I still can't wrap my head around the fact that people read the woods scene between Eddie and Chrissy as a flirty romantic thing, when he was only being nice and goofy to calm Chrissy down since she was nervous, first about the vecna visions she was having (and only us the viewers knew) and second about probably buying drugs for the first time in her life.

Is every guy that's nice and goofy to you flirting with you? Interested in you? Please, be for real, he just didn't want to lose a client that was gonna bring him money.

Then we're in the wrong for reading Eddie as queer, first because of his costume design and the "hanky code", second because he devoured Steve with his eyes in the boat scene where Steve was undressing, third because he compared Steve to Ozzy, fourth because of the flirty "don'tcha big boy" and many other things that make him relatable to queer people.

Hellcheers should just suck it up and admit they're homophobic. "but i'm a hellcheer and i'm bi i can't possibly be homophobic" uh yes you can? Unfortunately there's lot of homophobia, transphobia, etc, within the LGBTQIA+ community, but i'm not here for this particular discussion.

Except for the hancky code that was disproved by the costume design, I agree about them trying to say that Eddie and steve hated each other when eddie was clarify flirting with steve.
