Can someone just fucking tell me if I'm autistic or not already I am so tireddd of being in limbo. When I bring it up w/ either of my therapists they both just go "What are you talking about! You can't be autistic, you talk to people all the time!" asjdkfkskfkglkv <- me going into a wood chipper

Like it didn't take me over 15 years of existence in this gay earth to understand how to talk to other people. & if it wasn't for my friends I literally would never have learned. AND I STILL DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO IT PROPERLY.

Another thing they point out is how I'm sooo polite and not blunt at all! Like yeah cause if I were rude/blunt about things I literally would be dead from suicide by now.

Or they talk about how I don't get sensory overload which I agree with but I also do not think it's normal to be eating something and all of a sudden feel so nauseous you start gagging. Genuinely don't know if it's related.

Also w/ expressing strong emotions via stimming, I have told my therapist about how when I'm extremely angry I start hitting my head with my fists and she was literally like "That's not normal. Stop doing that." LIKE? Ik it's not normal that's why I told you about it... and when I'm happy / excited I can't help but move my hands / jump / clap. It makes me feel so childish but I have convinced myself I just have a joyful soul in order to not succumb to the demons.

& I recently noticed how my thinking is um. Kinda rigid. I can understand literary metaphors / other indirect forms of communication when it's in a book / poetry. Because I expect it and make an effort to find & understand it. But when people just throw an unknown expression at me & I can't find it in my little dictionary I get so confused and just smile and nod. But I feel like that's normal even if my mom / sister say it's not.
