i hate cloudberry for apprenticing goosekit two moons early and making him think that he can't change the future. she kept telling him that he has a wonderful gift but also he is powerless and can't tell anybody and this is totally a good reason to force him into child labor

Moon 94 Events

- Skystar and Shiver anxiously waited for the birth to pass, and just after four healthy kittens were born, they realized they hadn't thought of any names yet. They came up with the names Ternkit, Jaykit, Juncokit, and Goosekit.

- Gravelpaw went on patrol by himself and was attacked by rats! He fought them off, but ended up with quite a few scratches.

- Palmflower and Garlicroach offer NewtClan's medicine cat apprentice cobwebs when they come looking for help. The apprentice didn't explain anything further, leaving as quickly as they came.

- Weedclaw feels most like himself when he's around Palmflower. Palmflower thinks he is a distraction from her work.

- Larchstripe, Tulipnibble, and Wetthrift have an awkward encounter with a WindClan patrol, making relations worse.

Goosekit  

Surprise its kit week I'll only be posting kits this week since we haven't properly met any of them.

This is Goosekit, one of Elmbrooks kits. Goosekit is playful and a clown, there's nothing he loves more than making people laugh. He spends his days playing with his sister Mistykit and the other kits. 

Family tree

Mother: Elmbrook

Father: Flashpelt

Siblings: Mistykit (foster littermate) Bleedbelly, Swansong (sisters)

Other kin: Raggedheart (uncle) Dragtail (uncle), Woolcoat (grandmother) Plumshade (grandmother)

(design note he is based off of a canadian goose, but his personality is the opposite)

seriously though, Slumberpaw was found by Rosefeather, Splashkit and Gorgekit were found by Avocetface (med cat), Mottledpelt and her kits were found by more med cats, and Goosekit was also found on a patrol 😭

NettleBreeze but haunted by Mapleshade and instead of hating GooseFeather they are friends because he realizes GooseFeather was cursed by Starclan

So Nettlepaw, young apprentice, sees Frecklewish, all bitten and frothing, and thinks with horror, What Have I Done? He never speaks of seeing Mapleshade, of his unknowing betrayal, even though Deerdapple seems to know something. It wasn't your fault, she says, Mapleshade chose her own way. But it still burns.

So Nettlebreeze, newly fledged warrior, sees Mapleshade around every corner. Her eyes glitter like the Thunderpath after rain, her torn throat flaps like leaves in a storm, her fury palpable as a thick fog. Nettle becomes known as a clumsy and unlucky warrior, coming back from patrol with scrapes and bruises, being attacked by loners on the border more than any other. He takes her strikes as punishment from Starclan, penance for Frecklewish.

So Nettlebreeze, old and tired, sees this kit, talking to Nettle's old long-gone friends, and knows that Mapleshade will hurt this kit. Holding the kit close after Mapleshade strikes, he thinks, why did you give him this gift? The clan thinks he's mad! But that's not his fault! Starclan did that to him!

Starclan did that to both of them.

So after a long few moons of comforting the poor kit, after Goosekit is forced into the medicine den early, Nettlebreeze makes a choice. And a twoleg finds an elderly cat carrying a scruffy little kitten, and takes them home.

And one long-distant day, a little black tom, with one white foot, is saved from a woodland cat by an old gray tom. They make a home for the lost and the abandoned. When Goose passes on, Hope, a tiny scrap with sharp claws and a big heart, buries him in a twoleg garden next to another.

and he's been a donor before (for rosexfallenxloon) and he'd be more than willing to do it again
