You Are Never Alone:
Finding Comfort in God's Presence
Hey everyone, I wanted to share something close to my heart that I hope encourages you today. Have you ever felt like you're all alone, even in a crowded room? It's a common feeling, but I want to remind you that in Christ, you are never truly alone.
The Bible is filled with promises that assure us of God's constant presence, especially in our times of solitude or struggle. Let these words sink deep into your soul:
Deuteronomy 31:6 (KJV): "Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee."
Matthew 28:20 (KJV): "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
Psalm 23:4 (KJV): "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."
Joshua 1:9 (KJV): "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."
Isaiah 41:10 (KJV): "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
Hebrews 13:5 (KJV): "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."
John 14:18 (KJV): "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you."
Isn't it incredible to know that the God of the universe promises to never leave nor forsake us? When we feel alone, we can turn to Him and find solace.
Questions:
How does knowing that God is always with you change the way you face challenges?
In what ways can you experience God's presence more in your daily life?
Remember, dear friends, that God's presence is not just a concept; it's a reality that we can experience each day.
Your Personal Prayer: Father God, I thank You for Your promise to never leave me alone. Help me to feel Your presence more deeply in my life, especially during times of loneliness or uncertainty. Teach me to trust in You completely. In Jesus' name, amen.

"More"
I have seen the sun rise upon the mountains of Israel, I have seen the light of the moon illuminate the valleys of Judah, I have even seen the stars fall from the heavens! Yet never have I seen a wonder such as this, never have I beheld such a wondrous thing!…
I have seen a brilliant light, a perfect likeness! Behold, I have stepped into the fire! Yet instead of burning, I received understanding; and in place of my wounds, I received healing in this flame! What a wondrous and beautiful place! Such overwhelming, pure love in the light of His glory, consuming me where I stand, strengthening me as I fall down, my tears flowing as my life departs from me! Yet I do not die. Rather the presence of The Lord of Hosts rises up in me! Is this Heaven? Yes! It is The Kingdom! For before me is the likeness of a Man, bright and shining! He is beckoning me! I see the holes in His hands and in His feet, as I am pulled toward His open arms!
I am losing myself, Yet I feel as though I am being born; I was dead, and now I am alive again!…
The man I was passing away, As His life rushes in!…
And what more can I say? What more shall I ask of Him?…
Only this…
MORE!

Overcoming Fear with Faith:
Embracing God's Courage and Strength"
Introduction: In this article we'll discover the empowering journey of overcoming fear and embracing God's courage and strength, as revealed to us in the scriptures. Join us in exploring how faith can conquer fear and lead to a life of boldness and confidence in God's promises.
Scripture Passage: 2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV) Cross References: Joshua 1:9, Psalm 27:1, Isaiah 41:10, 1 John 4:18
Commentary: 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." This verse emphasizes that fear does not come from God. Instead, He equips us with power, love, and self-discipline to face life's challenges.
Joshua 1:9 commands us, "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." This passage reassures us of God's constant presence and encouragement to be courageous.
Psalm 27:1 proclaims, "The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" This verse highlights God's role as our protector and source of strength, eliminating the need for fear.
Isaiah 41:10 comforts us with, "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." This passage assures us of God's support and strength in every situation.
1 John 4:18 teaches, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." This verse explains that God's perfect love drives out fear, offering us peace and confidence.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, we come before you, acknowledging our fears and seeking your strength and courage. Fill us with your power, love, and sound mind, as we trust in your promises. Help us to embrace your perfect love that casts out all fear. May we walk boldly in faith, knowing you are always with us. Amen.
Questions:
What fears are currently holding you back, and how can you surrender them to God?
How does understanding God's presence and support help you face your fears?
In what ways can you cultivate a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind in your daily life?
How can you encourage others to overcome their fears through faith in God?
Exercise: "Faith and Courage Reflection Journal"
Objective: To help you overcome fear by reflecting on God's promises, cultivating courage, and documenting your faith journey.
Instructions:
Choose a Journal: Select a notebook or journal dedicated to your journey of overcoming fear and embracing faith.
Scripture Meditation: Begin each journal entry with a meditation on a Scripture passage related to courage and overcoming fear, such as 2 Timothy 1:7, Joshua 1:9, or Psalm 27:1.
Identify Your Fears: Reflect on specific fears that are impacting your life. Write them down honestly, acknowledging their presence and effect on your daily life.
Scripture Reflection: For each fear, find a corresponding Bible verse that addresses and counters it. Meditate on these verses and write down how they apply to your situation.
Prayer for Strength: Spend time in prayer, asking God to fill you with His strength and courage. Write a prayer for each fear, surrendering it to God and asking for His help to overcome it.
Affirmations of Faith: Write down affirmations based on God's promises. For example, "I am strong and courageous because God is with me," or "God's perfect love casts out my fear."
Record Your Progress: Document instances where you faced your fears with faith and courage. Note the outcome and how God's presence and promises helped you overcome.
Encouragement Notes: Write down words of encouragement and faith that you can revisit during moments of fear. Include testimonies of God's faithfulness from your own life or others' stories.
Regular Review: Periodically review your journal entries to see your progress and growth in faith. Celebrate victories over fear and acknowledge God's work in your life.
Benefits:
Encourages a positive mindset and builds confidence in God's promises.
Helps you actively confront and overcome fears with faith.
Strengthens your relationship with God through prayer and reflection.

#DailyDevotion Be Strong In Courage, Hopefully Waiting On The LORD
Tumblr media
#DailyDevotion Be Strong In Courage, Hopefully Waiting On The LORD Psalm 21 20You hide them in the shelter of Your presence, from the schemes of men; You keep them safe in a shelter from quarrelsome tongues. 21The LORD be praised for being wonderfully kind to me in a besieged city. 22I said when panic-stricken, "I'm cut off so that you can't see me,” but You heard me plead and call to You for help. David's praise here is a praise of faith. He has turned to the LORD for help and he believes he will receive it. It is interesting that he says, “You hide them in the shelter of Your presence.” This of course refers to the previous verse. “Them,” are those that fear and trust the LORD. What is interesting though is being hidden in the shelter of “Your presence.” Presence here is literally “face” but is figuratively “presence.” If you are in someone's face, you are present to them. Being present to someone doesn't usually have the connotation of being hidden but seen! But God's face, His presence, covers us, hides us, from the schemes of men. Shelter should bring forth the Exodus presence of the LORD who was present with the pillar of cloud by day and fire by night. That cloud covered the Israelites in the wilderness to protect them from the sun during the day. It also may bring the image of the LORD as a mother hen who covers her chicks with her wings to protect them. The LORD is protecting those who trust Him from the schemes of men and from quarrelsome tongues. We can hear Jesus praying this as He is before the Sanhedrin, Pilate and the crowds at the cross. Jesus is trusting the Father to shelter Him in His presence. David again praises the LORD who was wonderfully kind to him in a besieged city. Sometimes we feel besieged on every side. The devil stirs up men and women against us from every direction. It is times like this we need to put our trust in the LORD and call out to Him. Trusting in the LORD, He will cover us in the shelter of His presence, with His face. We may cry out with David, "I'm cut off so that you can't see me,” in a sudden panic. Remember as St. Peter, when he saw the wind and the waves begin to sink and he cried out, “Save me!” While it may seem like doubt at times, it is directed to the One who can save you, the LORD Jesus Christ. Better to cry out to the LORD in a panic than not to call out on Him at all. 23Love the LORD, all you whom He loves. The LORD preserves the faithful but pays back in full those who act proudly. 24Be strong and full of courage, all you who look hopefully to the LORD. We are called to love the LORD as we have received His love. We know He loves us because He sent His only-begotten Son to be our atoning sacrifice for our sin, not only for our sin, but the sin of the whole world. The LORD Jesus Christ does preserve the faithful. He keeps in the shadow of His hand. No one can take us from His hand. We see what happened to the proud in the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. Those living there at the time did not put their trust in the resurrected Messiah who is sitting at the right hand of God. Those who trusted Him left the city when they saw Jesus' words coming to pass. All those who proudly do not put their trust in Christ Jesus ultimately will be paid back in full for their sins. If you don't accept Jesus' payment by His blood you will have to pay the price yourselves. So be strong and full of courage as disaster, enemies, trials and tribulations come upon you. Look hopefully to the LORD. He will not disappoint you. You will not be ashamed on the day of His coming. Instead you will be magnified before all those who did not look to Jesus in hope and faith. Heavenly Father, continually keep us in the shelter of Your presence, so we may continually sing Your praises and Your Son, Jesus Christ, now and on the day of His revelation. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Read the full article
