Paintbrush stared at the ceiling of the small cabin each contestants had. They had felt a horrible sensation in their mouth, and they felt like it would swallow them whole.

They wanted OJ back. They NEEDED OJ back.

Sometimes, when Paintbrush got too much anxiety, they would hear things. Voices, horrible voices telling them how bad they were. When alone, a person that looked exactly like them, but fire, would follow them around, telling them how sick they were.

And just that was just what was happening.

The figure leaned against a table, a fiery light around the aera.

"...leave me the fuck alone."

"Hah, make me.",

Paintbrush looked away. "Im not gonna let you hurt me."

"Hm. Fine." The figure disappeared, but a voice ran in their head.

"You broke a promise. To OJ, AND to yourself. You promised to never be like him. But you cant stop DNA, can ya?"

Paintbrush whimpered. The voice was right. They promised to never be like their father.

And now look at where they were at.

"Your father would never support you if you told him.,"

"Well duh, that psycho's in jail."

"But dont you have a visit with soon? I thought you thought he could change? But look at you, your a perfect image of him!" The voice cackled. "OJ might've given you a 'promotion', but he never forgave you."

Paintbrush stared at the ceiling. They felt that horrible sensation creep up throughout them. Ash crept up their arm.

Fuck. They had forgot about the ash/corruption thingy.

When they got too out of it, ash crept would spread all over them, and it brought them into a horrible, angry, just bad state. It was their own corruption. And they hated it

"Please, please leave me alone. You and your stupid ash should skitdaddle."

"Fine, youre no fun! Just remember: its DNA. You will forever be like him."

And the voice disappeared. So did the ash.

But Paintbrush still felt that corruption, and they wanted it to end.

"...give me OJ back. ...p-please."
