Google Glass for small business? Ideas include point-of-view videos through the eyes of an artist or craftperson, streaming real estate home tours for remote clients, and a quick and easy way to capture and post customer testimonials.
How would you use google glass to help promote small businesses?

It changes everything. I've never experienced something that disruptive, that "new". It's not really fashionable, but I really am wearing technology. It's an exciting feeling of surfing an early wave and having a quick look through the door of what will happen next... #googleglass #glassexplorer

Today is the day I get my Google Glass!
Most of my roommates work in the tech industry so conversations about tech related things is not out of the ordinary. I do not work in the tech industry but I love to learn about new things. My roommates are great for that. Late February one of my roommates told me about a Twitter contest to win Google Glass. Not having a clue what Google Glass is I asked “What is Google Glass?”
Once he explained to me what Google Glass is and the #ifihadglass twitter contest I immediately wanted to send a tweet in. I then get the brilliant idea that maybe I should send one in about where we live!
So I Tweet “To make a tv show with my 38 roomies we are tech ppl living in a #20mission, SF SRO #ifihadglass
One of my roommates sends a Tweet my boyfriend sends a tweet and I send one.
As roommates we have over the past few months always talked about filming the place where we live and wanting to share our experiences with the world what exactly happens at 20mission.
A couple months later I check my Twitter account to find a message saying that I was accepted into the Glass Explorers program. .
One of my roommates found out that I won the Google Glass and contacted me immediately about assisting with making a movie/documentary/television show. I was thrilled that almost all of my roommates wanted to come together to help make something to show what this place I live at means and what we represent.
I am excited for what is next. I plan to blog about my experiences with Google Glass. I am also planning to interview all of my roommates and share with you what I learn about everyone and my experiences with them.

I finally got my Glass today and I couldn't be more excited. I had a great time with my Project Glass escort Laura, who gave me a crash course in recording video. As we all know, Glass is still in beta, so when it comes to certain things like "zoom" you have to be creative. Check out this video to see how I solved the problem!
