Like they hated reader for something that happened during elementary school between them. Reader and the Haitani went to the same primary school and high school,during the high school years they often teased her,of course she fight back with her words which kinda make Ran/Rindou's face red out embarrassment and for the end suprise me ;)

A childhood to remember

The relationship between the Haitani siblings and y/n wasn’t always sour.

You and the siblings were practically raised together, parents being friends and all. Being in the same age range as them, there were times where that played an obvious role. The childhood you three had would be one that was unforgettable and all 3 sometimes dwelled onto returning to the once carefree kids you were.

From toddlers to kids. Teens to adults. There were always some encounters that proved you were never going to part from them. That your fate will forever be tied to the Haitani’s, no matter what you do.

For instance, it was back when all of you still couldn’t read that Ran had something he shouldn’t have.

“Why are you guys holding hands? Didn’t you know?” The boastful kid Ran had been missing one of his front teeth, but he still looked as arrogant as ever even as a kid.

You and Rindou locked gazes at your intertwined hands, neither one willing to let go.

“Know what?” It was you who spoke up, glancing at the shorter Haitani Rindou that was next to you, wondering about the same meaning that Ran was trying to convey.

“Touching hands with the opposite gender makes you pregnant!”

“HA!?” Rindou violently shook your hand off, looking at it with a stupefied face. “I don’t wanna get pregnant!!!”

His panicking made you panic with him. Glancing at your hand, you grew teary eyed from the worry. Ran had a smile on his small face that said he was proud of creating the chaos. He had an idea that the scenario probably wouldn’t happen. But as young as he was, terrorizing people were what he did best.

A few days passed, and on that particular day you had a scheduled playdate with the Haitani siblings. The few days after Ran’s words you were on the verge of breaking. A young and naive mind like yours was easy to re-shape and manipulate.

Looking at the mirror, you noticed that your stomach grew larger. Instead of blaming it on the numerous amounts of sweets you ate, It was Ran’s words that plagued your mind.

Once you had been left alone with the two of them. The serious look of a 5 year old was never one to be underestimated.

“Hey…Remember a few days ago whenRan said we would get pregnant if we hold hands…well you told us late!” All eyes went directly to your stomach. The normal abdomen of a child caused both of them to stiffen then gaze at each other with looks of terror.

“Gah! Why’d you get pregnant!?”

“Because you held my hand!”

“Nuh-uh! You held mine first!”

“Does that matter!?”

“Uh- then why didn’t you stop it!?” Rindou never liked taking accountability. As shown by his actions when he was young. He always blamed things on everyone else. It wasn’t that he thought he was never wrong, but the heavy weight of punishment scared him.

“I don’t want it! Brother! Help me! Delete it!” He began to sob. Which caused you to sob. Which caused Ran to sob. All three kids were weeping in the living room of your home.

“I…” Ran felt guilty. He never said or did anything, but he knew what an older brother meant. It was the responsibility bestowed on him the moment Rindou was born.

“Then let’s get married y/n! If we do, nobody would suspect Rindou! And if they do just tell ‘em it’s mine!” Rindou cried more loudly. It was as if he knew how unfair it would be for his older brother. Oh how the most innocent minds could have the darndest thoughts.

Let’s just say…your parents had the time of their lives when all three of you came crying to them.

Fast forward a few years. Your age was close to turning to two digits. It was the time that the Haitani brothers were beginning to make their names known.

“Hey! You two! Stop it already!” You tried to break up the fight between them and one of the bigger kids. “I’ll call a teacher if you don’t stop!” And it was the time they began to find you annoying.

It wasn’t your presence that annoyed them, it was the fact that you wouldn’t let them do what they want. Which was violence.

Your annoyed gaze on them also made them feel bad. Like they were a couple of irrelevant bugs who’d bring nothing but bad luck. They began to associate you more with the teachers who told them they were never going to get anywhere.

“Come on. Don’t be a tattle!”

“Yeah, this is why you don’t have friends!” Rindou’s desire to become recognized was slowly developing. He was harsher than his brother, more ruthless.

The words struck you in the deepest parts of your heart. They both weren’t a gentleman. But you had thought you could at least trust them. You were suddenly thrusted into a bigger pond and you hadn’t settled yet. It wasn’t your fault you stuck with them most of the time, which were the two feared kids in the school.

Tears were dripping down your face and you haven't even realized it yet. But the brothers did. They froze in their tracks. Their guards were lowered from the bewilderment of making you cry which unfortunately led to them losing the fight.

As both of them lay down on the dirty playground bruised and beaten, you, who was at the side, walked closer to them.

“If I don’t have friends…then that means you never considered me one. Fine. From this moment on you guys are not my friends anymore!” You threw the pack of bandages at the ground they laid on, but it hit the side of Rindou’s face.

“...Whatever. It’s the Haitani brothers anyway. Not Haitani and L/n” said Ran.

“Yeah…We never need- hik! Euuwiwh-” Rindou couldn’t finish his words since the feelings he was trying to contain snatched his breath. Without another word, even Ran began to sob.

That was how the childhood relationship between the three of you ended.

A couple of years later. It was high school. 2 years after that accident and things were still frosty in the relationship.

They were wanting to get close once more, but never had enough will to actually do so. After all, delinquents were what followed their names now if you asked anybody in the school.

But still, they looked after you, your name were almost always on the award lists. Class president, best in subjects, most punctual and responsible. It was then that you were suddenly nowhere to be found.

They eventually forgot about you. That was until high school came.

“Transfer student? So what?” Ran muttered as he closed his eyes. Enjoying the breeze from the rooftop they weren’t allowed on.

“Can they still do that? It’s like the middle of the semester.” Rindou questioned, quite curious.

“They said she was hot!”

“I call dibs!”

“I doubt she’d want your ugly face…”

The puff of smoke from the people next to them was something they were used to. Nonetheless, they didn’t find it less annoying.

“Whatever, you guys are annoying.” Was all Ran said as he walked away. Rindou followed closely behind. They were walking down the school corridors, people were pushing each other out of their way which brought a sense of arrogance to their faces.

They hadn’t expected for someone to suddenly bump into them.

“Watch where you’re going.”

“I could say the same about you, what’s your body made of? Rocks? Gosh I hate people like you who think they own everything.”

A vein popped from the side of Rindou’s head. “What the hell did you jus-”

“My apologies. I seem to have hearing problems because I can’t understand your bullsh*t” A mysterious girl that suddenly came out of nowhere, disappeared out of nowhere.

The Haitani siblings were left dazed and speechless. Who would have thought an idiot would be able to cuss them out like that without fearing for the consequences. You thought you could get away with those words? Hell no.

They searched every nook and cranny. Interrupting numerous classes on their search for you. When hope was lost, they began to walk back to their class for the time being. Maybe they could harass their teacher to find out who that was.

As they opened the door. Once again they were left dumbfounded. There you were. On Ran’s seat.

“O-oh…Haitani. I thought you guys weren’t coming to class haha…this is our new student. Y/n L/n. I sat them there, please don’t blame them…”

It was you…

They never thought they would be able to see you again.

Looking at you now…you certainly grew like them. Albeit, you grew up so beautifully that they almost didn’t recognize you without the mud and corny hairstyle you had. All three unconsciously smiled at meeting each other again.

Surely, all hatches were buried now, or at least all the ice was thawed. A few meetings after and the bond between all of you could be considered unbreakable again. Though of course. Things change. Physically, mentally, that didn’t really matter that much. But none of you were the same innocent naive beings you once were.

Ran was always the flirty type, that didn’t change even if you were his childhood friend. “Hey, Do you have a band-aid? I scraped my knee falling for you.”

“Sorry, the last time I carried band-aids were back when two idiots thought they could say anything to me…so no. but I do have these things called ‘Standards’!” I guess you were still salty…

“I guess you're pretty now…or whatever…” Rindou tried to suppress the blush that was threatening to cover his cheeks which did nothing but move them to his ears.

“I can’t say the same about you…what the hell is with that hairdo?” …you became a little too fearless for your own good ehem.

Flirting, fighting. Teasing, sulking. Almost everything has become a routine now. You’d push and they’d pull. They were never going to admit it…but they were beginning to fall for you.

I’M POSTING THE OTHER THREE SEPARATELY, DONT WORRY BUD!

How do I feel about this character:

He is my precious baby, my love, my favourite character of Snk, already loved him even though he was barely present in the first season/first chapters of the manga, perhaps it was his nose idk why, I just fell in love with him and his character really grew on me

What do I like/admire about this character:

His personality and nose. He is easily overlooked, just a boring weak side character that is the colossal titan but I really like the fact about him that he was a warrior that seemed fail ..being a warrior. Well at the beginning anyway. It always seemed that he was the weakest of the titan trio, lack of aggressiveness, lack of any special traits/abilities, he was just big - hell the most intimidating thing about his titan was his size, perhaps his steam too but I really have the feeling that no one was really… S C A R E D of Bertolt Hoover.

He killed thousands, was a traitor, was a titan but he didn’t really have an intimdating presence, hell even Armin got close to him and provoked him like it was no big deal - you certainly don’t provoke a person whom you’re scared of unless you’re Eren, anyway I really liked the way he realized that he was doing piss poor job of being the colossal titan, a warrior from Marley, so he tried to change, put on mask, played a role and succeeded aka Predator!Bertl

What do I dislike about this character:

Hard to say but I’d go with his indecisive scaredy cat bitch-ass - of course I understand that this is his personality, I’m not the bravest person myself but it really annoyed me that one time when they killed Marco that he did nothing but just stare at the others. Reiner and he fucked up. They slipped up. It was their mistakes, yet Reiner was the one to take charge and even forced Annie to get involved. Hell, Annie even pointed out that Bertl was right there, able to help but he didn’t. Yeah not everyone is as determined/confident/dominant as Reiner or Annie but geez Bertl that wasn’t the first time you killed someone, perhaps first time killing someone you cared about but get yer priorities right, if you give Reiner bullshit about being a warrior and a soldie at the same time and so on, remember you did jackshit back then too and several other occasions as well. Reiner was overwhelmed with the whole situation. He fucked up but you did too, you could have done more to help Reiner - but yes you were overwhelmed as well .. so don’t be a hypocrite.

And his last moments, noopppppppppeeeeee.

Favourite moment for this character:

It’s either the moment where he breaks down and yells at the other cadets, explaining that he didn’t like killing people

the moment where he becomes a predator and intends to kill Armin, running straight at him with the intention of killing him, bitchslaps Mikasa with his leg and blocking her attacks and then leaving them like bye bitches

WAIT I REALIZED ONE OF MY FAVE PAGES IN THE MANGA WAS THE ONE WHERE’S BERTL FLYING IN THE AIR AND START TO REALIZE THE WORLD IS CRUEL AND TURNS INTO A TITAN - so yeah that one?

Reibert, Reibert Reibert.

I love it so much. my biggest OTP in the Snk universe.

Annie/Bertholdt - Although they never seemed close I’d really like them to be friends .. of some form..so lemme dream I guess?
