Reading that fucked up circadian rhythms post again after taking a test about cardiac rhythms and
To oversimplify it: your atria contract and then your ventricles contract. The atria set the pace and prime the ventricles. If something is fucked up with your heart's electrical system, the ventricles can set the pace, but it's much slower than a normal rhythm.
So that makes me think. If there's something fucked up with your eyes or your pineal gland (?) there's some secondary system that takes over, but it goes too slow. I don't have the expertise to say what it might be or how it could be altered, though.

in work drama updates: the person who outed me is the same person who’s been ratting people out to our supervisor.
This one guy joked about not working out his full two weeks bc he was so excited to leave so they went to management and told them that he straight up said he wasn’t going to show up on his last day so they sent him home half a week early.
Another coworker told them she was in the final round interviews for another job and they also went to management and they ended up firing her the same day
