Mav says, "To- your dad. He hoped but- he knew. So he did what Tom Kazansky used to do, and he prepared for this too. Happy birthday, Baby Goose. " he smiles, watery eyes, and that way he tilt his head that, in Bradley's mind, will forever be linked to Mav searching for Ice in every room.

The package is small and he knows whater is inside it's going break his heart just a little more.

Not to be Sussex heavy but do you believe the cropping of the birthday photo was intentional? And were the Wales pressured into the birthday repost?

No, I don't think the cropping was intentional. They needed a photo of Harry and picked that one.

And for the record, no one needed to do a deep dive investigation to figure out when the photo was taken. It's right there in the photo: his hair was full and red-red, and there's natural happiness in his face - ergo, 2018, within a few months of the wedding because the light hadn't gone out out of his eyes yet.

Anyway, KP did to Harry what they did for Meghan's 40th. They used a photo of just her from an event where Harry was sitting next to her. No one complained that he was cropped out then. It's fair and equal treatment.

The Waleses weren't pressured into posting it. If the message had been signed W or W&C, then yes, they were definitely pressured into it.

But the tweet wasn't signed off with W or W&C, which meant a member of staff posted it, probably from their own bed on Sunday morning in their own flat miles away from Adelaide Cottage where William was being SuperDad so Kate could have a lie-in. The only involvement William had was probably an instruction to the intern on Thursday or Friday to repost BP's message.

And note that over on Instagram, the Waleses reposted BP's message as a story, so...you know.

In a way, what the Waleses did was probably even more insulting than not doing anything at all. Not doing anything at all, Harry can then go on a weeks-long sobfest crying to Oprah, Anderson Cooper, and Tom Bradby about how no one cared. But making the barest minimumest of effort - reposting someone else's birthday shoutout with the same exact text (and not even adding an emoji!)? It's essentially saying "I forgot till someone else reminded me and you're not worth the effort for a personalized message"

Let's be real, guys: how many of us forget about people's birthdays till we see the notifications on social media? And how many of us just send a generic "Happy birthday! Hope you're having a great day!" message when we see it? That's basically what the Waleses did.

It's still the filling of a shit sandwich because now Harry can dine out on this story for a couple of weeks (as we've seen them do already) and it puts a little bit of royal shine back on the Sussexes and extends their 2 minutes of fame for another year.

One of the reasons people seems to hate Tom and (to a lesser-extent) Sabine is because Tom is named after Thomas Astruc and apparently Sabine was named after a girl he used to go out with (or had a crush on, I forgot how the story goes). Which can be seen as creepy, but considering how the characters actually are in the show, seems to be done more on some sort of principle rather than actually any problems with how the characters are written.

One artist even came up with an AU in which they both divorce and she gets together with an OC of the artist's, with the backstory of why being because Tom defended his racist father.

Okay those are both pretty bunk reasons to hate Tom and Sabine. And having Sabine divorce Tom because of him defending Rolland is just... yeah that's just making stuff up in order to demonize Tom. In the show Tom wasn't even the one who was in contact with him, SABINE was!

Sabine: Oh, come on now! It really is a shame, Rolland! It's your son's 40th birthday today! (Marinette gets an apple from the refrigerator and bites it.) And, uh, I know how much Tom would love it if you- (Rolland hangs up and Sabine gasps) Oh... Marinette: Is that my grandfather again? Sabine: Yes. Marinette: So he's definitely not coming, then? Sabine: I did everything I could. It would've made your dad so happy. He doesn't talk very openly about his feelings, but I know he's sad that he doesn't see his own father anymore. It's a shame.

I hate when people just blatantly make stuff up to demonize a character they don't like that actively goes against canon.

The fact that Evan dated Frances I think was random, I don't think it means that he's been looking for young girls with a magnifying glass because it doesn't even seem to be a pattern, like in the case of Leonardo Dicaprio for example. I mean it's possible that some men at some point in their life have dated someone 10 years younger and it's not always because there's a frivolous reason or some sort of fetish behind that, and I'll give as an example another actor who I'm also a fan of, Tom Hiddleston in 2016 dated Taylor Swift eight years apart, Tom at the time was 35 and Taylor was 26 (same situation with Haley and Evan for those who think Haley is too junior for Evan) the point is that Tom didn't date Taylor because he was after someone younger, they met casually and apparently at least on Tom's part he seemed to have a real interest in that relationship. Now regarding saying that Evan is single at 36 from a somewhat negative connotation, here I will also make an example of Tom because after the relationship with Taylor, he was single until his 38th birthday, it was in late 2019 that he started dating his co-star who is currently his fiancée, he got engaged at his 40th birthday, he is four years older than his fiancée and last year they had their first child and mind you I am not saying the same way it will happen with Evan, maybe as expected in a while we will see him with someone or dating someone else before he meets his end game or maybe the opposite will happen and he will decide to be alone for a good while, whatever it is. My point is that making these prejudiced comments regarding a certain age in someone, if it's offensive to us as women to have these ageist comments about women like "they are better when they are younger" or "if they are not married or single at a certain age it's because of this and that" then why make these comments with men or all people in general? Why speculate on age and say "if you are single at this age it's because maybe you are not good at intimacy or you are not good at this or that"? Simply someone can be single by choice or because they can't find someone special. I think the important thing for everyone should be to be able to be happy regardless of whether we have a partner or not, and whatever age we decide to have a partner, there are people who settle down later in life, we don't all have to get married in our 20's.

i think it’s fair to say that it’s still to be seen whether evan dating much younger will be a trend. quite literally, only time will tell. but i mean, to be fair.. since emma, all of his girlfriends have been at least 8 years younger 🙃 halsey, frances, haley.. while they are old enough that it is not creepy, that’s not exactly the conversation we are having. it’s more so about men in general preferring younger women. there is a reason no one bats an eye at men dating women half their age but if a woman does it, it’s a huge deal. but i agree there’s no reason to start assuming negative things because someone is single at 36, or any age for that matter. everyone’s trajectory is different and not everyone will want the same things out of life. the concept of needing to be settled with a family by a certain age is an antiquated way of thinking.
