Got lots and lots of solenoids?

We were chatting with a customer and realized we need a better solution for customers with many solenoids or other high-current on/off loads. This breakout will make it easy to control and power many inductive or high-current loads. An mcp23017

expander over I2C provides 8 output pins, each connected to an AO3406 N-Channel FET

Terminal blocks allow for quick wiring to power and each high current output, including one chunky block for the power input. The other 8 expander I/Os are exposed if you want buttons or simple LEDs. The breakouts have stemma QT for fast chaining/control over I2C.

         SHE   knew this was a bad idea... !  ‘Oh wait, I’m not asking, you have to come,’ Sun says --- ‘wear something cute,’ Sun says --- and where is everybody ??  Nowhere ! She didn’t  NYOOM  home after work, actually follow directions and change into something nicer --- hole-free and everything ! --- and  NYOOM  back down to the boardwalk’s midway for nothing, right ?  It was bad enough knowing Neptune would be there --- making this the first time since... ‘The Incident’... That they’ve been face-to-face... 

         And before she knows it, Ruby’s stomach is in knots again. She’s about inches away from shoving some Dust at the nearest boardwalk game that involves hitting something --- anything. For now she settles for pacing instead, Crescent Rose bobbing to and fro against her back as her hand rubs at the back of her neck. Autumn means cooler weather and shorter days; the sun’s already working its way lower and lower beneath the waterline ( is Neptune even aware where the Boardwalk is ?? He knows it’s... by a bunch of water, right ?? ), and as a chilly breeze blows in off the shore, she’s suddenly very glad she opted to swap her trusty old cape for Cassandra’s heavier... Admittedly nicer-looking one. 

         The only thing that can keep her from wearing a hole into the wood with her boots is a familiar shock of blue --- towering pretty easily over the majority of the crowd. Ruby immediately skids to a halt, and a surge of heat ( and mild nausea ) shoots up all the way from her toes. Her stomach’s in knots all over again, a feeling that only intensifies when she notices a distinct lack of blonde, monkey-tailed company with him. Temporarily her nervousness is forgotten in favor of annoyance --- she has a sneaking suspicion that she’s figured out exactly what’s going on here, but she doesn’t want to jump to conclusions... So instead she throws up her hands in an indicative, universal ‘What’s the deal?’ gesture.

          HE   already knew that, of course --- everyone knows that boyfriend/girlfriend privileges are left at the gate when it comes to competition. The stakes were high. How high ?  They don’t even know yet !  To be determined. But loser would definitely have to buy something. ... Probably food, if Ruby won. 

          She’s never been in the Intraspace before, which was really a shame; this kind of thing was right up her alley !  But this should be like Dario Kart or something, right ?  If so, she had this in the bag. Customizing her kart to be as appropriately color-coded as possible ( as much as she could at her newbie level, anyway ) definitely boosted those chances ! 

      ❛   I know what you’re thinking. ‘Does she have four tricks up her sleeve, or five ?’ Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kinda lost track myself. weiss is surprised, and it’s two-fold: first, to find out that neptune is also here, and second, he’s asking if she’s going to this supposed “isolaween” party coming up. it’s nice to see him and all, but of all the things for him to ask about on first meeting —

well. it’s a start.

still, he’d better not think she’s forgotten that he turned her down the first time around. granted, he did manage to make up for it later on during the beacon ball (and had turned out to be a fairly decent conversationalist, at that), but… well. maybe she was being a little too harsh and grudging this time around.

‘yes… yes, i have. i haven’t even had time to come up with a costume yet.’ that’s a lie — she’s been thinking about it since the day she received the invitation. still, despite her better nature, weiss doesn’t want to appear overly eager.

It sounds pretty serious. She touches her forehead to see if she feels the temperature rising, instead she only feels the cool metal of her circlet. So rather she palms her cheeks to feel any heat.

            IT’S   the first thought she has ---- find him. 

           Well, that’s not entirely true; she has a lot of different thoughts mingling around at the moment, a muddled and murky mess of memory. Panic is perhaps the most prevalent emotion, and she’s not afraid to admit that --- but she is afraid her eyes will just go haywire again, and that spurs her to do something she can actually control. And after everything she’s seen, the mistakes she’s already made... The truth is the only thing she can really control, isn’t it ? 

           Ruby had been in Golden Ward already when she had found herself smack dab in Remnant --- and from there her memories diverge into two distinct paths: before and after. The ambiance of Spirale had roared back to life almost immediately, but all she can hear is the thumping of her own heart and the crackle of preternatural thunder above Mantle. She’s a blur, airborne --- a rose-colored bullet twisting and contorting her way to Neptune’s apartment. She has no patience for running. 

              ❛   Nep---- Neptune--- !   ❜   

           It’s a pretty hectic, noisy entrance; the door flings open, petals rush in, and her voice is sharp and shrill above the din. She’s pretty sure she knocked a couple of things off the wall, and she’ll be sure to fix that --- she’ll need something to do with her hands while she talks anyway. She feels relief to see him there, unharmed and completely the same, but it does nothing to ease her adrenaline. She’s pretty sure her pupils are fully dilated right now, if they’re cooperating in the first place. 

              ❛   We need---- We need to talk --- I need to talk ---- to you... !   ❜   She braces a gloved hand against the doorway, doing her best to catch her breath --- not so much from the exertion of getting here as it was a leftover reaction to what she’d left behind. It feels like everything else is moving really, really slowly; it feels like her mouth can’t possibly catch up to her brain.   ❛   About ---- about everything... And about Sal---Salem... !   ❜

It didn’t exactly take a stretch of the imagination to know the first thing that would go haywire over there would be the sea level. It’s only thanks to her training with the Ace Ops that she doesn’t need to rely on her semblance to get there faster --- but that also means she has to take a quick breather, hands on her knees with the Boardwalk just barely in her line of sight. 

        Yep. Tide’s high. ... Like, beyond high tide. Way beyond !

           ❛   Oh. There he is !   ❜    She’d recognize that cartoonish, short-yet-shrill squealing anywhere. Doesn’t sound too far away, either... !

     Curiosity still calls as strongly as it always has to Ozpin. The opportunity to watch as others built their own machines and devices using the technology of Fibonacci isn’t one he can pass up, not when he lives so close by anyway. Of course, he’s considered perhaps building something himself- something close to the gears and mechanisms that comprised his old office, but for the moment he’s content to just take in the creativity of others.

At least until he spots a familiar head of blue hair and pair of goggles catches his eye.

There’s a moment of hesitation, the unfortunate new norm whenever approaching anyone from Remnant these days, but eventually he presses forward to walk up beside the young man and see what he’s working on in this sea of creation.

“Mr. Vasilias,” Oz offers in amicable greeting, “Didn’t expect to see you here. Enjoying yourself I hope?”
