Martha Stewart Halloween (2000’s) 🎃

I made a Halloween mirror! ✨(feat. a magical pouch and pony for the photo to cover up the mirror part for pictures)

I used a small mirror as a base, covered the frame with air dry clay and made it uneven for the texture. Also made some clay snake friends and a moon/stars. Used old bat and spider toys and some thrifted plastic crystals. Painted everything except the crystals in black, purple and silver for those witchy Halloween vibes I love. Put hot glue strings all over + some shimmery blue glitter glue on the strings for extra magic haunted house vibes. A fun project - I want to use it as a kind of base for a silver skull and crystals for my Halloween party!

My goal was to not buy anything new, only second hand stuff.

made a reverse bear trap for my halloween costume :)

didn’t use a tutorial for this, just used reference photos for the parts which were cut out of cardboard and taped together and then covered in papier-mâché (which i used party streamers for lol), painted, and then super glued together (with various found objects added on!)

i don’t really do DIY projects like this much, at most i’ll sew (which i also did for the shirt for this costume), so this was a huge deviation from my usual skills and was fun as hell and totally worth the super glue fingers!
