"ughhhhh!" I groaned and rolled over at the sound of my ugly older Zo brother pounding on my door for me to get ready for school. "tell him to get up he won't listen to anyone else but you and big baller. And as you can see big baller ain't here." "What if he doesn't remember me- it has been two years Zo."I got closer to my door listening to the odd conversation outside of it. Whoever Zo was talking to had a HEAVY New York accent."Ay melo get u- ow!?!"i yelled as i felt the hard wood hit me face "oh my bad" A lightskin girl said. She had to be about 5'4, her hair was out in its natural dark brown curly fro. She had piercings and tattoos all over. She's pure pressure not gonna lie "I know i'm cute but you done staring down at me, we do have school?" she said. "uh why would I be taking you to school I don't even know your name let alone how you got in my house?" I asked genuinely confused. "Zo I told you he wouldn't remember me!" She yelled down the hall."oh well" Zo yelled back, I gave her a confused look. "Wait are you deadass right now?" she asked her voiced cracked in the smallest way. "Uh yea ion think we've met before." I said still confused. "oh I'm Azlia but you can call me Azi."She stared at me for a little longer than usual."No I wanna call you mamas " I said smirking and pulling her close "Ion think ya girl would be okay with that." Azi said laughing and pushing me off her. I already love her laugh and I just met her. "Ion got a girl what is you talking about?" I asked. "Melo stop playing and come downstairs." She said grabbing her bookbag "I made pancakes , sausage and eggs your plate is in the microwave ." Azi said running down the stairs "Thanks" I smiled"No problem." She returned it."Damn Azi you got him using his manners he ain't said that since 08 " Zo said. "How is Denise doing." I said while flicking him off " Pretty swell actually" He said smiling."um no she actually mad at you right now."I said laughing "fuck you" I scrunched my face up."no thanks save that for- wait you can't even save those two inches for Denise"Zo chased me around the kitchen counter."Shut up bitch" Azi was dying the whole time "I'll see you at school Melo ok." Azi said grabbing her keys and wiping her tears from laughing. "why don't we just take the lambo?" I asked . "Um I don't think you little girlfriend would be okay with that. " Azi said laughing bring this 'girlfriend' up once again. "Um what little girlfriend." I said "you serious?" Azi and Zo said at the same time. "Yea I don't have a girlfriend" I said laughing. "Pops melo said he don't got a girlfriend.I heard she clipped you." Zo said laughing. Some bald man walked in and said " melo what are you talking about you and Ashley broke up? He asked with a confused look on his face "I don't know who you or this Ashley is."I raised an eyebrow."Boy if you don't stop playing and take yo ass to school." He said in a serious tone. "Momma who tf is this in the kitchen." I asked "hold on moms I'm coming." Zo said as he went towards the living room. "you better watch ya mouth wild boy" he said "Aye bald bitch- " Before I could even finish ,Azi have covered my mouth which I wasn't expecting because I'm 6'5 and she's 5'4. "Momma who is this and why do you have to walk with a cane?"My voice cracked "Melo? You....ok?" She asked her words were spaced apart and she was stuttering . "Yes no I don't know I wake with zo banging on my door, then Azi a girl that I barely know no offense, "none taken", hits me in the face with my own door, some random man is in the house, you have a cane and your words are spaced apart and you're stuttering ." I said rambling with tears threatening the brim of my eyes. No one said anything they all just stared at me. There were three knocks on the door and Zo had beat Gelo to it zo flicked him of and started dancing "hey babe" some girl i'm assuming was Ashley walked through the door. Zo sucked his teeth and rolled his eyes. Gelo snickered. "Why are you here?" Ashley asked Azi with slight annoyance in her voice. She was cute I guess but she wasn't anything compared to Azi "I'm here because i'm wanted to be here can't say the same about you though." Azi said shrugging he shoulders Zo, mom, and Gelo snickered "ughh whatever" Ashley said rolling her eyes. Azi didn't looked fazed at all."If yall are tryna prank me it ain't workin. idk who you are so don't call me babe, the only person i want to call me that is Azi." I said Azi I both blushed but tried to hide it by looking at her toes those perfect little toes.I an into toe-suckin ight but if I was damn "Huh" everybody I palmed myself in the face "Thinking out loud " I said shrugging my shoulders."Melo, baby you alright?" this Ashley girl but this timed she tried to kiss me. "aye bruh Ion know who you are but you need to chill with allat." I said annoyed "I'm out man Azi you coming?" I asked "uh no I can take my car I'll be fine" She with a genuine look on her face. I got in hopped in my lambo and Ashley soon came running and knocking on my window. "What? I asked. "I thought we were going to school together." "um no were not I don't know who you are." I said pulling off and driving to school.Soon Going Bad by Meek Mill Featuring Drake filled the speakers of my car. I saw Azi pull up next to me at a red light blasting the same song. I motioned for her to roll her window down. "What ?" She asked "first if you wanna be like me just say that, second-naw don't do that if anything you wanna be like me" she said cutting me off. "uh excuse me ma'am; second , if I win this race I get to take out on a date." I said smiling showing my pink and green braces. "No ya lil girlfriend would not like that." she said I rolled my eyes "She is not my girlfriend!" I said hitting the steering wheel"Ok whatever you say just know yo ass finna get blasted in this race." She said cockily before I could even say anything back she rolled her window up. It was a strait shot to Chino so there aren't any turns or anything. Azi started revving her engine so I started revving my too. As soon as the light hit green we zoomed off. she cut me off and I as taken back a little by the way she was switching lanes. Azi can drive her ass off. I wasn't gone let her punk me like that so I had to drive past her just to be funny. I saw her flipping me off through my rearview mirror and I laughed to myself about how goofy she is. As soon as I pulled into the Chino parking lot I saw Azi's green car parked in my usual spot. "looks like you can't take me out on a date". Azi said cocky manner and popping her invisible collar. I hopped out my car. "Um I do what I want I'm gonna take you on a date" i said wrapping my arms around my waist and burying my face in neck kissing it a little. I don't know why but I felt like I had a strong connection to this girl somehow. We were at my locker by now."Dip chill"she moaned a little "You can't be grabbing on me like you used to you got a girl ok."She huffed "I don't have a girl me and Ashley never dated and if we did or still do were over i'm gonna tell her after school!" I said annoyed I heard sniffles behind me "If that's how you feel melo then so be it." Ashley said. "No that's not what I meant.I don't remember anything at all." I said annoyed once again. "I don't want to sound harsh or break your heart but when I feel a certain way I'm gonna explain how I feel.I'm sorry but Ashley but when I'm with you I don't feel anything." "Melo chill out I'm not worth fighting for, You and Ashley are well were together until you said what you said I can't get tangled up in your mess again." Azi said with her voice cracking once again. "why do you think that? when i'm with you I feel something that I think that I've felt before. I just I can't remember anything I'm tired of having to choose between people over and over again." I said with tears threatening my eyes. why am I being so emotional? "I need to get to class." Azi and I said at the same time. I swear I'm falling in love with this girl already.We laughed and went our separate ways. Ashley just stood there looking dumb.

"Mr.Ball you're late." My science teacher said I sucked my teeth and kept it pushing my day was already being fucked up. I heard heels clicking behind me "Yo you good?" My teacher asked me "Yea? how old are you?You don't sound like a teacher" I asked. she started dying "melo you a fool bruh for real is everything ok?" "I just said I'm fine can you just go back to teaching." I said with an attitude.There were ooo's going all around the classroom. "Melo ion know what you got going on today but you need to fix. Ian never have I won't have a problem with sending you to the office." she said she sound like she was from New Orleans. I rolled my eyes and went to my seat. "Aye melo you good bruh" some bronwskin boy asked me.He had a nose peircing and half his dreads were red and the other side black. "uh yea" I said keeping it cool and giving signals ian wanna talk. "ight whatever you say dip." he said shrugging his shoulders. "how do you know my- uh nevermind my day is already shitty enough." i said i plugged my headphones and started watching Trollhunters on Netflix not caring about what was going on.

"why are you late Ms.Williams?" my math teacher questioned me. "oh my bad I had to deal with something before class." I said shrugging my shoulders.I'm already over this day. I can't get myself wrapped up in his mess not again, I have to figure out what's wrong with melo he's seemed so off this morning.

After two hours of being around people I didn't know, i finally got home. "To prove there is nothing wrong with me why don't we go to the doctor?" We all got up and walked towards the door

"Hi I'm doctor Amanda Johnson and what will we be discussing today?" I said recapping everything that happened this morning. "Ok um I'll need to do just a little check up height, weight, the usual." she said I stood up out the chair "holy sh- um how old are you?" she gulped you could hear how intimidated she was when I stood up. "I'm 16." I said nonchalantly."sixte- nevermind lonzo can you help me with the stadiometer" she was like 4'11 "sure" zo said in a weird tone. I sat on the little bed thing. She checked my heartbeat and allat good stuff. "Everything seems to be fine." she said hopping off the stool and started typing away on he desktop."Hmmmmm" The doctor said with a blank stare looking at the computer that's why I hate doctors you never know what they're saying smh. "?Well?" I said "Well there might be a scan that we can do next week to see what's going on with you because that "bald dude" is your dad in fact".She put quotations around bald dude and gave me a weird look. "lady no disrespect but i'm pretty sure i'd remember who my dad is." I said returning her confused look zo slapped the back of my head."ow" I whispered rubbing the back of my head. "Alright I'll see you guys next week." "th-thank you! mommy said.

"Uhh yea oh wait let's get the purple confetti instead." I said to Lee. Today is my mom's birthday so I'm tryna go all out. "Target has better balloons and candles." I said walking out of Walmart "Azi we've been to 8 stores already, are you sure?"Lee said laughing "Yes I'm serious, Mom is turning 42 we gotta go bi-" Before i could finish my sentence my phone started ringing.Incoming cal from Him💕 "Yes?" I had just found a parking space when my brother shot me a text. Looking over I replied in my head and proceeded to park before getting out and making my way inside the airport. I was more than geeked about having my baby brother here with me. He was just like me, hotheaded, horrible attitude and a nasty mouth with no filter.

I looked around for a good minute but then I saw that damn beard. My phone went off again and I could see him getting frustrated. “Yo Karter!” His head snapped back so fast I thought the shit was gon’ break off. “MY NIGGA!” We exclaimed together as we dapped and pulled each other in for a hug.

I stepped back and crossed my arms observing him. “Bruh you done grew the fuck up on me.” He stroked his beard cheesing. “Shit it has been a while since we’ve seen each other,” I felt bad about that shit. “but fuck it. Im just stoked to be here man. I missed you.” He dapped me again laughing. I grabbed one of his suitcases and led the way out.

Packing his shit in the trunk, we got in and you know I had to roll a fat wood. “Still in that shit huh?” I sighed and shook my head. “Not for long.” That was one thing he hated the most. Best believe he’s a pothead but dealing? You can kiss that goodbye. Soon as I mentioned something about it he turned and walked away from me.

He would try and be funny sometimes paying me when he wanted weed but of course I slipped the shit back to him. Thats my bro so he always get free shit. “Londyn finally gave me chance.” I spoke out hoping to shift the topic and mood. “No shit! You bagged the baddest in the city. I follow her on instagram nshit and boooooy! She still fine.”

My face flattened as I sealed the wood and mugged his ass. “Shut the fuck up nigga.” He held his hands up in surrender and leaned his seat back. I backed out of the parking space and lit the wood. “But it happened on some wild shit. Some drunk shit actually,” he chuckled, “took her on a nice little date nshit.” I puffed on the blunt before passing.

“Its shocking but not really ‘cause it was bound to happen. Everybody knew yall was gon’ end up together sooner than later.” He shrugged taking a hit. He did have a point though. When I say everybody and their mama knew, I meant that. “Oh shit before I forget, we going out tonight for her sisters shop opening. So I hope you’on got plans.” Karter scrunched his face. “Nigga what plans would I have?” I busted out laughing and snatched my blunt from him.

I groaned and pushed my head into the pillow as loud music blared through the house. “Get the fuck up! Get ready!” I popped up and seen Loryn standing in the doorway with her hands on her hips. “You over slept Lani.” She walked over to my closet and placed my makeup box on the vanity. “Oh shit. I wanted to flat iron my hair.”

I sat at the edge of the bed. I still had to find something to wear. “You look beautiful with curly hair. Chop chop! Lets move.” She walked out closing the door behind her. I really didnt mean to over sleep but shit I was tired. After my bubble bath I smoked a blunt and watched movies on Netflix until I fell asleep.

I was still distraught about earlier today. I felt so stupid for wanting to text Omari. I wanted answers but then again I didnt. Shaking it off, I went to the closet and picked through my clothes. I could either go classy or simple but still fashionable. I decided on simple.

Once I got dressed I brushed my teeth then started on this lion mane of mine. All I had to was wet it a little and apply moisturizer. I needed my curls to pop tonight. Checking myself out in the mirror I blew a kiss then turned out the light before returning to the closet. “Have you heard from mama?” Loryn busted in my room once again. “No. Call her.” I said in duh tone. “You call her.”

She rolled her eyes and sat on my bed. “You look cute by the way.” I waved her off and continued to dial my mom. When she answered she said, “yes Lani? Make it quick.” I placed her on speaker phone and handed the phone to Loryn. “Ma? You cant miss this night. I need you there!” She expressed. “MA! You hear you?”

“I hear you baby. Oh shit, Im on the way home now.” You could her rushing off to somewhere and slamming a door closed. “Im grabbing my things now and leaving. I wont miss it. I promise.” She said her goodbyes and explained to someone what was going on. Lordyn didnt hang up until she heard the car start up. “Shes gonna miss it.” She whispered looking like she wanted to cry.

“Stay positive. Let go get a drink.” I grabbed her hand and dragged her to the kitchen yelling out for my other two sister. “C’mon girls!” Londyn and Leilani walked into the kitchen looking fly as fuck. I swear my mama made some fine ass twins. I took the bottle of Hennessy out the freezer and grabbed some shit glasses.

I poured shots for us and motioned for them to pick one. “I just wanna toast to my bad ass sissy Loryn. I couldn’t be more proud of you!” We clinked our glasses together chanting, “congrats suh!” before throwing the shot back. I heard the door open and my mom walked in. “Oh fuck im late.” My sisters and I fell out laughing. She threw her purse and bag on the couch shrugging her jacket off. “Ima throw something on then join in.”

I got another glass and poured us another shot. We waited for my mom to come out, and five minutes later she came out looking flawless as always. “Ok Ok,” my mom grabbed her glass and looked over at Loryn. “to my precious Ruby, Im more than proud to be your mother. Im more than proud about you opening up your own business. I pray for positive vibes and many more blessings to come your way.”

She raised her glass and we followed. “Mommy loves you baby.” We clung glasses again and down the liquor. “Kaiden is here. Lets roll.” Londyn announced and I instantly got nervous. We grabbed everything we needed before leaving out and locking the house. “Hey mama Loraine.” Kaiden, who had flowers in his hands, walked up to her giving her hug and kissing her cheek. “And congrats to the Ms. Loryn.” He handed her the flowers and kissed her forehead.

“Wassup Lei, Lil Lo?” Kaiden proceeded to kiss our foreheads leaving Londyn for last. He wrapped her in a bear hug placing a fat kiss on her lips. “This my lil brotha Karter, Kater this is Mama Loraine and the the twins.” He did a quick introduction. I was definitely checking out Karter. His beard. Those lips. Thats damn smile! Calm down Lani.. I coached myself.

“Yall look beautiful,” he complimented once he took his attention off of Londyn. “whats the riding plans?” He continued. “I’ll drive. And mama and the twins can ride with me.” Loryn spoke up. Kaiden looked back at me. “Wanna ride wit us Lil Lo?” I looked around before nodding my head. Londyn squinted her eyes and walked to the car.

“Follow me Kaiden.” “Already.” We parted ways and hopped in the car. “What you call yourself doing Kai?” He cocked his head to the side and cranked the car. “Fuck you talkin bout princess?” We had to wait for Loryn to back out of the driveway before we could move. As always, Kaiden pulled out a wood that was already rolled. “Ima wait til mama and them pass to light it.” He looked at me and Karter in the backseat.

“You know exactly what Im talking about. Dont play stupid.” She looked back at us and squinted her eyes again. “Girl mind ya business.” Kaiden turned her around and took off behind Loryn.

Not even thirty minutes later, we pulled to Loryns shop, Naturals. She had her own lot and plenty of space for clients. There was close to a hundred people waiting outside. I was shocked. Kaiden cut the engine and we got out at the same time. As we got closer to the door Loryn got teary eyed. “Wow! First and foremost, thank you all for coming out and celebrating with me. Im beyond grateful.” Everyone cheered clapping their hands.

“I would like to thank my family for motivating me and keeping me focused. Next, much much love to my wonderful working staff. Im more than excited for yall to see everything so, lets get it!” She slapped her hands together smiling hard and taking a pair of scissors. I watched on, with my cheeks damn near hurting and tears in my eyes, as Loryn cut the rope. “YES LORYN!” I yelled out clapping and whooping! Soon after everyone else joined in.

L O R Y N

“Welcome to Naturals.” I hugged and welcomed everyone in. I was amazed by the crowd and was filled with joy. I couldn’t do anything but thank the Lord. My shop came out looking beautiful. Each hair dresser had their own personal space. I sat the flowers Kaiden got me on the receptionist desk and walked around.

Seeing everyone smiling and enjoying their selves made my heart smile. “Congratulations beautiful.” Turning around I came face to face with Ace. “What are you doing here?” I haven’t heard from him in a while and now he decided to pop up. “I couldnt miss my girls day.” I leaned my head to the side and started to walk away. But then I thought, what good would that do? Knowing I was gonna end up in his bed later on.

“Now Im your girl? I havent seen or heard from you in weeks. Whats that about?” I placed one hand on my hip and looked up at him. Ace sighed and stepped closer to me. “I had a drop to make out of town. Came back this morning and been resting up since then.” His hands were in his pockets. “And you couldnt let me know that?”

“So you could come up with every reason in the book to keep me from going?” He fired back. I had to give him that so I stayed quiet. “I gotta lil gift for you. You’ll get it later on tonight. “ He leaned down, kissed my lips and made his way over to my mom to greet her. I swear I couldn’t stand him at times but he made me happy. Looking around again, I stopped when I seen Lolani and Kaidens brother chalking it up the bar.

He had to be saying some funny shit ‘cause she was smiling and laughing hard. Fuck they got going on? Deciding to leave it alone and ask later, I spotted Leilani and Londyn with Kaiden right behind her. “Hey yall.” I laughed a little approaching them. “Im loving the shop, its so spacious and classy.” I loved my twin.

“I love the colors. I even took this bomb ass picture in the bathroom.” Leilani showed me the picture and I instantly gassed her. “You so fuckin fine.” One of the caterers walked around us a glass of champagne. “Congrats again sus!” I could get use to hearing that.

It was close to midnight when my guest left. I cleaned up with the help of my family, which only took half an hour. “Thank yall again, I cant express how much I love yall.” I handed my mom the keys and told her that I was riding home with Ace. She kissed my cheek and led them out the shop. “Im proud of you.” My dimples sunk in as my I looked down smiling. “Ready for ya gift?”

“More than ready.” I grabbed my belongings, grabbed his hand and waked out locking up behind us. He opened the car door for me and then made his way to driver seat. One settled into the car he reached in the back and pulled out a duffel bag along with small gift bags. He sat the duffel in my lap and opened it. When I say my mouth dropped.

It was neatly stacked bills filled to the top. “Thats for emergencies. Put in somewhere safe.” Next he handed me the small bags and I went searching. The bag held an iced Pandora bracelet. “Damn,” was the only thing I could say. In the next bag was a gold Cuban link chain. “Ice me out then!” We laughed and he took the jewelry to place them on me.

“Dont get fucked up out here Loryn, remember who ya man is.” I smacked my teeth and pushed his hand. “I dont need no reminder nigga.” He pulled me in for a kiss and pushed my seat back. “Now sit back and shut up while I enjoy myself.” Ace took my thighs and made me spread eagle. “Why you free ballin’?”

I looked down as he placed small wet kisses on my second lips. “Stop teasing me and get to it.” He slid two fingers inside of my mouth and flicked my clit. “I didnt tell you to talk so shut up?” He drug his tongue from the top the of my clit down to my opening. Chapter Seven: The Bathtub

If I threatened to cut out a child’s teeth and forced another one to jump off a cliff causing their friend to break my arm I would’ve told my mom anything other than the partial truth he told I jumped off the roof and landed wrong I was skateboarding and landed wrong anything else, but no this big ass mamas boy wannabe tough guy went cryin to his mommy about how the mean girl broke his arm like he’s completely blameless in why his arm was broken. The kids filling everyone in on all that they know is kind of adorable but the adults and the teens should’ve been sharing too like how Nancy climbed into the Upside Down through a tree in the woods there’s a lack of full disclosure which is a handicap. Sidenote I don’t appreciate the way Hop is staring at El. He’s looking at her like she’s a creature instead of a child and I sincerely dislike it. Watching Lucas and Dustin try to get the pool to stand up has me rollin I’d be in the same boat.

Maybe it’s like a vampire it doesn’t have molars so it can’t chew how does this work? It stresses El the hell out when stuff disappears in The Void.

Hops ‘I’m the man and I’m gonna save everyone on my own’ attitude gets on my nerves in a major way tryna solo mission things that should be shared like in all honesty he could die and then what? While everybody waits for him to comeback victorious Will could die because he has his chest puffed out. So way to go Joyce for standing up for what you believe in. The teens concern me though neither Jonathan nor Nancy will be getting big sibling of the year right now just leaving the kids behind while they go lookin for the Demogorgon and they didn’t even tell them before they took off just negatives on negatives.

Chapter 31 ~ Family Feud (Part 1)

I stormed into the house, slamming the front door, not caring what the hell was going on around me. I didn’t care that there were guest here, I didn’t care that there was a function that was taken place. I did not fucking care.

I sped walked into the kitchen, and saw Mama C. “WHERE THE FUCK IS HE!” I yelled.

I’m pretty sure I was breathing fire, and I had every fucking right to.

“He’s outside with the baby. Giselle, Please don’t make a scene.” She pleaded.

Fuck all that, I’m not having that bullshit. Before I could go outside, the man I was looking to see, just so happened to walk into the room.

I was taken back because last I saw Dominic, he was still in his wheelchair, but he’s moving along with his walker. My anger slowly subsided, because he was walking. It made me want to cry and run into his arms, but that isn’t why I’m here.

“Giselle?” He asked, once he saw me standing in the kitchen, I was kind of stuck, but once I remembered, I got mad all over again.

“What in the hell is going through your mind to serve me WITH FUCKIN CUSTODY PAPERS!!!”

“Gi, Calm Down.” He spoke softly

I slammed the papers on the countertops,

“No. Fuck all that shit Dominic. Why are you serving me with papers on Mason and Angel.”

“You violated our co-parenting agreement. It was the proper way of doing things.”

He was so fucking calm about everything, I really wanted to slap him in the face. We already went through hell with Katie and the case about Angel, Now her own mother wants me to adopt her 2 month old granddaughter, and now this. My mind is literally everywhere. I’m tired.

“We can go talk about this in the study.” He suggested.

“Fuck that Dominic! What gives you the right!” I was still pissed, this was unacceptable.

“Can everyone get out of the kitchen, please?” He asked,

Majority of his family, got up and went outside leaving me with Dom. It was frustrating me, because he was just looking at me.

“You look really beautiful.”

I sighed, “Dominic, why did you serve me with papers?”

“I wanted your attention, every time the kids come over, my mom brings and take them home, but if she cant, you ignore me.” He said sitting at the table.

“This is not the way to get my attention, Dominic. Now, I’m here, what do you want?”

“I want you home with me, Dominique was not my fault. I want my family back.” He told me.

I rolled my eyes, “I need more time. You’re forcing me to come here because of these papers, then telling me you want me home. Dominic, how do you think our relationship will work with you having Katie’s child? Yeah, she’s in jail but she’s going to be a pain in the ass until she dies.”

“So do you want to divorce me?”

He always brings the fact that were married up. Yes…. before he got shot, we were trying to actually give our relationship a chance, but, how much more am I supposed to take.

“You can’t bring that up any more. I’m telling you, it’s a guilt trip that doesn’t work.”

“I mean we are, and that’s the truth. I want my kids and my wife, back home where they belong.”

“Dominic…”

“Look we never really have had the actual experience of dating, Move back in, get Angel and Mason used to Dominique and just give me 6 months from now, let’s get to know each other, rebuild our relationship and our family. You live in the old guest room, and I’ll live in the guest room downstairs. No sex, just us rekindling.” He proposed

“And after the 6 months?”

“If you don’t want to be in a relationship with me, we will split everything 50/50, time with the kids 50/50 and you can move on. I’ll give you the divorce.”

“And if I don’t agree to this proposition?”

“The case resumes.”

“You’ll drop the case, if I agree?”

He rolled his eyes, “So many questions, but yes, I will and I wont bring another case against you ever again.”

“Fine. We will move back, but I’m keeping my condo.”

“That’s fine,” He smiled at me, getting exactly what he wanted.

“You’re manipulative.” I spat, irritated with his cockiness.

“You still love me. Our first date is friday at 8pm.” He said kissing my forehead, and getting up to leave the room.

Xavier

“Kam, I’ve given you enough time to find yourself, I miss you and the girls, let me come home.”

She just rolled her eyes at me, “No, you can not move back in. It’s rude to assume that 2 months is going to stop me from not trusting you.”

“Kamryn, please.” I begged.

She sighed, “The answer is still no. Plus with our therapists, we aren’t even supposed to have this conversation and we definitely are supposed to keep having sex.”

She was right, we continuously keep having sex. I love Kamryn, I know she needed her time away from me, but i didn’t think us having sex would put us at a hinderance. I thought it would keep us together, but I’m being proven wrong.

She shrugged, got dressed and left, leaving me in my bedroom, alone, like always.

I really didn’t want to have this meeting, especially because the last time it was brought up, our relationship ruined my marriage.

She stood up from the table, when she saw me walk into the restaurant.

“Xavier.”

“So, I’m Xavier now Callie? You look really good.” I laughed.

She did, I haven’t seen her in almost a year, and that time has been nothing but good to her, she rolled her eyes at me.

“You’re married.”

“That didn’t stop you before.” I quipped back

She grabbed her coat and purse and went to leave, I grabbed her arm.

“Look, I’m sorry. Can we actually talk?”

She nodded and I let her go, so we both could sit down and I went to order food. When she didn’t I eyed her, this was her favorite place to go.

“It’s on me….”

“I dont plan on being here too long Xavier.” She said giving the menu to the waitress, and we watched the waitress walk away.

“So, to get down to this so I can leave. My payments stopped for my apartment and my car.”

I nodded my head, sipping my water.

“I’m trying to wonder why this is a concern of mine?” I asked,

She instantly got angry and gritted through her teeth.

“I signed a contract and aborted my baby. You promised me you would continue to pay for my housing and car. It hasn’t been paid in 2 months Xavier.”

I rubbed my head, Kamryn.

“I’ll fix it. Kamryn is mad at me and there is probably a loophole in the contract that we didn’t know about. I’ll get everything fixed.”

“Get your wife in control.” She mumbled.

I chuckled, “Is she my wife?”

The look she gave me, I knew I caught her attention, I cleared my throat and slightly shifted in my seat.

“We’re separated right now, so she probably turned everything off to get back at me. She’s over our finances.”

Callie just blinked at me, and then put reached over to put her hand on top of mine.

“She’s stupid to let you go. Everything will work out.” She smiled,

When I smiled, she waved over the waitress to order.

I smirked, if I couldn’t have Kam…. Callie is a close second right?

Jeremiah

Here I am, calling the police again.

Because Avery won’t leave us alone. This bitch nearly kidnapped Aiden from his school. Good thing when the administration told him that his mommy was coming to pick him up, he went to Sage’s class to get in touch with Liv. He knew Liv wouldn’t take them out of school without one another.

Here she is, again. Drunk. On my front yard, screaming nonsense at 1 am.

Olivia, was tired, I was tired, I just wanted her to go away.

“AVERY! GO HOME!” I yelled out from my porch

“Fuck tha-at Jeremy-miah” She slurred.

“Gimme my son” She whined.

“He isn’t going anywhere with you!” Liv yelled

“Bitch! No one was talking to you!!!” She pointed at Liv and almost fell over, and immediately started laughing.

Liv went to go to her, but I grabbed her arm, and told her to go in the house.

“Jeremiah! I’ll suck your dick, like I used to baby. Just let me see my son.” She said walking towards me

Liv snatched out of my grip and walked in the house, slamming the front door. Leaving me and Avery in the yard alone.

“You cant be happy with her Jer. There’s a reason why she divorced you.” She whined again.

“I’m very happy, I suggest you go find some happiness,”

By this time, she was in front of me, I could literally smell the alcohol come off of her. She was plastered.

I hear her sniffle, “You were my happiness. You and Aiden.”

“The only reason why you were happy is because you felt you were above Olivia and our relationship. When you weren’t back then, and you aren’t now.”

“I MEANT SOMETHING TO YOU!!!” She yelled at my response

“IN HIGH SCHOOL AVERY! Then you cheated and left me. Olivia built me back up and was there for me….. and I betrayed her by fucking you again. I’m not making that mistake again.” I was frustrated, and I just wanted her off my damn lawn and out of my life.

“Just let me make you happy again J. I want to suck your dick and make your toes curl.” She said reaching for my sweatpants.

I grabbed her arms and pushed her away from me, and with her being drunk, she easily fell to the ground. “AVERY STOP!!”

“What do you want me to do! I want you back, I want my son back! I’ll fucking do anything” She cried

“I want you to go home and leave my family alone. We will never get back together Avery. We ARE TOXIC for each other.”

“What are you saying?” She cried again.

“If I have to pick between my family and Olivia over you, I will ALWAYS pick Olivia and the kids over you!”

She started sobbing in the yard, and I can’t deal with this shit. I started to walk back into the house, when she screamed at me.

“BUT I LOVE YOU JEREMIAH!! I’ll do anything!! PLEASE!”

“I DON’T FUCKING CARE! GET OFF MY DAMN PROPERTY BRUH” I yelled and slammed the front door, leaving her crying trying to get into the house.

I locked it and turned the alarm back on and went to go check on the kids, making sure they weren’t woken up by the foolishness.

None of them were, so I went to see if Avery was still in the yard, and she wasn’t. I sighed in relief and got back in the bed.

“I heard what you said.” Liv whispered.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if the whole neighborhood heard.”

“Thank you.” She told me

“Thank you for what?”

“Choosing me. I don’t think I could handle if you went back on your word.”

“As long as I live, I will always choose you. I’m sorry for even thinking there was someone better than you. You’re the love of my life. I will NEVER cheat on you again. I will always choose you, if you let me.” I told her, while kissing her shoulders.

Olivia is my life and I genuinely would rather die than leave her again.

“I love you too J.”

And we drifted off to sleep.
