Did a 990 feet (301 meter) climb hike today.

Up around 6,000 feet altitude, so while my legs were keeping up fine, I was really struggling to keep my breath. The air really does work different up there.

WORTH IT THO for the beautiful views!!!!

Gorgeous!!!!! The forests are really lush bc of the low-hanging clouds (the resulting mists and fogs being why they're called the smoky mountains in the first place), so it was just really gorgeous. And then the place we went is called Andrews Bald, bc it's just a small field on top of the mountain that's clear of trees. We ate lunch there & it was a lovely little picnic.

I ALSO saw,

A fucking BEAR!!!!! In the car ride back to the cabin lol. Some lady was out there taking pictures at the side of the road so we were like "?" & looked and saw two little bears just at the side of the road, scrounging around. Mama bear not in sight. We didn't dare get out of the car with no knowledge of where mama bear was (you do NOT fuck with a mama bear's cubs), so I took this pic of one of them out the back. Hopefully the lady got away fine too, despite her being objectively very stupid with how close she was.

I finished the special story in Connections and it got me to bawl my eyes out so bad. That story was so much more meaningful and emotional and impactful than the entirety of Naruto itself. What the fuck do you mean it was written by Kishimoto????? He did NOT write something for a side story in one of the ultimate ninja storm games and make it better than anything he's ever done before. There's just no fucking way.

Zomg my audio is like really really good now. What the hell. It's like... it's like. It's like nearly-audiobook-level good. It sounds really really good. Even before I applied all the edits and stuff, the raw audio sounds way better now, cause I think the microphone is able to be so much closer to my mouth with the arm now, like, I literally sound better than some of the YouTuber's I listen to right now.
