Moon Twentyseven

Greenleaf - 20 cats

Hawkstar and Dovecurl go on a hunting patrol together when Dovecurl is struck by a monster. He's surprisingly alive, but Hawkclan is very shaken up by the entire situation. Hawkstar seems.. strangely unworried. Pigeonwhisker dislocates a joint while climbing a tree.

Dovecurl with a broken bone, Pigeonwhisker with a discolated joint, Dustpeak with a broken bone, and Owlclaw with a mangled tail. Medicine cat den is FULL right now.

Moon Twenty Five

Newleaf - 20 cats

Hawkstar feels recovered enough to resume leadership duties, leaving Mistkit and Ravenkit to be cared for by Rivershade and Lightsmoke. Hawkstar feels nothing but pride watching her two kits tumble around the camp.

Dustpaw receives their warrior name- Dustpeak. The ceremony is warm and sunny, and Dustpeak basks in his clanmate's support. Dustpeak was originally from another group of cats but came to Hawkclan as an apprentice.

Sangria steps forward and says they'd like to stay in the clan, and chooses the name Wineglass for themself, saying it's something their former twolegs enjoyed.

Moon Twenty Four

To the clans surprise, Lightsmoke, Hawkstar, and Rivershade all become mates to help raise their new kits together. The joy they feel is contagious, and soon the entire clan is accepting and excited for their new relationship. A few older cats grumble that the Mediator is only dating the leader and deputy for power reasons, but Rivershade snarls at them whenever this is brought up.

Lightsmoke, Hawkstar, Nightshade (polyam cats lets GOOO) Patrols Goldsnap and Sparrowheart attempt to go hunting together, but Sparrowheart keeps getting distracted by the way the sunlight gleams off of Goldsnap's fur. They spend most of the time sharing tounges under a dappled canopy.

Goldsnap and Sparrowheart are affectionate any chance they get, its kind of adorable. Totally rooting for them.

The poly trio was not expected! I'm glad Hawkstar has two mates to take care of them after their birth <3

Moon Twenty Three

Hawkstar's kits are doted on by the entire clan, and spend their first months playing in the camp surrounded by loving cats.

Mistkit and Ravenkit

A former kittypet named Sangria joined the clan, promising to take a warrior name when they were more familar with the clan.

Moon Twentytwo

Hawkstar has welcomed two beautiful kits- Mistkit and Ravenkit. While neither cat openly admits it, Rivershade spends most of the moon in the nursery taking care of Hawkstar and their new kits, and discussing how to co-parent the two of them. Patrols

Pigeonwhisker takes Talonpaw hunting. While Talonpaw is distracted most of the patrol, he manages to catch a fat squirrel, and takes it to Sharpkite.

Moon Twenty

Brownfeather goes hunting alone and is found dead, attacked by some larger animal. The clan is stunned and all cats find their own ways to greive. Eggspot, Brownfeather's mother, is especially torn up, and spends most of the moon in her den. Hawkstar, a little nervous that Hawkclan's distance to Starclan would make it difficult for Brownfeather to reach them, but Pikeriver has a dream where she meets with Brownfeather, and the two she-cats explore the new Starclan hunting grounds. Brownfeather is lonely, but enjoys watching Hawkclan from above. She shows Pikeriver the Startree, a huge dead tree that turned white after being struck by lightning. Here the medicine cats can communicate with Starclan.

Hawkstar announces a pregnancy, but refuses to name a father. She doesn't move to the nursery yet, but is going on less patrols.

Nightfern gets their warrior name, immediately comes down with a bad case of greencough the next day. Pikeriver is worried about them, but hope the young cat can recover quickly.

Moon Seventeen

Dustpaw and Nightpaw

Talonkit appears sickly, suffering from constant headaches and stomachaches. Sparrowheart and Pigeonwhisker come across a young loner who begs to join the clan. Dusty takes the name Dustpaw, and Flightstorm begins mentoring her. Later in the moon, Hawkstar comes across an injured loner named Soot, and offers herbs and care in the clan. Soot follows Hawkstar, and is so grateful for the care they join Hawkclan, and take the name Nightpaw. Hawkstar decides to mentor Nightpaw, and Nightpaw settles into the clan well.

Moon Twenty-one

Hawkstar finally feels ready to move into the nursery- She's very nervous to have to give up her duties while she rests, but her faith in Lightsmoke is very strong. She spends most of her day resting in the entrance of the nursery, watching the clan go about their day, filled with pride of how far they've gotten. She knows her kits will be safe and loved in her new clan, and she can't wait to meet them. Her restfulness has made her restless, and she plays a silly prank on Nightfern, pretending that the new warrior is part fox and convincing Pikeriver to play along, if only for a few minutes. Nightfern appreciated how playful her older leader can be. Talonkit is made into Talonpaw and is apprenticed to Pigeonwhisker. He's a little shy during the ceremony, keenly aware he has no kin in the clan, but the clan welcomes him with prideful yowns of Talonpaw. The clan is all about survival, and Talonpaw survived to join their ranks.

Talonpaw and Pigeonwhisker Pigeonwhisker and Talonpaw go on their first training patrol together, and during their tour of the territory come across what might be a currently inhabited badger set. Talonpaw suggests covering the entrance with rocks and coming back tomorrow to see if a badger has cleared the entrance. Pigeonwhisker is impressed with their creative idea, and they work together to dismantle the entrance to the set. Owlclaw and Goldsnap go hunting together, and end up bringing in an impressive amount of freshkill together.

Moon Eighteen

A local group of cats calling themselves The Order of the Lake has extended their territory until it almost borders Hawkclan's. A dispute as broken out as Hawkclan wishes to also expand towards them. Border skirmishes are becoming more frequent.

Talonkit and Sharpkite

Talonkit is growing into a lively young kit, and has become interested in lore and stories. He spends lots of time in the elder's den, listening to Sharpkite, who recently retired as the first clan elder.

Lightsmoke oversleeps and Hawkstar gives them a small lecture. Hawkstar is a little worried for Lightsmoke, they seem to be slowing down with age.

Patrols

Buzzard and Pikeriver go on a short patrol collecting herbs, and find plenty of thyme. Buzzard asks questions about clan culture, and Pikeriver is impressed with their nose for herbs. Dovecurl and Goldsnap go hunting, and instead find a fox eating a rabbit. An attempt to drive off the fox is made, but Goldsnap is nervous, and the cats go back to camp empty pawed but uninjured.

Hawkstar is a brown tabby with blue and green eyes along with a long tail she tends to flick when thinking to herself. She holds herself to high standards, and has started to see the clan as a reflection of herself- It's hard not to do when it's practically named after you.

Lightsmoke, the deputy, is a large marbled white tom with pale blue eyes. He has long, soft fur that he spends a good amount of his day taking care of. If it wasn't for his intense loyalty to Starclan and Hawkclan, it have been a bit annoying, but instead he contuined to prove his worth on the journey, securing his spot as deputy of Hawkclan.

Pikeriver is a speckled she-cat who was a medicine cat in Riverclan before receiving the hawk omens. A tad unexperienced, she relies on her steady link with Starclan to learn new healing.

yay! Welcome to Hawkclan! I've been wanting to upload a clangen story for a while but didn't know where until I started using tumblr. I doubt anyone will follow Hawkclan very closely, but thank you if you are checking us out! This is mostly just a fun project for me to easily track my progress :3
