Heather Watches SG1 s7ep13: Grace

Hello friends! I asked on twitter which one you wanted to see next and this was the one so.. I genuinely really enjoy this episode but I don’t think it would be top five? The Kiss TM obviously is up there but its so... sad.. BUT I think its a beautifully shot episode and the director is wonderful. Also if I ever meet Damien Kindler, I have a list of questions. 

I watched this a few weeks ago but am posting it today (11/085/2020) because I forgot I had even typed the notes until the other night when i asked. 

As always, I swear quite a bit but I also cried quite a lot in this episode becuse well I’m a hopeless romantic, I love Space Dad and I had just been dumped so all the angst hurts haha

also also, I leave most if not all my typos in here because I think it makes it funnier and I don’t usually look at my keyboard when I type so I make mistakes. I’m not perfect at touch typing by any standard and I still don’t do it properly anyway.

Final Thoughts: 

I literally cried three times in that episode. Normally its once with Jacob’s scene but this time it was every time Jack was there too. I think my recent breakup is making me soft and all I can handle right now is fluff. Anything else hurts. 

I love that episode with my entire being but fuck me does it hurt

Also who or what is Grace? I have SO many questions. 

Its a beautifully shot episode though

And Amanda’s acting is ace. So is RDAs.

This is the saddest scene in Entitiy. 

Why you might ask?  Look at Jack’s hand. Then his face on a second watch through. He is reaching for her and then realises part way that he can’t.  He feels such relief that she lived after what HE did, but also sadness and guilt over what he did. He wants to hold her,  know that she’s alive and real and not dead, so that he can breath again. 

Its such an interesting acting choice by RDA. We know that it wasn’t that long ago that they admited their feelings for each other but it looks like those feelings are still going strong. I can’t believe there are people who think it was one sided from Sam! 

I’ve seen other people say it and I 1000% agree that Jack would not have bounced back from this is Sam had of died. Breaks my damn heart.

Sam looked surprised when Jack arrived because she clearly didn’t know he was visiting. I have fluffy head cannons of what happened when they got home .

I can’t stop smiling at the wedding and the way she says Jack.. its so cute! And that look she gives him like “we can’t say a word but thats already happened” lol

ALSO Jack snapping that Cam and Vala weren’t there and that everything after fishing was pointless was just a really nice way of saying “Sam and I have been together since we went fishing but Cam and Vala (because she can’t keep her mouth shut) don’t know that yet but also everything else doesn’t matter because I have Sam now and thats everything”.

On todays episode of Heather doesn’t have anything better to do with her time and wants to re-watch episodes she’s seen 8 times/in the last 2 months, I will be rewatching Broca Divide and giving my thoughts in the form of dot points.
