idea for your vulcan/human ships: vulcan partner doesn't need as much sleep as their human. they wake hours before their partner does, readying for their morning meditation. they come back to their bedroom to find the human sprawled out on the bed. they've kicked the covers off, a leg hanging off the edge of the bed. the vulcan makes sure they don't fall out, tucking their limbs back in place. the human shivers at a chill breeze flowing through the room. the vulcan makes sure their partner is covered, bringing the blanket up to their chin. they watch as the human smiles in their sleep, sensing a wave of contentment and love flow through their bond.

the trio!!! Spork the Vulcan, Kebir the Trill, and Hyle the Ferengi :)

Spork and Hyle are married, and they run a cafe together!! and Kebir just recently changed to this new host and they're still figuring things out, so these two took pity on them by giving them a job and basically adopted them into their family

they also are all in a band together :)

thinking about this one star trek live journal fanfiction where kirk was sent to an alternate universe and the bridge crew were disguised as new or older ppl in his life trying to keep the 1990s/early 2000s goverment from discovering them (especially spock) while they try to convince kirk hes a space captain from a different universe and not some hick born in the 80s/90s and then the side conflict is spock trying not to let his feelings and yearning for 2000s domesticity with kirk jeopardize the entire rescue operation

thinking about how it never got an ending and ended up on permanent hiatus

I fucking love when characters see themselves in someone else

Current thoughts rn is an oc who’s half human and half a species I made up that’s not well known in the federation and only recently joined it awhile ago

And they wanna be a good representation of their non-human species, but stuff keeps happening that makes them feel like they fail at it

And in many ways, they’re different from Spock, cause Spock looks like a Vulcan and wants people to look at him and see a Vulcan who succeeds at being a Vulcan, whereas this oc looks like a human, but wants people to see them as [species I made up]

But they still have some similarities, and they’re crying cause all this drama happened around them, like their fiancé calling off their engagement during the ceremony, and how they feel like their fiancé wouldn’t have done that to them if they weren’t half human, etc

And Spock is just to the side, distinctly aware that he’s had the same thoughts
