What was the shiny thing on Gigamoon's mouth?

Gigamoon is aware he is frightening to some, so if he can help it he prefers not show his teeth or claws.

The shiny thing over his mouth is a mask. It is a waning moon shape to keep a constant smile on his face, but symbolically it is a need for rest (a need he has been neglecting)

Truthfully, Moony had been masking for a while. Thanks for the ask n_n

hi, same anon who was talking about showing people outside the fandom Gigasun and Gigamoon. Update;

I was a coward. I showed four friends the ask that was just you responding with Gigasun's face. I'll try to make this short, but their reactions in a nutshell:

Friend 1: 👁👁

Friend 2: ..oh.

Friend 3: ???????

Friend 4: Oh I thought it was going to be worse.

I want to show them the full images. That is the next step. Would you want a report on their reactions if I were to show them the true art..

Ok first thing's first: BWAHH SUPERSTAR DOGGY DAYCARE ACTUALLY GOT ME TO TEAR UP... WHIMPERS SO LOUD THE HEARTS... secondly reading through the Gigamoon Vision text on the comic where he and Sun link up like that... "not again" and all... oughh I have to wonder what happened to him (and possibly Sun too, whether by virtue of Eclipse or otherwise) to make him that scared?? SObs

Remember that this manicure was a gift from Lady D. The thing that GigaMoon was afraid of wasn't something distant. The GigaMoon form itself is a defensive/fear response, but not inherently violent. He would NEVER raise his own claws on ANYONE. What gave him tunnel vision and the inclination to lash out recklessly was his fresh eye injury from Lady D herself. She tore into his face so deeply his smile/moon mask flew off.

He continues to smile but he is in great and unfamiliar pain.

Moony saw her claws on Sunny's raised paw and in his hypersensitive state he thought it was aiming for his other eye. Moony didn't even realize he was facing Sunny until it was too late, he saw claws and didn't want to get hurt again.

He is not going to be the same.

hihi it's the same person who's been traumatizing showing my friends gigasun and gigamoon! Finally showed one of them gigasun, who already saw gigamoon.. she simply stared at him for a while before saying..

"..zip up those pants" and immediately walked away....

except I showed them Eclipse in a Suit/some of your Eclipse art and they liked Eclipse juihawjeiuaw- she likes the way you color them btw

I might come back and mention if I show any other friends, but I'm happy with the horrified amazed reactions from the ones so far.

but with their reaction to Eclipse in a suit... I might just be able to drag them down into the fandom.. or even get them to simp.....

hihi it's me the anon that wants to drag strangers into the dca fandom via your Gigasun and Gigamoon! Today I offered to show one of my friends the full image, and they asked if I was okay; if the "sun and moon jester things" had taken control over me. Building up to showing them, I was trying to get them to scroll through the google image results of fanart, for preparation. I convinced them, and showed them Sun first. Their reactions along the lines of:

Friend: "...uhm.." .. 😳...🤨..... 👁👁

I showed them Moon as well, the reaction being: 👁👁

also showed another friend Gigamoon, who's reaction was just: 👁👁

dude help I think they're judging us (the dca fandom)

Just want you to know I thank you for your contributions with Gigasun and Gigamoon. I have recently been wanting to tell my irl friends all about dca and for days now I've been holding back on showing them Gigasun and Gigamoon because I fear as though they will fear us all <3 it is both a blessing and a curse that only so few of us can admire the detail and hOURS YOU PUT INTO THEM? WHY? /pos
