still tells the story of his 90-something father darting across an outfield to get a souvenir batting practice ball. For his 100th birthday, he had been the guest of honor at a Pirates game at PNC Park. Dad saw his father on the day he died, a couple hours before he passed away during a nap. As we tossed the baseball back and forth, I thought to myself, they got it right. And baseball had been a large part of that.

Playing catch in a cornfield takes your mind to places like that. Field of Dreams is about a father and son getting it right in the end; it's about second chances and the opportunities that can present themselves if someone will only take the first step. Watching fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, rotate across the field, take their swings, and pose like the ghosts emerging from the corn, I thought about how the same field that reunited Ray and John Kinsella onscreen was now allowing so many parents and children to get it right the first time around. Like my dad and his. Like my dad and me.

I thought about a lot between chatter as I took my turn driving home, leaving the Field of Dreams in our past. I'm now the age my father was when I first started sizing him up as a boy: using his leg as a yardstick to measure my growth, recognizing his daily arrival home by the crunch his pickup truck made as it climbed our gravel driveway, and learning what his large hand looked like clutching mine. It was also around that time I first overheard my father mention his holy triumvirate of successful travel: making good time, using correct change, and grabbing a bite to eat. We've joked about it for years, but not more than a week ago, I made a line of six or seven cars wait at least two minutes in a drive thru as I fumbled in a cupholder for seven pennies that turned out not to be there. The cashier rolled her eyes. Dad would've smiled – and kept looking for those pennies.

One thing I do struggle with is the decision I've made not to become a father. The thought that the game ends when Dad walks off into that cornfield, so to speak, saddens me sometimes. I feel like I have a great many innings left in this arm, far more than anyone can burn through merely as a son. But that falls on me then to find new fields, new games, and new ways to express love for others. That's what “a catch” is, after all. It's a way to say, “I love you,” even when the words struggle to come out – that is, when they need to come the most.

The words were never a problem for Dad and me, though. No matter how trying life could be, there was never anything between us that a few words over a catch couldn't fix. I'm thankful we've gotten it right so far and continue to do so by doing things together like going to play catch in a ball field built in a cornfield in the middle of nowhere in Iowa. While the games of catch may be fewer and farther between these days and shortened in both distance and duration, I know that they still matter and what they will mean to me even when I'm my father's age.

I imagine myself as an old man out in a cornfield, a park, or maybe just my backyard and hearing that familiar question call out: “Want to have a catch?” If I turn quickly enough, maybe I'll just catch a glimpse of Shoeless Joe Jackson, my grandfather, or Dad or hear the sound of a ball popping a fresh-oiled mitt. To me, that'll be a bit like Heaven. A dragging arm but no regrets.

My favorite thing to do is walk down the middle of Main Street both during the holidays to see the beautiful decorations and just normally. It makes me feel like I am actually there!

What is the best item for building your rooms?

This is tricky. Am I allowed to say glitched pixels? I use those a lot. I keep like, one-hundred of them in my inventory at all times so I don't run out, and I do run out of them rather quickly.

What has been your favorite game to host thus far?

What is your favorite mini-game in MyVMK?

Haunted Mansion. Who doesn't like catching some ghosts while pretending to be a ghost buster?

What is your favorite type of Guest Room?

The Beauty and the Beast Ballroom! It's so pretty and the music that plays when you enter it is just so perfect! <3

This is a tough question because I have so many. Sci-Fi Dine-In, Castle Forecourt, Fantasyland In The Sky; it's just so hard to choose!

The Magic Kingdom! It's so magical just walking around the park and seeing all of Walt Disney's creations.

Halloween Month

MyVMK is now playable on for our Mac users! A work around for Mac users has been made into a downloadable client. We have also made MyVMK Pal the official downloadable client of MyVMK. This is not the new client for MyVMK but is a temporary addition. Fing out how to download the Mac client by clicking here!

Available all month in the Golden Horseshoe Mercantile some things that have been dying to return!

Avast there mateys! Sail on over to the Pirates Treasure room for a chance to plunder some great loot! Collect them all or ye will be sent to Davey Jones Locker! Available all month!

1. The Haunted Houses MUST be named in the following way: “Haunted House [Username]”

2. When you register, ONLY PROVIDE your name, room name, and the email address connected to your in-game account.

a. Please note, if your name does not fit in the required room name please set it to just be “Haunted House”

3. The Haunted Houses will be judged in the following categories: Most Creative, Best Theme, and Best Overall.

4. There will be several First Prize winners and 1 Grand Prize winner from each category. The judges will decide what category your room falls under.
