Character Creation Questions

1: Origins! How did you come up with the concept for your OC?

Gin: Oh boy, this is kind of a long one. Gin actually started as a werewolf of sorts. puttting his story in a nutshell, he was a human kid who got so good at hiding from his bullies that said bullies decided to use him for their own wants. however, on their birthday, they send the kid to an abandoned house as a prank and a witch that was actually living there curses him…

pretty weird of a story and not well thought out. but i was 14-15 when i wrote that.eventually it change to just a kid that found a cursed object who turned him into this wolf furry. He’s my fursona though so one day i thought “you know what? I like Red Pandas better?” and switched him to one. there’s still one wolf variant i have of him though.

Jake: This one is a LOT simpler. i simply wanted to make the laziest character i could and… well, Jake, the fat bunny was created. To be quite honest i haven’t worked a lot on him

3: Has your OC gone through different incarnations during their stay on Tumblr? Were they reimagined or have they stayed the same all this time?

Gin: Yes, The whole story i mentioned in question one answers this. He was a werewolf, then a regular wolf furry, then a regular red panda furry.

Jake: No, Jake stayed the same for quite a good time… i might actually change something on him now though, because why not?

11: Is there a place they go to in order to escape the world, the stresses of life? What’s their favourite place?

Gin: Gin has an old treehouse that was built near a lake on a town he lives in. whenever he feels overwhelmed, they go there and isolates himself for a good while. many of his friends actually forgot this place so whenever he goes there, it’s like he went missing. it’s a place they’re fond of beacuse of a sense of nostalgia that it brings to them

Jake: Jake just locks himself on his bedroom, he rarely leaves the house anyway. the ‘odd’ part (or rather worrying part), is that, until he feels better or good enough to face the world outside, Jake stays there and doesn’t leave for anything, not even to eat.

16: What are concepts they value? Virtues? What do they look down upon?

Gin: Gin believes that, if you can help someone, you should do it and, also believes that if someone did you wrong, then they should be the ones to work for an apology. trying to paint yourself as victim isn’t something he appreciates

Jake: a lazy one’s way of thinking. just do what is enough, unless it makes you feel good.it really bothers him when people overthink stuff or try to make a thing “better” when it really isn’t needed

they kinda do it but that would go into NSFW territory, which i don’t wanna go into. that being said, they also have somewhat ‘safe’ Guilty pleasures

Gin: he really likes stuff that people don’t exactly enjoy and is kinda vocal about it. Like, he would be the type of person to like Sword Art Online, despite its countless flaws. They’re somewhat vocal about that, mostly because it means more stuff to talk about with people

Jake: … to be honest, i don’t think thought of any silly guilty pleasure that jake might have.

19: Have they ever been injured? Sick? How do they deal with it?

Gin: He injures himself quite a bit on his walks and hikes, nothing but minor scratches, bruises and cuts though. They just give it the usual treatment of washing the wound and putting a bandaid over it. he doesnt get that sick really

Jake: Jake is the opposite. he rarely ever gets injured, maybe by cutting his finger while slicing food or something like that. what ever sickness he might get, he just tries to live through it, unless it get serious, at that point he finally takes his butt ouf the couch to search for treatment

Jake: i think the only one is him and Cecil, a young goat that goes out of his way to visit the rabbit almost everyday

He’s pretty friendly and cheery, but a bit absent-minded at times. he doesn’t really like loud stuff either and he’s short-fused

He’s a Beast Mage/Druid. Basically learns his skills by bargaining with or mimicking monsters.

He became a Beast mage simply because he sucked at everything else. but found his talent when begining beast magic
