Yes, I'm well aware of that. Adoriel's lacks family interaction, I think I unknowingly remedied the problem in HITC but my desire to rewrite Adoriels also came from there.

Thanks Anon. It's good to have a few messages that appreciate Heavy is the crown as much as Adoriels because I've put, am putting and will put the same passion into both when the time comes.

IM IN LOVE WITH THIS STORY AND THE CHARACTERS. Anger little mc can experience but can't control in their circumstances makes my heart explode.

This loneliness and isolation in so young age…Scenes with inner rage, hurt and resentment are a real masterpiece (this metaphor with lion in cage omg!!) and the phrase in the preview which goes for both mc and their family is so poetic (i want to scream about how excited it makes me feel): The people who love us the most sometimes the ones who hurt us the most.

My inner angst lover is satisfied.

So I was inspired to create something that can express my mc's inner thoughts. It is my first poem in English so I am very open for any sort of criticism.

(I hope I can do some fanart in the near future too.)

Now I understand why it's called Adoriels Tears because I'll be feeling ready to cry when I am forced under duress to abandon beloved stuffy plush that has been there since the beginning! I come with shattered heart in hand to offer what is left of my heart and dignity to plead with this author for a tiny scrum of sympathy and mercy to give beloved stuffy animal plush a noble send off for their sacrifice in this bloody war.

(pss: jk but seriously did make me sad to have that option you monster 😭😂 not saying I want this to happen but if stuff animal plush does get trampled or burnt to the point where it's unrepairable, can mc or one of the adults take a piece of it like an arm or eye to add to new stuff animal? Something like a new start for a new mc that's definitely changed from this experience?)

Loki is my favorite Marvel character. My favorite. He hasn't inspired any of my characters, but he reflects my state of mind. I'm not Loki, but I am Adoriel. The goddess of my imaginary world and I love playing you!!!!

I wanted to talk.

As you can see, I wanted to talk about this scene in particular, because I received a few ask that made me a little uncomfortable.

Adoriel's Tear is a story about hope, acceptance, courage and perseverance. Basically, it's a story about taking the hardest path for us humans to take, where burning everything to ashes, giving in to our evil impulses (pushing someone into a well….) is easy.

So yes, there will be an evil path in my story, but be warned, it won't be pretty and it's certainly not the one I hope the majority of you will choose, so yes, of course your Mc can have anger, and resentment towards Arthur, Tobias and the whole world. But I thought I'd said enough about the influence of voice on Mc. Mc is an easily manipulated child over whom the voice has a hold, amplifying everything Mc feels.

All this to say that I have the impression that some of you thought I'd written this scene for the sheer pleasure of tormenting Arthur, but that's not the case! It's a warning scene: this is what can happen if you choose wrong (basically.) And you're ready for it?

Hope is hard. And it's the path I prefer for Mc, which is why I've put exit ropes left and right. It will have an evil path, but take my word for it, it won't have a happy ending.

Did I screw up with this? Am I making sense?

hi, I love Adoriel's Tears but I would rather read heavy is the crown and see the passion you put in to it through the game rather than Adoriel's Tears knowing that it’s more like work for you rather than a hobby. No matter what that poll says I think most of not all people feel the same, so please don’t beat yourself up for it and continue on what makes you feel happy. All love Bloody😘

I wouldn't say that writing Adoriel has become a job because I love the story, I think my disappointment lies in the fact that I thought Heavy is the crown would generate the same enthusiasm. I was so sure of myself. I feel that this story is being misjudged, that it's not being given a chance, and that's undermining my morale a bit. Fortunately, as with everything, it'll get better later.

Lately, while I've been working enthusiastically on Heavy, I've had very little interaction with it and a lot of requests for Adoriel's, asking when I was going to update the story.

I wasn't lucid and here I am with my head in the water.

So that's what I plan to do, rework Adoriel's for a while and get back to Heavy is the Crown from time to time. (Maybe delete some Mc's for this one to lighten my workload) and I still plan to show you Under the Rose's Shadow which is based on my dystopian novel.

I know you aren’t exactly…proud/pleased about this IF but I absolutely adore it. Like I can honestly say that this IF (in my opinion) a lot better than heavy is the crown (I still love heavy is the crown, but I so far think it’s a bit cheesy for me. However I still really like it). I’m so happy you decided to at least try to work on it, have a good day.

I just think the story could be even better, but I'm a garden writer and not a writer who plans everything, so sometimes I need time to grow my little plants. (Ask GRR MARTIN, I'm still waiting for the wind of winter…) I don't think I'll need ten years, but a little time anyway. I'm sorry Heavy is the Crown isn't up to the task of keeping you waiting.

I promise I'll try to get back into it, even if it means writing 100 words a day.

Would you be willing to tell me what you find to cheesy in Heavy is the crown ? I might be able to improve on that tooL
