Hello from your fantasy friend! How are you doing?

I like to write about a lot of things, but one of the main themes that comes up really often in my writing is friendship and found family (I think loving that trope so much is part of what draws me to kpop, there are so many kpop groups where the members treat each other like family). I have kind of a mix of original fiction and fanfic - I prefer to write AUs when I do fanfic though because I like to do worldbuilding and come up with backstory and stuff 😁

Kpop does seem to have an extra element of "connection" to the artist, I've definitely noticed that - it's similar to boy bands like One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer or even the Beatles, though I think with the influence of the internet, the amount that it's possible for groups to interact with fans has increased a lot (being able to open up a VLive and chat and have people around the world able to tune in is wild, if you think about it) and I guess entertainment companies realize that you get a lot more money if fans are emotionally invested on levels besides just the music. It does seem like kpop artists do a lot more extra stuff (variety shows, etc)... I feel like there are probably more factors that I don't know about but I'd be interested to learn more!

Ah yeah I feel you on the awkwardness thing 😂 for me I think I would most like to hang out with Youngbin, Zuho, and Taeyang (I would love to hang out with any of the members honestly but I think those are my top 3)

For favorite friendships/pairs... I think I still need to learn more about them before I can say anything definitive, but some of the moments I've seen with Inseong & Dawon and Chani & Youngbin have been really great so I'm gonna go with those! And I think it would be really cool to have a track with Rowoon, Taeyang, Jaeyoon, and Zuho - their voices are all so cool and I'd love to hear more of them! Dawon and Taeyang together would also be awesome ☺️

Some of them make sense to me, but for others I can't think of why they would choose those ones (like Inseong's, Youngbin's, Dawon's, and Hwiyoung's). Is there an explanation of them anywhere?

friendship and found family are always nice to read about, i do think found family is one of the best tropes out there 😆 and omg yeah a lot of kpop groups are like a little found family 🥺🥺 im a sucker for it 😂😂

when i think about it i suppose it could also apply to other celebrities as well, what with gossip columns and tabloids and stuff like that. they are celebrities bc people are interested in them and inevitably some are interested in them more personally as well. and yeah i think the internet definitely plays a big part in all of it. now you have access to your faves with just the click of a button and you get updates from them just as easily as it is to chat with your friends it's cool but also you can see how people take it for granted and start feeling entitled to getting frequent updates and interactions with their faves. (not that im totally innocent, if dawon doesn't post for a week i lose my mind skgsksh)

i think another thing that influences it is that there is always new stuff going on so in order to make sure fans don't drift or get caught up in other things, they have to make sure there's a connection that keeps them loyal (and also why they have to put out so much content constantly.)

companies are all about money so im not surprised they've capitalized off the connections people make. I definitely feel like it's more evident in kpop (but again I've only really only stanned kpop so maybe it's evident other places as well) like the whole creating a fandom name and celebrating days together and whatnot,, there's probably more but im kinda just rambling at this point so i will stop there 😂

is there anything specifically you'd want to do with them? i really want to go out to eat with them 😂😂

omg that would be such a good subunit 🤩 rowoon taeyang and jaeyoons voices would go together sooo well and i love how zuhos able to produce tracks that really suit the members' styles. i think whatever they make would be a masterpiece 😍

SF9 Reaction: hearing trainees talk about their choreographer s/o

Requested:Yes! (Hey! Could you please write an SF9 reaction to hearing some trainees talk about how cute/hot his choreographer SO (sf9's SO) is? Hope I said it right, thank you!)

A/N: So I did struggle a lot with it. I had to keep stopping because after each member I would get a little writers block. But I did it, I got it done and I hope you like it! -Lushie 

Inseong

At first he would have the biggest smile on his face after over hearing them talk about you. Until it set in that they were saying how hot you were, stepping into the room making his presence known. Inseong told the trainees that instead of going around and telling people how hot you are, they should mention how you are an amazing choreographer. Then proceeded to agree that you were hot, but to not speak about you like that again because only he could do that.

Youngbin 

He didn't like it. Honestly Youngbin hated when he always heard people talk about you like that, with no respect to you as a person. He would talk to the trainees at tell them how talking about someone like that was a bit disrespectful. Asked how they would feel if someone random on the street said inappropriate things at them. That no matter who the person is, they should always be respected, and never made uncomfortable.

Jaeyoon 

SHOCKED. Boi would listen with his mouth hanging open, outside the door. You would see him and tell him to close his mouth and follow you, as you entered the room. The trainees would stare at the door in shock, not knowing he was there. He would send them glares. Pointing to his eyes and then at them he would mouth ‘Im watching you’ without you noticing. After you let he mentioned how he knew you were hot but to not talk about you like that again. 

Dawon 

Walking into the room unnoticed he heard the way they spoke about you. Letting his presence know, Dawon dropped the water bottle he was holding. The thud making the trainees look over. He stared at them with an ‘are you kidding me’ face. Walking towards them he he started off with saying if this was how they talked about people all the time. Was in the middle of lecturing them when you came in. Asking what happened he said he was just having a chat with them and he'd tell you later at home. 

Zuho

Like Youngbin, Zuho didn't like it all. He was furious, but at the same time he didn’t want to scare the trainees. He had no clue what to do. He knew you had to meet with the trainees soon, for their practice. He did not want you to be alone with them. As you were walking towards the practice room he stopped you. Letting you know everything he heard them say. You told him you knew about this. He asked why you never did anything about it or mentioned it before. You clearly let him know that you spoke to them about it already and how if you heard them speaking like that again training was going to get a whole lot tougher. Which it was that day. 

Rowoon 

He walked into the room as they were speaking, they froze at the sight of him. Rowoon motioned them to be quiet and pointed down the hall, where your laughs were heard. As you walked in you found it oddly weird how quiet it was. The trainees practice went on without trouble. You noticed how rowoon had his eyes on each of them. During their little break you had walked out of the room while Rowoon stayed there. He looked at each one of them before he spoke up. Asking who had said those things about you earlier. He told him never to speak about you like that before, or to let him catch them saying things like that again.

Taeyang

Shocked, when he heard them he was so shocked. He stared at them in disbelief. Going up to them he sat the trainees down and started to talk to them. He told them how disappointed he was in hearing them say things like that about someone, and how mad he was that the person they were talking about was you. Taeyang was being nice, not wanting to yell at them at all. He did mention it to you. You thanked him for telling you this, in return you yourself had a chat with the trainees. They became embarrassed knowing you knew now. 

Hwiyoung

He was ready to fight. Well not really but he was furious. He hated hearing people say that about you. No matter how many times he told people not to say things like that, it never worked. He was always so frustrated with it. You had told him people can't be controlled, they will always say things like this. You were used to it, even before you started dating this was all you ever heard. He insisted to always go with you to the trainees practice to keep an eye on them. 

Chani

He was left speechless, at a complete loss of words. He knew people talked about you, he just never thought he would actually hear some trainees speak about you the way they did. He looked at them in disbelief, and slight disappointment. He wished he hadn’t heard them. Now he was sitting face to face with them. Telling them that everything they were saying was wrong. How a person should always be treated with respect even if they aren't in the room. As you were outside the room you heard him say ‘yeah my y/n is hot but never speak about them like that again’. You heard a chair being moved back and then he walked out of the room in the opposite direction from where you were standing not noticing you at all.

Hey guys, I’ve been listening to k-hiphop and k-r&b for awhile now, so I figured it was a good time to compile a list of my favorite artists, my favorite songs by them, and what I think about them. Obviously, this is just my opinion and of course it won’t include EVERYONE that I listen to (even if I really enjoyed someone’s album or something like that) because that would genuinely be waaayyyy too long of a post. (im doing this to save both myself and you tbh so just nod your head and act like you agree with this statement thanks).

I have been a fan of Dean since the very beginning, so I’m really happy for him and how far he’s come. He is getting more and more popular and has been more and more active in the performance scene.I really like his flow and the command he expresses over his songs.

If I had to choose a favorite song by him I really can’t because I enjoyed the ENTIRETY of his first mini album, 130 mood trbl. BUY IT GUYS– IT BLESSES MY EARS SO MUCH.

IT’S TIGER JK, THE GODFATHER OF KOREAN RAP. WHAT KIND OF LIST WOULD THIS BE IF I DIDN’T INCLUDE HIM. I can’t even THINK of not including him. He’s such a good guy. Loves his wife, his kid, fights against child abuse, and  wanted to use hip hop as a form of discourse between the Korean-American community and African-American community after witnessing the  violence between Korean-Americans and African-Americans during the 1992 Los Angeles Riots as a teenager.

My favorite song by him is: Reset (ft. Jinsil of Mad Soul Child). (I know, a lot of people were expecting a different song, but this one really is my absolute favorite by him. I wasn’t expecting it and it just WHAMMED me.) Druken Tiger- Monster is a close second, though.

Now, for my bonus for him, I’m not including songs he’s featured in, but rather just MFBTY. I’m linking my favorite MFBTY song, Sweet Dream.  MFBTY (My Fans are Better Than Yours) is a group created between Yoon Mirae/ Tasha Reid, Tiger JK, and Bizzy.

TABLO

I’ve got to include this man who is adorably whipped for his daughter (the way I’m whipped for his works, lol). I love his works; to me, this man is a true poet. Every time I hear a work from him, I am astounded at the beauty of what he produces. While Tablo is the leader of the iconic Epik High, I’m including him on this list with his solo artist releases. 

My favorite Tablo song has got to be, without a doubt Bad ft. (Jinsil of Mad Soul Child). AAANNNNDDDD both of his solo albums, Fever’s End: Part 1 and Part 2. 

Bonus: Tablo covering Taeyang’s Eyes, Nose, Lips (in English) and making it even more of a work of art than it already was. 

MAD CLOWN

Favorite Mad Clown song? Hands down will always be Fire (ft. Jinsil of Mad Soul Child) <–have you noticed my trend of loving anything with her in it :D). The music video has Hani of EXID in it, bc last time I checked, Jinsil didn’t want to be in the MV. Other than that particular song, I thoroughly enjoyed Coffee Copy Girl. He says hilarious things on his tracks, too, (”roses really smells like poop”)  😂

Okay first of all, back then I adore Mnet very much because they always pay EXTRA attention to BTS (I mean they send BTS to America, er is that on Mnet, oh well it is because they were one time BTS lowkey diss Mnet tho) They somehow help BTS to climb up and cherish them. BTS love Mnet and even the ball head PD (I forgot his name because I have amnesia suddenly if its about MNet nowadays). But after the Billboard Music Award, hm... I know Mnet made the whole episode of BTS countdown and BTS comeback show but thats it I think. K-Armys, our beloved K-Diamonds, werent given any proper rest the whole recording and BTS were the one who feed them (Poor bbies) just to support the boys.

I have been with BTS eversince debut (cant you believe I grew up with BTS together for about 5 years? trust me, I was shocked to know that Kook is only a year older and I still cant believe until now lol) and its actually an emotional roller coaster ride.

I am a huge and loyal since 2009 YGstan and also a cute loyal ARMY since 2013. Why do I relate this two? Because Mnet have issues with my favs. First with the YGFams and now BTS ?

I see BTS everywhere at your channel Mnet. You know you are about to go down didnt you Mnet? You messed up with ARMYs with their votes, messed up saying E/XO name during AMAs (cough*by accident*cough) and when you're about to go down, you use BTS again to gain attention ergh.

Dont you learn anything from GD diss in 2014? GD clearly said Mnet and MAMA in his diss rap you dummies. Dont you stupid Mnet know why he diss you? Rumors said the diss was made because of the voting in MAMA. Back in 2013, GD win the Best Solo Dance for the song Crooked and he didnt expect it at all. GD knew that song doesnt have any proper choreography thats why. He feel he should stand up and correct this unfairness. He want Mnet or MAMA whatever to be fair in the way they give out the awards so no fights will occur. (This is my opinion and based on rumors, dont hate me okie) Next year in 2015, Taeyang manage to win Song Of the Year (which I think kinda fair because everyone seems to he singing thay song) and BigBang won Artist of the Year (when E/XO had always snatch that award so yeah, maybe its fair too because E/XO is quite popular?)

I am not hating on that particular group, I was a huge fan back then before the group lost its members making me lost interest. The thing is I hate it when people say Mnet is giving Big3 some gold tickets or passes to snatch the awards easily (You get me?) but its not. I mean YG have issues with Mnet sheesh.
