May 14th, 1998:
I was the tender age of 16 when a certain Japanese game started making the rounds on the Sony PlayStation Console way back when.
So much time has passed since then, and this series has grown in to a deep part of my life as an individual. It's how I've met friends, rivals, found great music, and so much more.
To say the least, The Missing Link is special to me, but not just because of how everything began:
Guilty Gear still has a future... a future I'm alive to see after 26 years of watching it grow. And I'm not the only one.
Years may pass and this blog may one day go defunct, but even so I want people to remember the best experience anyone can have with a fighting game and with a music genre.
Happy 26th Anniversary, GUILTY GEAR...
KEEP ON ROCKIN'!

Annon-Guy: In the online manga based off the first Guilty Gear Game in StrIVe's Digest comics; Who do you think won each of the four paired up fights seen in the Digest Comic (Millia Vs. Zato, May Vs. Baldhead, Chipp Vs. Potemkin and Axl Vs. Kliff)?
I do know Sol Vs. Ky ended with no victor and Baiken didn't even appeer at the Tournament.
(I know it doesn't faithfully follow the game, but still)
Canonically speaking:
Zato wounded Millia but Zato was struggling with Eddie so he escaped. Millia had to leave the tournament before Justice attacked her, despite her wounds (also she was on the run from other assassins after that).
May fought Baldhead but he had flashbacks of the girl he was to operate on, so he couldn't fixate on May for very long and eventually ran away. May was a little confused by Baldhead and it was a little traumatizing at first (since she hates bald people on reflex) but years later she got over this and became friends with Faust, so it's all good. Shortly after May's encounter with Baldhead, she fought Justice and would have lost if not for her sudden awakening of mysterious power which made Justice realize she was Japanese. Justice was pushed back and forced to retreat temporarily after that.
Chipp lost in the tournament against Potemkin (why is anyone surprised at this?) He would later go back to training under his master's teachings (though he would give Potemkin and Gabriel a more serious fight later on in the Novel).
Kliff beat Axl but let him be, since he had to deal with Testament later... Axl ended up having a Time Slip not long after the tournament and ended up having to fight a past version of Kliff AND Justice at the same time. Axl would have to fight a future version of himself in order to return to a modern era.
Sol and Ky fought eachother briefly but Testament interrupted their duel and announced his intentions... Ky tried to stop him but was waylaid when he found out Kliff was mortally wounded. Ultimately it was Sol who put down Testament for good and went on to fight Justice and kill her for good.
By the way, Baiken was actually the FIRST person to encounter Justice after she broke out of her seal (according to Accent Core's telling of the events), but because Justice was too strong, Baiken had to retreat from the fight and held something of a grudge against "That Man" ever since for a long time.

Guilty Gear 1 is so funny!
This grants them the honor of being the only character that Potemkin has an infinite against!
